  The Best Day 😍

  Not only is Gaynes Park a stunning venue, but the hospitality and the way you treated our wedding party and guests was second to none. From the moment that our original wedding was cancelled and we chose Gaynes as our new venue we knew we made a good decision, but the effort and fine detail they went to on the day was just unreal. More than we would or could have expected.
  
  We also want to say a Massive shout out to Chloe who made our entire day run smoothly and wasnjusy so incredible, and also a massive shout out to Donna, who not only helped the guys get ready, but made lunch for our niece and nephew and even helped get our neice in her dress, and then still went above that and helped a desperate Best Man with crying toddler during the ceremony. We truely are so grateful for the day they gave us - it was the best day of our lives and one that we and our family will have in our hearts forever, after everything we have all been through in the last year, we smashed it! Best Venue, Best Team, Best day EVER! would not change a thing! THANK YOU SO MUCH

  A beautiful venue with professional staff!

  We got married at Gaynes Park in October 2023 and would highly recommend the venue - it is absolutely beautiful, whatever the weather with some many different locations for photos and for your guests to enjoy the day.
  
  The catering team were brilliant - everyone commented on how delicious our wedding breakfast was, as well as our canapes! The service was quick and professional. The team were flexible with us choosing between menus and in creating the perfect alternatives to our chosen menu for dietary requirements and children. We also loved the wedding menu tasting event - this was run so well and really helped us to get excited about our wedding at Gaynes Park.
  
  The whole team was very helpful before and on our wedding day but especially our co-ordinator Georgina who was exceptional. She was on hand to help in the morning, making sure we had everything we needed and even helped to get my finishing touches ready so my bridesmaids could wait outside to be surprised. She was there throughout the day in a very subtle way to ensure everything was running smoothly - truly outstanding help and professionalism.
  
  We used their recommended supplier for our flowers - Violets and Velvets - and their Venue Stylist - Mediterranean Occasions - and both were exceptional in the service provided.
  
  Our wedding day was perfect and the beauty of Gaynes Park really helped to ensure this - we can't thank the whole team enough!

  Gaynes Park Made the Worst Time In my Life Worse

  My ex-fiancée cancelled our wedding 3 months before the wedding after I'd given the venue over £10,000. Not only did the venue refuse to refund any money (not even the £3000 for food or the ~£2000 for the optional accommodation). They threatened to charge me £2000 more, and I had to fight it.

  Gaynes Park's reply:

  Hi James, we are genuinely sorry you cancelled your wedding and so close to your booked wedding day just 3 months beforehand. We do recommend all couples take out wedding insurance prior to booking to allow for certain unforeseen circumstances. If you did take out such insurance it would be worthwhile checking their terms and conditions, as you may be entitled to make a claim for your cancellation.
  
  With regard to the separate catering supplier contract, you will need to address your catering payment directly with them as we are unable to comment on other wedding suppliers’ terms and conditions or payments. The same applies to the accommodation. However, we have been notified that they have been in contact with you in September with a resolution.

  Stunning Venue. Wonderful food that everyone is still talking about

  We had the most magical day ever and we’re still on cloud nine. The venue looked absolutely stunning and the photos so far look amazing. Everyone is talking about how exceptional the food was. The day flew by, as we knew it would, but we have so many wonderful memories and a day that neither of us will ever forget (and all for the right reasons).

  Perfect Wedding Venue

  The most perfect wedding venue. Everything went so smoothly from our first meeting to our actual date. Victoria and everyone at the venue were amazing. We cannot thank you enough. The venue is stunning and the fact that you get it all to yourselves is fantastic.

