Fantastic day, well organised and staff friendly
The venue was very flexible with our plans and we were able to decorate and have just what we wanted. We were able to decorate and set the hall up the day before to avoid extra stress the morning of the wedding. We were also able to make small changes to the menu for fussy guests that we had which did not seem a problem at all!
We got married at the St Mary's Church in Culford and walked over to the school for more photos, canapés, arrival drinks and the evening do. We had a 3 course sit down meal, food was lovely and just the right amount. The grounds are absolutely stunning and perfect for photos!
In the evening we had a buffet which was fantastic, plenty for everyone.
Only few things I would say to improve, we were supposed to have tea and coffee after the sit down meal but this did not appear until late evening and also the buffet was not labelled so our guests had no idea what things were - especially things like spring rolls and other pastry filled items - suitable for vegetarians?
However, the venue was very accommodating - for example the photographers wanted to take a few more pictures before they left - the venue was quite happy to hold back on serving our desserts until we were ready. Thank you very much and will definitely recommend this venue!
