  A very special day

  My son and daughter in law were married on Saturday followed by the reception at the golf club.
  From start to finish everything was perfect. Jamie coordinated everything, supported by an efficient, smart and friendly team of staff.
  As there was an event at the club the night before, we could only partially set up ready for the reception, which slightly concerned me, but when we all arrived, it looked beautiful. Everything was done just as we would have done and we were welcomed by two smiling ladies with Pimms!
  The three course meal was outstanding in quality and quantity; soup or bruschetta, chicken roast or salmon and veg in white wine sauce, Eton mess or toffee apple crumble. Could not have been better - in fact we were so satisfied, those if us who were there all day, barely touched the evening buffet.
  I can not recommend this venue enough to anyone wanting a venue with character, comfort, beautiful outside space and more.

  Our dream day come true!

  From the moment we first viewed this venue, we knew this would be the only place we could imagine spending our most special day. The whole entire team were fantastic and we really did have a perfect day. We haven’t been able to stop thinking about it, every single detail was better than we could’ve imagined and we look back on it with the fondest of memories as we always will. Honestly we can’t thank the staff enough, all of our guests had commented on how excellent the service was and it’s because the time was taken to get to know us and our families/friends. A truly personal and professional team. The food was incredible, as always at the Cave, and it was the best day of our lives. Thank you Megan for seeing our vision, we really did get to live out our dream day.

  Wedding day 2022

  We got married here on Thursday 7th April and the staff both front of house and back of house did a brilliant job. They went above and beyond and made our day run smoothly. Thank you to Yas, Abbie and Megan for helping and planning our wedding and making it the day we have always dreamt of.
  
  The venue is beautiful and lovely for a wedding. We wanted to get married outside but due to it being very windy we got married inside and it was just as beautiful. The marquee where the wedding breakfast and evening reception was was the perfect size for the amount of guests we had.
  
  The food was so tasty. Especially the mains. All guests enjoyed the food. And All guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
  
  The front of house staff were very attentive and always there if you needed anything.
  
  The rooms were lovely and the beds so comfy. The pool, sauna and steam room is very relaxing and lovely to be in. You can even order drinks to here too.
  
  I couldn’t fault my stay at all. It was absolutely fantastic and i highly recommend booking your wedding here or any event

  Such an amazing venue!

  Thank you so much to everyone at The Cave Hotel and Golf Resort for making our wedding such a magical day. The staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was absolutely perfect. A huge special thank you to Maddie for being there every step of the way from booking to the big day! We were absolutely delighted with the change of area to the marquee, having the private space for our guests only was just amazing! It is clear that a lot of time, effort and love has gone into making the marquee a perfect venue for the wedding breakfast and evening reception. We really cannot fault anything about how they managed our day, even with the last minute change to an indoor ceremony due to inclement weather! The bridal suite was the perfect place to unwind after a busy day and we look forward to returning for our first anniversary.

  lovely venue

  My daughters wedding was perfect

  Dear Sue, words cannot express how grateful we are to you and all your team at Boughton for making our daughters wedding so special, from the first day we sat with you to discuss details, right up to the moment they left for their honeymoon in the evening, everything was carried out with kindness, care and professionalism. We have had so many lovely comments from their guests, about the food, how lovely the staff were, how pretty the room looked.

  Magnificent food

  On behalf of myself and all my family I would like to thank you for the magnificent lunch and afternoon tea you and your staff provided for our celebrations. The food and wine were delicious and your attention to detail was to be commended, thank you to all it just added to what was a memorable occasion.
