We got married this year at Knowsley Hall and it was undoubtedly the best day of our lives.
From our initial tour of the venue to the day itself, it was nothing short of perfect.
Our guests were blown away with the grandeur of Knowsley Hall and it’s history, their expressions and remarks made the day even more special.
Nothing was too much trouble for the amazing staff at Knowsley Hall. They treated us like Royalty from the moment we arrived, making sure we had everything we needed but blended into the crowds to ensure we still had the best time with our friends and family throughout the night.
Our wedding co ordinator Niall was always just a call or email away during the planning process. Some days I spoke to him more than by own Husband to be! He never rushed me and always took the time to listen to what we wanted. The wedding day itself was no different. Niall was never far away and he even helped to calm my nerves as I stood with my Father before entering the ceremony. He was professional and reassuring, we can not thank him enough.
Everything about Knowsley Hall is impressive. The grounds, the decor, the staff, the food, the accommodation. It was all truly exceptional. We wish we could do it all again.
Knowsley Hall is more than just a venue to us. We left as Husband and Wife, but we left a piece of our hearts at the Hall. We hope to return one day 🤍

When we got engaged in September 2021, I knew there was a huge chance we’d book this venue. It ended up being the only place we viewed. I fell in love as soon as we went up the driveway for a private viewing. What sealed the deal so quickly was the quality of the information and the transparency of prices. There is no POA or hidden costs here, you get exactly what they tell you in your package and all extras are extremely reasonable.
The build up to the big day was extremely chilled, we visited several opening evenings and waited for our date to approach. Communication was only when necessary unless I had questions, and ramped up in the last 6 months.
Niall, Megan and all the other staff who looked after us went above and beyond and offered advice if needed, but never ever over stepped anywhere!
Our day itself was beyond perfect, everything we hoped for and more. Everyone was in awe of the venue and the totally private hire was so special! The highlights were the food and the service! We cannot thank Knowsley hall enough for making our special day so PERFECT! Knowsley was the only venue we actually looked at when looking for our wedding - we knew from the start the kind of venue we were looking for and as soon as we stepped into the grounds we knew this was the perfect place. From the start of wedding planning to our wedding day they were absolutely fantastic and went above & beyond to make sure everything was as we asked. On our wedding day everything flowed, Nial was an actual dream & I cannot thank him personally enough as I did not have any doubts or worry the entire day everything was just unbelievably organised and I wish we could go back & relive the most amazing day. Thankyou so so much to all the staff and if your looking for an unbelievable stately home wedding which will be breathtaking then this is the venue for you! x

We fell in love with Knowsley Hall the minute we arrived for our first visit.
The venue is exceptionally beautiful and exudes a grandeur and elegance which is surpassed by none in the area.
The staff are so knowledgeable, kind and helpful. Every detail is well thought of and they go out of their way to make your day special in every way.
The food is top notch and no matter which option you choose from their menu, it is quite impressive.
I am vegetarian and the chef prepared a lovely vegetarian option for me and a handful of my guests. We stayed the night before the wedding. The dinner the night before and the breakfast on the day of the wedding was gorgeous. We got so many complements from all our guests on the beauty of the venue, the food and how every little detail was so well managed.
We found the fact that they had their own chef and also offered evening entertainment really helpful as it meant that we had to do less arranging and co-ordinating.
All in all, we had the most spectacular wedding and it is thanks to the team at Knowsley!

I’ll be honest, Knowsley Hall was not our first choice, we had booked a place close by on the Wirral but was cancelled due to a fire. My parents always had reservations with our first choice due to the constant lack of transparency and communication. From the moment I looked at Knowsley hall on an evening open day the staff couldn’t be more helpful and attentive and through the whole process they couldn’t do enough for us and planning was a breeze. Nothing was too much trouble and there was always prompt communication and replies to emails. We couldn’t believe the contrast in styles to the way management handled everything compared to our first venue. The day was wonderful , everything we could have imagined and more. Would recommend Knowsley hall in a heart beat and it should have been our first choice all along! The accommodation was beautiful and food was exceptional.

