The Best Day
We got married at Farnham Castle on 27th May and they made our day so special. The venue is absolutely stunning & we were so lucky to have fab weather. Our wedding planner, Jodie, was amazing! She replied to all of my emails/requests so quickly and made everything as simple & easy as possible. On the day, all of the staff were great. So tentative and professional. Jodie handled everything and made my entire vision come to life. The day ran SO smoothly and I think that was purely down to the team knowing exactly what they were doing. We had so many compliments about the food, some guests saying it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding.
The gatehouse is such a perfect place to get ready in & the groom also made use of their new room for him & his groomsmen to get ready. The bridal suite is stunning & it was so nice to have guests stay over and have breakfast together the next morning.

Good staff. Decent food. Abysmal accommodation
I would not recommend this venue to anyone. Loads of hidden charges. We booked accommodation for the night before wedding, and were told we had to have 10 rooms. After persuading people who would not normally have stayed there, in non refundable, and non transferable rooms, we managed to arrange 25 people for the evening meal. One week before the event, the venue informed us, that on top of the £36 to£45 per person, they wanted £900 for room hire!!!!!!! Complete rip off.
The staff and venue are lovely, but stay in the accommodation at your peril. No heating- we were frozen, my husband slept in his clothing. I just didn’t sleep!! No slip mats in the bath, my husband slipped and caught onto the only thing that was there, the shower screen. It fell off the wall, and showered him in glass splinters! He has cuts everywhere! Absolutely awful experience! Just don’t do it!!!!I would not recommend this venue to anyone. Loads of hidden charges. Beautiful Venue, poorly organised
The venue is beautiful, the setting is superb. But sadly we ended up being turned away the day before after being promised we could set up, to be turned away but the lady in charge. Our co ordinator was mortified as she was told we could. The same lady shouted at us when we told her we didn’t want a decoration that wasn’t confirmed in writing with our coordinator, or charged for.
The food was amazing, the views incredible. They try and be flexible but the organisation was so poor, we were chasing them constantly for confirmation. Also having to triple check bills as they were often wrong.
I would say if you love the venue, go for it, be prepared though to do a lot of the heavy lifting and also no support.The venue is beautiful, the setting is superb. What a great day!!
While we were only a small group and very much out of season…
The castle put together a great package for us and worked around all our little quirks and demands!
As for the day itself I just sat back and waited for them to tell me what to do and when. It was really relaxing and everything went according to plan and everyone had a great time - we thought it surpassed our expectations.
Food- fabulous.
Setting - fairytale .
Service- second to none.
We all stayed over and had a great breakfast together the next morning.

A Wonderful Wedding Weekend
We would like to sincerely thank you and the entire staff for the wonderful wedding weekend we held at Farnham Castle on 7th March, 2020.
The entire event was extremely well organised, the food was wonderful and of course the Castle provided a rich and historical setting for the celebrations.
We are still looking back with excitement and fond memories at the many photos and videos share from the day, and our international guests talk about the fantastic time enjoyed by friends and family. The BEST food!

A magical day at Farnham Castle
Words simply cannot describe how much we appreciate everything you did to make our wedding day so special on the 21st December. It was just magical and thank you all so much for embracing our Christmas theme so whole-heartedly. The fact that you took care of everything so effortlessly on the day meant that we could really and truly relax and enjoy every moment. The Castle looked beautiful, the food was spectacular and the guest all commented on how brilliantly run everything was – thank you! And the ’13 days of Christmas’ – what can we say – so brilliant and all credit to you! We can’t speak highly enough of Farnham Castle Weddings. The process and communication was fantastic from day 1 of our planning and the service felt personal. The team replied quickly to our emails and would have the answer to every question under the sun! On our wedding day, we had so many compliments about how the day ran so smoothly. The transitions were seamless and we did not have any worries at all, thanks to the fantastic team. Everything was perfect, the food was outstanding and they ensured we had the best day of our lives.We can’t speak highly enough of Farnham Castle Weddings. Everything was so organised
I am still coming down from the high of the day. I cannot put into words how extremely happy we were with the organisation leading up to and on the day of the event, the attention to detail, and how tentative absolutely every staff member were to us and our guests. In addition the little extra touches like, being handed a champagne after our first dance and having all of our gifts and a bottle of champagne waiting for us in the room! Everyone has got in contact with us, saying how amazing the evening was and how well everything was organised and flowed, honestly cannot thank you and the team enough.I am still coming down from the high of the day. Our Wedding - 24.8.2019
Big thanks to Heather, Dan and Allie for all the hard work they put into making sure our Wedding Day was as amazing as we hoped it would be. They all helped where we needed it without being imposing. The day went seamlessly and at no point we felt stressed. The staff were very accommodating and attentive, the food was amazing, the venue was perfect and exactly how we wanted it to be. At no point we felt like we couldn't go anywhere and everyone made us feel like it was our place which was great. All of our guests have constantly told us how amazing the day, venue, weather, food and drinks were. It's definitely a day we won't forget.Big thanks to Heather, Dan and Allie for all the hard work they put into making sure our Wedding Day was as amazing as we hoped it would be. They all helped where we needed it without being imposing. The day went seamlessly and at no point we felt stressed.
