A day I’ll never forget!
Mark, Kim and Andy were very welcoming and were very accommodating! All were lovely and nothing was a issue! The venue is lovely as well as the gardens.
The wedding breakfast went on a little too long and we had guests waiting for food.
Music for the ceremony was a little behind but overall was such a perfect day! We both loved every second!

Dear The Mill House Team,
Firstly, we would like to say a huge, massive thank you for allowing us to have our Wedding at your venue on 05/08/23. The venue is absolutely stunning and everything is well laid out to accommodate all weathers!
Secondly, we would like to thank the team and all the staff at the venue on our special day. Everyone worked tirelessly to make sure the wedding ran as planned, making sure all guests were accommodated for and checking in to make sure everyone was happy.
Lastly, we want to thank the catering staff for the absolutely outstanding food. From what we could see, all plates were emptied and everyone since has commented on the amazing food, right from the canapés, to the wedding breakfast and the buffet in the evening.
Throughout the entire 18 months of planning the wedding, the team at The Mill House have been incredibly accommodating, responding to emails promptly, answering any questions we had and being very thorough during all our Wedding meetings.
We couldn’t recommend The Mill House highly enough for providing the Wedding of our dreams.

The most incredible venue
The Mill House Hotel in Swallowfield was the most incredible venue for our wedding.
The staff went above and beyond, nothing was too much trouble and i couldnt recommend them enough.
They were so friendly and helpful and made the wedding planning experience stress free.
We opted for long tables and no seating plan as didnt have a sit down meal, they helped us with suppliers for tables which made it so much easier as we wouldnt have known where to start.
We had the donuts delivered the day before and they kept them in the kitchen for us and put them out in the evening as we didnt have a cake.
On the day of the wedding there was potential rain so the staff kept an eye on the weather and didnt set up the chairs outside until the last minute, luckily we had no rain.
All staff were amazing and i couldnt fault anything at all.
It was the most incredible day and i have the best memories.
The rooms were beautifully laid out and comfy and the breakfast the next day was just what we needed.
The inhouse DJ was great. He let us create a playlist so he knew the type of music we liked, he asked us who we didnt want to play and he made sure that even if it was requested it wasnt played.
I would recommend this venue to anyone, it was beautiful with the grounds being looked after all year round and the staff helping to make it a day to remember

We can thoroughly recommend The Mill House Swallowfield, as a fantastic marriage venue.
The venue is full of character, with very well kept gardens, which provide lots of great photo opportunities.
The marquee provides the perfect space for the wedding breakfast and evening disco.
All the staff are so friendly and helpful, going above and beyond from planning every detail of the great day with you, and on the day they discretely lead you through each part, from the ceremony, the wedding breakfast to the cutting of the cake.

We booked our wedding in 8 months and they were so helpful gave us a timeline of things. We got to pay over 6 months and it was on a deal for spring
Prefert perfect perfect! Everything about this venue is amazing and I really enjoyed the whole process from viewing to the day! They took such good care of me and my groom on the day and leading up. Helpful for giving us options about our day and even listening to requests of our own. I want to shout out every person in that hotel that made our day special!

Best Decision Ever
We had our wedding on 13.01.23 and it was the best decision ever. Everyone we spoke to was friendly, helpful and professional. Chris was our Master of Ceremonies and he was absolutely fantastic. He ensured our day went perfectly, and I can’t thank him enough. Kate was also amazing throughout the whole process, with my million questions, she was always quick to respond.

Absolutely beautiful venue and amazing and helpful staff.
We had our wedding reception at The Mill House in December 2022 and they were absolutely amazing. It was booked 2 years in advance, but had to get rescheduled due to a surprise pregnancy, but nothing was too much for them and they happily helped change everything.
They were very quick to respond to calls and emails and always helped in any way they could.
On the day of the wedding, the whole day couldn't have gone any smoother and the food was delicious. The father of the bride had arranged many surprises for the day, which the staff did a great job of keeping a secret and made the transitions smooth with no-one having any clues.
So many guests commented on how beautiful the whole venue was, the bedrooms, the marquee and the garden. We had some stunning photos with all the lights and river in the background.
We couldn't thank all the staff enough for helping make our day the best day ever.

Put your trust in the Mill House!
My husband and I got married at the Mill House on the 26th June and it was nothing short of incredible. Mark and Kim are absolutely wonderful, professional and went above and beyond to make our day amazing. They are supported by an amazing team of staff, from our wedding planners - Jo, Rachael and Emma, to the bar and waiting staff, especially Andy and Chris!
The team made our guests feel so welcome, and everyone said what an incredible and beautiful venue it was. The rooms are comfortable and inviting, and the food is amazing!! Every meal we have had has been fantastic and we can’t wait to come back for more in the future.
Planning a wedding is stressful, planning a wedding in a pandemic is even harder! But the team at The Mill House made everything easier. They were always on hand to answer questions and offer reassurance (even helping us source a Gazebo to put over the ceremony area in case of rain) and we are so happy we went with them for our wedding. Incredible from start to finish
Our special day at The Mill House was so memorable. This was thanks to the fantastic service provided by Mark and Kim. I cannot thank them enough for their attention to detail and efficiency on the day. My grandma was well looked after and Mark kept the cups of tea coming for her which was lovely. Everything ran smoothly and the food was out of this world amazing. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and their stay at The Mill House. The breakfast the next day was fantastic too and I am so so pleased we chose The Mill House for our special day. We will never forget it.

Simply perfect!
We held our wedding at The Mill House last October during quite uncertain times thanks to Covid.
We booked at quite short notice and found Mark and Kim to be professional, experienced and helpful throughout the planning. Cost was very reasonably priced and no hidden extras.
On the big day they were supportive and could not have looked after us and our guests any better. Nothing was too much trouble, we felt really looked after.
We felt comfortable and confident throughout the day and our day felt intimate and special. We had the 3 course wedding breakfast and the food was absolutely delicious. Everybody enjoyed the meal.
We spent the night at the hotel as did a few of our family. Rooms and beds were comfortable and clean.
We highly recommend The Mill House Hotel for a wedding, its a beautiful place inside and out and Mark and Kim helped us have exactly the day we wanted.

A wonderful venue for a truly special day
We would not hesitate in recommending The Mill House as a wedding venue for your special day. The staff are brilliant, nothing is too much trouble and they go out of their way to do everything they can for you and take the worry out of the day. The beautiful building and garden create fantastic photo opportunities, and the outside ceremony in the Cedar Pavilion was really special. And last, but not least, the food and wine is absolutely delicious and was enjoyed immensely by all.

Our wedding 14/10/23
We are very greatful to Kate, Mark and Emma at The Mill House Hotel. I contacted them on the 28/06/23 to get married on the 14/10/23 due to personal circumstances and they understandstood our situation and helped us in every way they could to support is and make our day special.
We planned on having our wedding outside but as the weather was so hit as miss with days coming up to the wedding, they set up inside just incase. Luckily we could still get married outside in their beautiful garden. We were so happy.
We honestly can’t recommend this venue enough - a beautiful venue with a stunning garden, friendly staff and amazing food. What more could you want ☺️