The day was perfect from start to finish, everything was so effortless we didn’t have to worry about a thing. It’s the dream location all are wedding photos are amazing with breathtaking backdrops. They have the perfect upmost professional team working there! The team are so organised they only do weddings so everything is meticulously planned and executed without you having to worry about a thing. There is quite a lot off things included in the price that are add ons at most wedding places and nothings to much for them. Thanks

Knowsley Hall is just the most amazing wedding venue! The hall itself is impeccable, so beautiful and full of history that it needs next to nothing doing to it to turn it in to a beautiful setting for a wedding, both inside and outside. We really didn’t want a venue that utilised the same room for the ceremony, breakfast and evening reception and therefore the set up of Knowsley worked perfectly. The day flowed so naturally and there was enough room for our guests without feeling too spread out across different areas. Now for the best part - the staff! From the start the staff could not do enough for us. They helped us plan, went through an extremely detailed pre-wedding checklist to help ensure our day was exactly how we wanted it. On the day the team went over and above, anticipating our needs, providing so much support to our elderly, less mobile guests and doing everything they could to make sure we had the most special day. Our wedding coordinator, Jason, also deserves a special mention for all he did for us! Thank you so much to Knowsley for the best day of our lives.

I don't even know where to begin? From the first drive down the drive way and when you turn the corner to the hall, WOW!

When I was younger and heard about Knowsley Hall and it being on my doorstep, I said to myself, I will get married there one day and luckily enough, my now husband fell in love with the venue just as much as I did. When we viewed it together, we had Goosebumps. We attended multiple opening days and evenings with friends & family (that many that the staff knew who I was!) purely because, how can you ever get enough of visiting such a beautiful place?

From sorting contracts with Viv, to speaking to Jason and then our co-ordinators Matt & Niall, we cannot thank all of the staff enough. The organisation blew us away. When we attended our menu tasting with Matt and Head Chef, Gareth, we knew we were in great, professional hands, all correspondence in a specific folder for our wedding made my organised ways very happy.

The staff, they cannot do enough for you. I read this in many reviews before our day and we honestly do not have enough words for the service provided. Every single member of staff were professional, attentive and also everyone has commented how they were made to feel, that the staff wanted to get to know each person and attend to their requirements/needs. We honestly felt like royalty from the welcome from Matt stood on the steps with our glasses of fizz, to the welcome reception, the top table, our private canapés, the night time and the residents room.

The whole day could not have went anymore perfect, It was streamlined to perfection. Everyone loved that the drinks reception was outside, the wedding breakfast in the state dining room and then the evening in the Stucco Ballroom (and use of all rooms in the hall). We have had many people say that they loved that there was the use of multiple rooms as in other venues you are shoved to other rooms to complete turnarounds and this was not the case. This enabled everyone to enjoy the wedding breakfast which was more formal and when they entered the ballroom, it instantly felt like party time.

The food?! WOW!! From the menu tasting, to the actual day, it is genuinely incredible. Gareth and his team are so passionate and rightly so.

The grounds are beautiful and you just know how much pride is taken in maintaining it.

We have had so many of our guests say it is the best wedding they have ever been too, including our DJ who said he has never had a crowed with so much energy as ours did!

We cannot wait to come back to the hall in our married life and wish we could do our day all over again. We cannot thank every member of staff enough for ensuring we had the most perfect wedding of our dreams. Thank you SO much Knowsley Hall, from the new Mr & Mrs Dillon!

The staff at The Hall are absolutely amazing & made us feel so welcome & special on our big day! The Hall was spectacular and made our day the most magical, perfect day of our lives! I can’t recommend Knowsley Hall enough!

The grounds and hall are superb and clearly the main selling point when looking for an amazing venue. The venue is an experience in itself, exquisite decor and 5*luxury.
Howvever, the shining stars of getting married at Knowsley Hall are the staff. They are phenomenal. From day 1 of looking round, dealing with the absolute professionals that dealt with money and communication to the events coordinator and his team on the day, I couldn't fault a single thing. They honestly made my day special. They clearly love their jobs and it shows in every aspect. The service from the minute my guests walked in was spot on. Every person who attended my day commented on it, nothing was too much trouble for them.
I think about my day everyday and haven't got a single thing I would change when it comes to making the decision to let Knowsley Hall host it. 100% recommend it to anyone and I'm hoping to 1 day experience it from a guests point of view.