  Amazing venue with top service

  We can praise the team at Gaynes Park enough! They were fantastic from the beginning, our project manager Natasha was just amazing. Really helped and guided us throughout the months, she and the team took care of everything on the day. Took all the weight off our minds so we could just enjoy the day. They went above and beyond to cater for our tailored menu with a fantastic Indian menu (loved by all) and pizzas that the Italians were raving about, Phil is a super chef. The venue itself is stunning so there really isn’t much needed as it speaks for itself. Thanks to everyone there we had a perfect day

  Best day ever

  Natasha was our guardian angel on the day of our wedding and the day went so smoothly! The whole team at Gaynes Park pulled off a faultless day, the venue looked great and is very well maintained, the service was timely and not intrusive, the food received endless compliments from all of the guest, they catered for a mix of cultures. One of the comments from the Italian part of the family: 'the pizza was better than some restaurants in Italy'. We and our guests had a fantastic experience, the Team really listened to our vision and made it happen. We were blown away and would highly recommend Gaynes Park for your big day!

  Shameful Wedding Venue Operator

  “I just want to echo Katie P's comments on the 05/08, we have had a very similar experience to her unfortunately.
  
  We pushed our wedding day back from August 2021 to August 2022. We have had our own enduring-nightmare dealing with Gaynes Park over numerous issues concerning our wedding.
  
  We know many friends who have been so impressed with their own venue & how they’ve dealt with Covid by offering the support & flexibility required to come to a joint solution. Gaynes Park have distanced themselves from us, we only communicate with a third party who is representing the venue. It’s abundantly clear they are putting their own financial interests first before any clients (Clients: any unfortunate couple who went with Gaynes Park throughout Covid)
  
  Gaynes Park have only offered us the option of getting married on a Monday to Wednesday in August 2022 even though we have been invoiced at a substantially higher rate (Sunday wedding). If we had of originally confirmed a Monday – Wednesday wedding we would have saved multiple thousands, yet due to Covid we are now expected to pay a small fortune to get married early in the week.
  
  To compound our frustration, there are 2 Thursday’s available in August 2022. Gaynes Park have informed us that these dates are for new bookings only. It’s a form of profiteering to manoeuvre postponed weddings from 2020 to an undesirable early weekday & expect us to put up with paying the original weekend (Sunday)rate!
  
  The venue has upset numerous couples (do some research online) and it appears, the few couples who managed to negotiate a compromise is those that have sought out legal representation. A few people I reached out to had signed into a non-disclaimer confidentially agreement with the venue (after initially posting negative reviews).
  
  It's a shame it's come to this, but Katie P is 100% correct, Gaynes Park have handled Covid so poorly & I would ask anyone considering getting married at this venue in future, to do some thorough online research prior to committing.

  Thanks for your feedback. As ever we take any comments seriously to learn for any improvements.
  
  During this unprecedented coronavirus pandemic over the last 16-18 months, we have strived and worked tirelessly to endeavour to work with couples fairly and unequivocally to accommodate their weddings effected by the pandemic with their first, second or even third postponements when their weddings have been effected by the UK Govt restrictions.
  
  Weddings in the UK after June 21st 2021 can take place with venue capacities lifted and post 19 July 2021 with NO Government restrictions in England in any form at all. As a result, we have been hosting and celebrating exclusive use weddings day after day, and it has been wonderful to witness the joy and celebrations for these couples marrying and to read their generous and appreciative comments from their wedding day.
  
  Wedding insurance companies will not cover couples to postpone their weddings should they so choose to after 21 June 2021 as there are no Govt restrictions on weddings in the UK.
  
  We understand it has been particularly difficult for couples with family in certain countries overseas.
  
  Where foreign governments have completely closed their borders for any travel to their nationals, we have made exceptional considerations to try and reasonably assist where possible.
  
  We have also installed and offered high quality live streaming to all couples guests who have been effected by the coronavirus for any of their guests unable to attend or indeed anyone they also wish to extend their wedding to be witnessed to.
  
  All the catering staff and venue have loved hearing all the wonderful feedback from the weddings taking place day after day since the restrictions have been lifted, both directly and from posted reviews.
  
  As discussed with you yesterday, if you wish to discuss this further we would be delighted to still call you on Monday as was agreed with you to discuss your upcoming wedding day.
