The Neolithic passage grave is one of the 10 oldest buildings in the world (4000-3500 BC) making it older than the pyramids! Its ancient chamber was once a sacred space for rituals and ceremonies.

At La Hougue Bie, couples will find beautiful landscapes and structures to stage their envisioned nuptial celebration. This location is licensed for civil ceremonies, which allows you to host all aspects of your wedding day here. Atop the verdant mound here, sits the medieval chapel. Nestled in a grove of mature trees, this structure can accommodate an intimate ceremony of up to 25 guests. Alternatively, up to 100 guests can attend an outdoor ceremony held under the ancient trees here. The beautiful lawns at this location provide the ideal space for an open-air drinks reception, where guests can mingle and explore in the sunshine. During this, you and your beloved can take advantage of the many beautiful wedding photography spots here. A wedding marquee is located at the base of the historic mound and can comfortably accommodate 130 guests for a seated wedding breakfast. Within this bright and airy event tent, you and your guests can drink, dine, and dance the night away. Ample parking is provided on-site for your convenience and this venue also benefits from a music license.