We had the most amazing day from start finish, all of ours guests and suppliers who hadn’t worked at Knowsley before commented on how amazing the venue was. The staff were so friendly and helpful, every single one of them went out of their way to make our day perfect, including the wait staff who provided an endless supply of ‘ketchups in a pot’ which our 2 year old was amazed by. They got to know us, advised us on the best way to do things to help our day run smoothly and accommodated every request. We had full use of the venue from 8am on the day of our wedding, which meant our photographer and videographer were able to capture the most perfect pictures of our special venue. Before our wedding day, we were regularly in communication with Niall, Jason and Megan, they were always quick to reply and answer our questions big or small. I dropped off my wedding dress a few days before the wedding and despite hosting other events in the mean time, my dress was kept safe in a locked room along with lots of other supplies we left with staff. Although we had hired a company to dress the venue, we had some personal touches to add, the staff at Knowsley followed our requests to the letter and everything looked better than we could have imagined. On the day, guests who had travelled to attend the wedding arrived early and were made to feel very welcome. Guests never had an empty glass or plate and the food was perfect. During our evening reception, staff made sure there was never a wait at the bar, there was plenty of space for people who wanted to escape the music and staff were very attentive ensuring our older guests had cups of tea and coffee. Once everyone had left, the guests who were staying at the venue were served drinks to the residents lounge and despite it being late, they were always happy to help. The bridal suite and guest rooms were perfect and kept to the highest standard, breakfast the next morning was great and by the time we had all made it downstairs, no one wanted to leave! We had the most amazing time and couldn’t recommend Knowsley hall enough. I can’t wait to go back and stay during their upcoming events. Thank you to all the staff who helped make our day perfect ! Knowsley Hall was our venue of choice, having visited several others in the Merseyside area. The scale and grandeur of the Hall made it an easy choice for us, as was the fact that it was, perhaps surprisingly, not the most expensive venue in the local area in terms of its base price for a wedding in March.
From our initial contact with Bianca to our detailed planning with Niall and Megan, we felt both felt we were in safe hands in the months and weeks leading to the wedding. It's important to us that the experience of the events staff shines through both before and during the big day, and we are happy to say that it did. Small matters that a young couple may not have considered are highlighted in the planning stage to enable the day to run smoothly without interruption or disturbance.
We cannot say that there weren't a couple of hiccups along the way, mostly in the communication of what was and wasn't included in our package. But it's worth bearing in mind that the planning of a wedding is usually a months- or year-long process, and small hiccups are liable to happen.
We went with Knowsley's recommended vendors too, who we met during one of their open evenings, and we are glad to say they were equally professional and delivered spectacularly.
Our experience was one of happiness that will stay with us for the rest of our lives. As far as our guests are concerned, we had many comments that this was the best wedding they've ever been to, thanks, in no small part, to the splendor of the venue. We would recommend Knowsley Hall to any couple willing to pull out all the stops to achieving their dream wedding.

I’m not even sure where to start with this so I will start by saying that everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish!

We viewed several venues and we knew straight away from driving up the drive that Knowsley Hall was the one for us. The venue is just so stunning, we were in complete awe - this doesn’t go away, every time I drove up that drive towards the Hall I was in amazement.

Everything leading up to the day was so seamless, fantastic communication from Niall, Emma and Megan made everything so easy - nothing was too much trouble and they took all of the stress out of it.

On the day, we were looked after by Megan and Adam and they were just fantastic - their attention to detail was second to none - they didn’t miss a thing and were on the ball all day.

Dan, Joseph and Claire were also fantastic, they were so warm and personable that many of our guests commented on how excellent all of the staff were.

Alex - wow. The food was just incredible! We had almost EVERYONE comment on how good the food was. The beef was the best beef I have ever had. It was just exceptional. And the calamari & watermelon canapé was just incredible!

This review will not do any justice to just how good each and every one of the staff at Knowsley Hall were, you made our day just unforgettable and I would not hesitate to recommend you to anybody.

What an incredible venue and absolutely brilliant staff and service! My husband and i could not be more thrilled with our entire wedding day (and night and next morning!!) and the unbelievable team at knowsley hall. From our initial viewing, countless emails and phone calls throughout the year, to our menu tasting, details meeting, and last minute changes the week before, nothing was too much or too little for them to handle. I had absolutely no stress the day-of and their attention to detail was so above and beyond what i ever could have imagined!
