We couldn’t have picked a better venue than Dodmoor House! Firstly, it goes without saying that the venue looked completely beautiful on the day… despite the rain! But beyond this, the team at Dodmoor were perfect in the entire lead up to our day. They were consistently friendly, helpful and quick to respond from start to finish. They spent lots of time answering all of our queries before we booked with them, and then the many, many queries that come throughout the planning process were answered with speed and always a fully thought out response - never a quick one-line email.
Nothing was ever too much to ask from Dodmoor. Every tiny little detail was thought through, and every time I emailed to ask something that felt a bit silly and insignificant, Dodmoor’s response always made me feel the opposite - they took every query seriously and thought it through properly. The team at Dodmoor are really amazing at what they do, and you can be sure to know that you are in the safest of hands if you book with them!
Our ‘Day in Detail’ meeting was great, too. Kara and Louise came to the meeting having thought through almost every minute of the day - it really was so thorough! They let us know of any potential logistical issues, and had solutions for them too. We left the meeting feeling that everything was taken care of and we didn’t have anything to worry about, which is such a great way to feel when you hear of other couples feeling very stressed out in the weeks before their wedding!
We cannot write this review without also making a special mention to Kara, who was the co-ordinator for our day. Firstly, Kara is just such a lovely person - always positive and enthusiastic about all of our ideas and plans, and just so easy to talk to. Beyond this, though, she is incredible at her job! She made the day run SO smoothly, even though we had a very jam-packed itinerary. We didn’t have to think about ANYTHING on the day, Kara was on top of everything throughout. We felt so lucky to have such an amazing person running our day!
I tend to worry, A LOT, but I can honestly say that I did not worry once when it came to Dodmoor. If you are considering booking with them, please do!Dodmoor House's reply:

The Dodmoor Team really take you by the hand and guide you through the process. They think of literally everything and their attention to detail is second to none.
The venue itself is beautiful and was perfect for a smaller wedding like ours. The barns make the perfect canvas for a rustic but elegant setting in the heart of the Northamptonshire countryside.
They provide a really personalised service to support you to make your vision a reality so that the day feels meaningful and memorable.
The wedding planning and coordination service included in the package was brilliant. The team coordinated with our suppliers and provided detailed itineraries and checklists to ensure that the day ran like clockwork.
All our guests commented on how attentive the staff were, without ever being intrusive, which made for a wonderfully lively yet relaxed atmosphere.

We fell in live with Dodmoor from the first email correspondence we had with them. Knowing the finer details and feeling like all of the staff took the time to find out about us as a couple meant so much to us! Not only is Dodmoor an incredibly beautiful venue the staff make it all the more impressive. Nothing was ever too much trouble, communication through our whole wedding planning was fantastic! On the day everybody was blown away with the attentiveness of staff and attention to details. Everything ran smoothly and we can't thank you all enough! Our day honestly went without a problem and that's because of the sheer amount of planning and direction given by all at Dodmoor. From start to finish Dodmoor House enabled us to have our dream wedding - fun, informal and celebratory. The team were super responsive to all our queries (no question was ever a silly one!), highly professional and ensured that all the small details were thought about and taken care off. We were allocated a brilliant wedding coordinator (Eleanor) - who took care of all the final logistics with all our suppliers, which hugely took the pressure off in the months leading up to the big day. The location is beautiful - if you're looking for a relaxed, barn venue in the country side, Dodmoor House is for you! Could not recommend Dodmoor House enough!Dodmoor House's reply:

Eleanor and the team were amazing from day one.
Gave us confidence from the get go that they would sort everything and the day would be amazing. Made us feel very relaxed.
Gave us a clear list of things to sort and kept in constant contact to ensure everything was sorted promptly.

The most beautiful venue, perfect for smaller weddings. Our day was just magical! All our guests said how stunning the venue looked during the day and night. Service was outstanding the whole time from pre wedding to after the wedding.
A massive shout out to our planner Kara, who completely understood what we wanted for our special day. Thank you Kara!

We couldn't recommend this Venue highly enough. We were so well looked after by Louise, Chloe & the team. The barns are beautiful and the bridal suite was incredible.

If you are considering Dodmoor, stop thinking about it and just book! 100% worth it! All the staff are so friendly, amazing and supportive, nothing was too much trouble. Beci (our wedding coordinator) was simply the best! She and all the team was so quick to respond to emails and phone calls, it really made the process of planning a wedding from Yorkshire a breeze! I can't tell you how relaxed I was on my wedding day, and that was all down to such an amazing team. They had every detail in hand so I didn't have to worry about a thing! Where to start. Dodmoor is stunning on its own, but they are so flexible with supporting your decorative ideas, the candles, fairy lights, barns all look stunning in our photos. The staff are top tier, especially Louise who could t have made us feel more comfortable and looked after. The best day of our lives.Dodmoor House's reply:
