Woodstock was only the second venue we viewed, having made 8 bookings straight after we got engaged in April 2023. After viewing Woodstock, we instantly knew it was the venue for us and we cancelled all our other appointments the next day. We had read lots of reviews about Woodstock and how wonderful Janice and the team there are and everyone could not have been more right! From the day we booked to the day we got married, communication was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. We visited the venue a few times including for our engagement shoot with our photographer and we fell in love with it more every time we went there. We got married on 15th February 2024 and it was the day of our dreams. Janice and the team ran the day so perfectly and everyone commented on how stunning the place looked. There is so much included in the venue hire and the additional decor we provided was incorporated so beautifully. Woodstock was the perfect venue for our style of wedding and suited our personalities so well. Everything came together so beautifully and Janice and the team attended to the every need of us and our guests. All our vendors (most who had never been there before) were wowed by both the venue and the team and everyone could not speak highly enough about the incredibly high standards of service. We really don't have the words to express how delighted we are that we chose Woodstock for our special day and we cannot thank Janice and the team enough for everything they have done for us. Anyone looking for a stunning venue in Yorkshire with the best team around should absolutely choose Woodstock for their special day because it really is the perfect space with the perfect people. We wish we would do it all over again!

Where to start! The venue is gorgeous, the food by F4D was amazing and Janice was brilliant from start to finish. We booked this venue back in 2018 when the barn and stables were yet to be converted. Although it wasn’t much to look at at the time, we loved Janice straight away and her vision of what the venue would be once completed. We originally booked for 2020, then it got moved twice due to covid restrictions but we finally got married at Woodstock on 2nd April 2022 and had an amazing day! Janice was incredibly helpful throughout, arranging the new dates and handling the move of our wedding smoothly both times. You can contact her anytime, she’s always there to answer any questions and she’s there on the day to make sure everything runs perfectly. We had the most amazing day and wouldn’t change a thing. If you book with Janice at Woodstock you will not regret it! The cocktail bar was a big hit and our guests raved about the venue and food. Such a beautiful place in a lovely area close to York city centre. We could not recommend this venue more!

We knew the moment we went to visit this venue that it was the one for us. Nothing was too much trouble for Janice and her team. She was always quick to answer all my questions and would help keep me calm throughout the entire COVID fiasco. The day was as we imagined and I can't express my thanks to them enough. Beautiful modern, barn venue with a courtyard to die for, separate area for cocktails close to York but in a location that makes you feel lost in the countryside. My only wish is that we could do it all over again.

Janice and the team was fantastic from the word go, Janice made the wedding planning from Australia an absolute breeze and the day was perfect, from planning with timing, other contractors, logistics, and overall professionalism.

As for the Venue it is amazing ! The location is perfect, and you wouldn’t expect to be so close to the centre of York, with the natural views and setting.

The venue has a 4 luxurious rooms to stay in with large comfy beds and a mini bar stocked with goods for that “what just happened“ drink whilst you let it all sink in. Has two bridal rooms one larger than the other for larger parties, the rooms have been perfectly planned with plenty of mirrors, comfy chairs, and overall space to get ready. A tiki bar for cocktails, jackets and coat storage.

The barn itself is a work of art with huge tall ceilings, grand light fixtures, timber floor and walls throughout with a modern rustic feel.

Me and my wife was stunned by how beautiful our day was and would re live it 100 times over thank you Janice and the team for everything you did ❤️

Couldn’t recommend this beautiful venue enough, Kalle & I got married at Woodstock on the 2nd October and it was simply perfect!
Janice, Daisy and the rest of the team was amazing and made everything so perfect. Nothing was too much to ask of them.
From meeting Janice two years ago, to our big day last week she has been nothing but helpful and supportive throughout the whole process.
The venue looked stunning and the amount of compliments we have received from our guests has been massive.
We wish we could do it all over again.

Woodstock Wedding Venue York provided the perfect wedding for my Daughter Coralie. They went far beyond expectations The wedding ceremony itself, was magical, everything my daughter wanted and more. The catering was top class, the entertainment second to none, the cocktail bar a really good addition to the main bar and dance floor. I couldnt recommend this place more. I don't even know where to start with this review as I could just type forever about Woodstock. The moment me and my new Husband visited for the first time in July 2020 we knew it was the one for us straight away and had booked our Wedding day within hours of visiting. The venue itself it a perfect rustic venue just out of York but makes you feel like your in your own little paradise. There is nothing that Janice hasn't thought about. I think every single guest at our Wedding said how amazing it was. The whole team were fabulous and nothing was too much trouble. Now for Janice who designed every part of Woodstock, this lady is truly something special and we will remember her so fondly for making our Wedding day what it was forever. She kept me calm though out the whole process and was always at the end of he phone to answer any questions I had. On the day she is always one step ahead and makes sure everything goes without a hitch. I am sad Janice won't be part of our lives anymore. This venue is amazing with such a high standard and everything you need for a wedding. The staff are all very welcoming and helpful with anything you need. The gem of the venue is Janice! She knows exactly what to do to make sure the day runs smoothly and to ensure you enjoy your big day. I will be recommending this to anyone and everyone who needs a venue for their wedding, totally perfect in every way

We had our wedding at Woodstock two weeks ago and I can't explain how great this venue is. The location, barn and facilities available are absolutely amazing.
To top it off, Janice, Bradley and the rest of her team are incredible! We organised our wedding from Hong Kong, and they were so supportive, helpful and couldn't do enough for us.
We had the best ever day, and we can't thank Woodstock enough for helping us have the most amazing wedding.

Wow, where to start...Woodstock Weddings and Events is everything it promises to be and even more! After meeting Janice in September '18, when there was an empty barn and some lovely drawings, I had complete faith in her plans and some very high expectations and she absolutely delivered. Janice was always at the end of an email to answer any queries no matter how small or silly they may have been and she was always amazingly helpful! Janice made the best choice in using F4D for the catering and we were really happy with the service we received from them! On the day everything ran so smoothly (or from what we saw it did) and even though it rained most of the day (my biggest worry) Janice and the team made sure that the rain damped no ones spirits and it had no impact on our day whatsoever!
An extra special thank you has to go to Bradley and the amazing bar staff - you were so professional and attentive and so many guest commented on how great you all were! People were loving Freddie's cocktails in the Stables Bar!
I could go on but really just need to say a huge thank you to everyone at Woodstock - you really did create the most magical day of our lives!
