I've tried to write this review several times but I don't feel any words can do justice to the wonderful family and team behind this venue.
We knew how perfect Glewstone Country House was the second we arrived for our first viewing. Gary is a warm and proud introduction to the venue and how things are run. It was so obvious that they welcomed you like family.
Emily and Joel answered all my emails quickly and in depth which meant we were able to book the right date for us and let the wedding planning begin!
Amy was a pleasure to organise our wedding with, her guidance helped bring our vision in to reality.
We arrived the day before our wedding and were greeted by Charles who makes the effort to get to know each guest individually and continuously ensured everyone had everything they needed.
Sam couldn't do enough to help and made everyone, from our children to our grandparents feel appreciated and at ease. Sam and Charles together walked around with smiles on their faces and made sure the wedding morning went completely as planned from the smallest of details. We had nothing to worry about and were able to sit back and really enjoy our day.
The venue itself is stunning and perfectly suited to what we were looking for for our wedding day. The rooms were decorated beautifully, spacious and clean. Especially the bridal suite! The food was wonderful with more than enough (even for our picky eaters and big appetites!)
Absolutely everybody, including our suppliers, couldn't praise the venue and team highly enough. Thank you so much for being such a wonderful part of our day. We really can't thank you enough for being such amazing hosts. -

We cannot thank Glewstone Court enough for giving us the most beautiful experience for our wedding day. The beauty of the venue, the wonderful staff and the warm feeling we had as soon as we visited Glewstone is what drew us to it immediately!
Right from the start of the wedding day we were met with such care and attention to detail. Even though it was raining, the whole team did everything they could to make sure that everyone was happy and settled and I really didn’t think twice about the weather! The interior of the venue was so elegant, with the fires lit and the gorgeous, tall windows making us feel like the outside was part of the inside. It was truly beautiful!
The bridal party were greeted by Sam, who immediately helped me in with my umbrella! We cannot thank Sam enough for the incredible care and support he provided to the whole wedding party from start to finish. He was so helpful, attentive and made us feel so welcome. Everyone commented on how wonderful the whole team were during the day, they really went above and beyond!
All guests have commented on how amazing the day was. The food was absolutely delicious and the rooms were incredible.
We all had such an amazing day filled with smiles, fun and laughter. It is a day we will cherish forever and we cannot thank Glewstone Court enough for that!

My wife and I had every engauged couples worst fears come true. Just one week before our big day, our venue cancelled on us after 14 months worth of planning.
We didn't know at the time, but this proved to be far from a disaster, and was instead a blessing in disguise.
This, at the time, devistating news, lead us on the path to a day far better than we could have imagined.
Gary, Sam, Joel, Amy, and Charles, with only a weeks notice, managed to deliver us a day that looked as though it had been planned for months. The team at Glewstone Court worked tirelessly, cancelled personal time off, and went above and beyond to give us the most wonderful day.
We truly can't thank Gary and Sam's team enough.
The food was elegantly presented and delicious, the service was outstanding, and the location and venue itself are truly beautiful.
We can't recommend Glewstone court enough. If you are lucky enough to secure a date at this wonderful venue, you will not regret it. Be prepared to have your expectations blown out of the water! -

We chose Glewstone Court for our wedding, and we were all so blown away by how incredible it was in every possible way.
They went above and beyond in every sense, Charles and Sam in particular were amazing on the big day. Everyone said how brilliant they were. It was certainly a joy to have people so cool, calm, and collected on such a crazy day!
We'd been speaking with Amy prior to the big day, and she was so lovely and knowledgeable that it made planning an absolute dream.
Gary was very polite and friendly, and it was lovely to meet him. At a lot of venues, you don't often see the owners, but it's lovely that he's so hands on here and it's clear that he (and everyone else) really do care and always give 100%.
We would recommend Glewstone Court to anyone, and we can't wait to return in the future! It's such a wonderful building, and the location is stunning.
We booked for 48 hours, and everyone commented on how beautiful the food was at every meal.
The rooms were beautiful and clean, very luxurious and lots of space! Decor is very tasteful and we were all made to feel very welcome.
We really feel like it wasn't "just another wedding", there was a real personal touch, and that made it all the more special. Thank you all so much. -

The most perfect day
We cannot recommend this venue any more highly! We had our entire wedding at Glewstone Court, from the ceremony to the reception and we made the best decision ever. The staff were so accommodating and filled us with so much confidence that the day would run smoothly, and thanks to them, it did! The food was astounding and our guests cannot stop talking about it (especially the cheese soufflé). Nothing we asked for was too much, even with last minute changes, they took it in their stride and the day went as perfectly as it could have! -

Could not have wished for more - the perfect venue!
Our wedding day at Glewstone was nothing short of amazing and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect celebration.
The entire weekend was exceptional from start to finish and we were made to feel so welcome. From our initial calls, the Glewstone team helped us to remember the finer details and gave personal recommendations on things we hadn’t considered. They had a detailed plan for the day and knew exactly what would happen and when. We didn't need to worry about a thing and could really just enjoy our special day.
The venue and the grounds are gorgeous and this really came out in our wedding photos. The accommodation is absolutely stunning and all our guests commented on how roomy and well equipped the rooms were.
My personal favourite was the food which was very high quality. There were a wide variety of menus to choose from, including canapes and evening food which did not disappoint. The wines were lovely but the bar also had a broad selection of drinks to meet all tastes.
The only downside is that the day flew by so quickly but no doubt we will be back soon as part of the Glewstone alumni.
A huge thank you to Gary, Amy, Sam and Charles who make the most superb team. If you are looking for a stress-free and unforgettable wedding experience, we would wholeheartedly recommend Glewstone.

We had an absolutely amazing day. The venue was perfect, the food was outstanding, the team at Glewstone looked after everyone so well and the whole day ran like clockwork. It was everything we could have hoped for. We especially wanted to thank our MC, Charles, who did such an amazing job, keeping his cool whilst performing what must be an incredibly stressful role. He was completely unflappable and had a smile on his face the whole time. What a remarkable young man! -

We booked the two night package in December 2023 and have absolutely no regrets!! It was amazing to have our close friends and family be with us the evening before the big day.
A massive thank you for everything throughout the two days!
Amy, thank you for getting back to us so quickly throughout the whole process. It was refreshing to have someone so polite and prompt at all times.
Sam, yourself and Charles were honestly some of the best people we have worked with in any situation. All the way through it seemed as though you all cared how everything was going and it really meant a lot.
We only wish we could do it all again! -
