  Terrible Service

  Beautiful venue but unfortunately we were provided with inaccurate information about the costings prior to viewing the venue. We felt completely let down by the sales & marketing executive, Sophie and there was no recognition of how they might attempt to have other potential customers not fall into the same trap. Absolutely shocking.

  Best day of our lives

  My husband and I have picked the Dartmouth House for our wedding, and it was the best day of our lives. The whole Dartmouth House team was a pleasure to work with. Everything was perfectly organised, and they thought of every small detail. The food was very delicious, and of course the venue itself was breathtakingly beautiful. I still cannot stop thinking about the gorgeous staircase, long drawing room and courtyard. All of our guests have told us throughout the whole day how much they were in love with the venue. The team has perfectly prepared each room, and announced our entrance before entering each area. This made the experience even more magical. We will forever remember this day and would like to thank the incredible Dartmouth House Team.

  Winter Wedding at Dartmouth House

  We hosted our wedding last weekend at Dartmouth House. Sophie and the team were an absolute dream to work with. They were super detail oriented and helped to organise every moment of the day, which went perfectly. The food from the cater was great and we received so many compliments from friends and family on the venue and dinner choices. We chose to upgrade wine selections and were super happy we did. The only area that was slightly disappointing were the canapés as we didn't feel this was a great value for money. While they were tasty they were quit small (we chose 4 canapes x 80 guests) and would recommend brining in additional appetisers if you are planning to do a cocktail hour with food before dinner. Otherwise the food and wine were fantastic.
  
  Sophie was so incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the entire process. She allowed us to do a few site visits with vendors to ensure everything on the day would be perfect. Thank you again for all of your help! Would highly recommend this venue.

  Fantastic Venue

  We had our wedding at Dartmouth House recently and it was better than we could have hoped. Beautiful venue. The staff and catering were first class. Our planner Hannah was excellent in helping us.

  Wedding reception

  We had our wedding reception at Dartmouth House last month and it was the perfect day. The staff were highly attentive, the food was delicious and Dartmouth House is the most beautiful setting. We would highly recommend.

  Dartmouth House - Wedding Venue of Dreams

  Dartmouth House was a perfect choice for our wedding. Not only was it absolutely stunning, but the people were an absolute pleasure to work with.
  
  They were incredible with all of our COVID delays - so flexible and understanding. Despite much hardship as we had to move our date several times from 2020, they stuck with us along the way.
  
  The Dartmouth House team was really easy to work with. I did not have a wedding planner, so having so much in-house was extremely helpful for me. They were also very accommodating for any site visits or walk-throughs I needed to do with our suppliers.
  
  They brought a sense of calm and confidence throughout the planning and execution. Much needed for a bride who is stressed about a lot of things!

  Absolutely perfect in every way!

  We had our wedding ceremony at Dartmouth House & what an amazing venue it is! Such a stunningly beautiful backdrop for a wedding. All our guests commented on how lovely it was. Camilla was fantastic, she organised everything to a t! So friendly & nothing was ever too much trouble. She was also very calming for us both when the nerves kicked in on our wedding morning. As we live in York we had to mainly contact Camilla by email, yet everything we asked for she got completely the way we wanted. The staircase was fantastic for wedding photos also. THE STUFF DREAMS ARE MADE OF!

  Amazing venue!

  My wife Sarah and I recently got married at Dartmouth house on the 28th October and we wanted to drop you a note to express how amazing everyone at Dartmouth House was.
  
  Chloe Lemmon was a brilliant events manager for us and made ourselves feel calm and relaxed from first meeting her till the day of the wedding.
  
  She was always easy to contact and very accommodating for any changes or requests we made throughout the planning. She made the whole process smooth and was a real credit to Dartmouth house and your company.
  
  Additionally all the waiting staff were great on the day and the lady in charge of the waiting staff, I think her name was Georgina, was really helpful and a delight to have on the day.
  
  Thanks to you and your team again for making our day so special,
