Amazing venue and staff
We met with the wedding coordinator, Danielle, several times and I knew she had everything under control. We were able to have everything we wanted at our wedding and no ask was too much for them. We wanted a relaxed but traditional wedding feel, with a 3 course sit down meal with platters of food in the evening including a cheese and dessert platters too. Its safe to say everyone was full and many of our guests complimented the food. The Greswolde were really kind to our band, MUA, photographer and event stylist too which I really appreciated as I didn't feel I needed to check on them and make sure they were being accommodated for. At other venues we would have paid a LOT more than we did yet we did not compromise anything at the Greswolde for the price we paid. In particular I loved that the ceremony, reception and accommodation was all in one place. I had full access to the function rooms the night before to see the décor and make any amendments. After all the months of planning, me and my husband were truly able to enjoy the day and be present for every moment, not once did we spare a thought to the days timeline or organisation as it was being taken care of by the staff. In the evening I liked that guests had 2 function rooms to roam so if people needed a quieter space away from our band, they could relax in the next room where there was a private bar. To this day guests say our wedding felt really relaxed and that they loved the food. I feel like we found a hidden treasure of a wedding venue. All our photos are lovely and its an added bonus that the Greswolde have access to a private garden which is lovely for a couples wedding shoot. I cant thank the staff enough for how amazing our day was - particularly Danielle. Thankyou to Lauren, Ben and all the staff for the truly fantastic job they did at the weekend for our wedding!!! To say it ran smoothly is an understatement!! Lauren seemed to appear at my side just as I needed something and the food and service was second to none!! I could not thank the Greswolde enough! My partner and I had the most magical wedding. Food was lovely, staff were helpful and a special thank you to Lauren.

Brilliant Wedding Reception!
My partner & I booked the Greswolde Arms Hotel for our Wedding Reception in July, 3 weeks after we had got married abroad as we wanted to celebrate with our family & friends once home. From my initial enquiry, our Coordinator Lauren was brilliant & so helpful. I had looked at other venues for our reception but as soon as I walked into the Hotel, I knew I wanted to book it, especially after I met with Lauren & saw the function suite, it was just what I was looking for. She did a brilliant job of organizing our night & nothing was too much trouble. She made sure everything was clear, regarding number of guests, menu options, prices etc. The Hotel is conveniently located near Solihull with plenty of free parking for guests & also all the rooms are decorated so lovely & are very comfortable, we stayed in the Bridal Suite which was beautiful. The Greswolde provided the DJ (who was fab & played everything we'd requested) all the catering and buffet for 130 people & I can honestly say, all our guests commented how fantastic the food was! All the staff were so friendly & polite & worked so hard to make sure our party went off perfectly, & thanks to manager Ben who set up my laptop so we could put a slideshow of our wedding pics on the screen. Brilliant job everyone, and thankyou truly.
We had our wedding reception at the Greswolde on the 31st May 2019, we had opted for an out of season "basic" wedding package - my partner and I had several meetings with Lauren at the Greswolde and were made to feel completely taken care of and in the picture at all times, not to mention welcomed and special!
The Greswolde provided catering, DJ and buffet along with some fantastic bar staff and master of Ceremony Ben, the day was flawless as were the hotel rooms.
Floor service, food, drinks, entrance, everything was amazing and there is nothing I could think of that I would change or improve. Ben is a legend and managed to keep the bride calm when she started to flap (conjunctivitis attack on the wedding morning!!)
DJ was great and catered for our and our guests music taste which ranged from 80s hits, pop music, power metal, rock and thrash.
Bar staff were excellent also, lot of people commented especially on one of the young lads on our bar being great.
All of our family and friends were chuffed with the whole experience - I would reccomend the venue to everyone for a wedding reception and hope to be back if any of my mates get hitched.
Even the cleaners were lovely, polite and chatty!
Brilliant job everyone, and thankyou truly.
I'd be excited to see what happens with the top tier wedding package now! Maybe we will renew our vows in a few years with that one!
