Situated on the highest point of Richmond Park, London, is the beautiful grade II listed Pembroke Lodge. One of the city’s most popular wedding venues, this site has 11 acres of landscaped grounds, stunning views, and over 50 years of experience in hosting wonderful weddings.
Facilities and Capacity
Pembroke Lodge makes the rather impressive claim of being the only wedding venue situated within a London Royal Park. Richmond Park is the largest Royal Park and the tranquil space is home to around 650 deer; as you wander the park you’ll feel a million miles from the bustling and vibrant city nearby. The Lodge itself boasts an impressive frontage, sure to impress guests as soon as they arrive, as well as a light and airy interior. Licensed for civil ceremonies, you can say your vows in The Belvedere, a light-filled and neutral space that lends itself perfectly to any colour scheme or style. The space can accommodate up to 140 guests for your ceremony. The Russell Suite is also licensed for civil ceremonies and is the ideal choice for smaller weddings of up to 70 guests. The room features large period style windows, classic portraits and a stunning marble fireplace. You also have the option to marry outside on the Belvedere Terrace. Looking out onto acres of spectacular grounds, this is a truly romantic spot to say ‘I do’. The terrace is also the ideal place to pop a cork and begin celebrating your marriage, with an elegant drinks reception. As guests mingle and enjoy the views you can slip away to capture some photographs within the park. Your photographs are your lasting memory of the wedding and therefore form an important part of your day. The view from King Henry’s mound within the gardens, is the only view in London that is protected by an Act of Parliament, what better backdrop for your pictures?

An incredible wedding venue
We had our wedding at Pembroke Lodge on 12 May 2023 and it was incredible. The views are gorgeous and the photo opportunities are endless with beautiful floral and green surroundings. The team were super responsive throughout the process which is really reassuring and helpful when planning a wedding, and Nelson who ran the day was just fantastic. Every single detail was thought of and they run a really slick operation. This is essential as it meant I had a lot less to think about! They put me and my partner at ease throughout. Fabulous day!
A huge thank you to the Pembroke Lodge team! from start to finish they have looked after us, dealing with multiple changes, a variety of allergy and food requests nothing was to much trouble. Everyone enjoyed themselves and have commented on how well run and efficient the day went and that is down to everyone involved. A big thank you to Robert and his team for keeping us on track, the food was delicious and we had a wonderful day!

Rain or Shine, Pembroke Lodge Delivered an Unforgettable Wedding Experience!
We wanted to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for the exceptional service and unforgettable experience we had at Pembroke Lodge during our wedding celebration on Thursday, 28th March 2024.
From the moment we stepped foot into the venue, on a rainy Thursday, we knew it was the perfect place for our special day (despite the weather). The ambiance was enchanting, the surroundings breath taking, and every detail was meticulously attended to. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our wedding was flawless, and for that, we are truly grateful. They took an eclectic mix of Nationalities in their stride, and were flexible to changing demands on the day even when some of the guests making the requests spoke little to no English.
We were particularly impressed by the dedication and attentiveness of the staff team led on the day by the wonderful Nelson. They were not only professional but also warm and accommodating, making us feel like we were in capable hands throughout the entire planning process and on the day itself. Their commitment to excellence truly made our wedding day stress-free and allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the joy of the moment.
The feedback from our guests has been overwhelmingly positive, with many commenting on the beauty of the venue and the impeccable service they received, and stating that it was the best wedding they had ever attended. It's clear that the team's hard work and dedication made a lasting impression on everyone who attended.

They made everything so easy!
We thoroughly recommend Pembroke Lodge as a wedding venue. The events team were simply fantastic - they made everything so easy and stress free for us while we were planning our wedding. Nelson and Emma in particular were superb. They ensured all our questions were answered in the preparation phase and eased on-the-day nerves by executing all our requests with perfection and professionalism. Thank you Pembroke Lodge!

Perfection
Our daughter got married at St Andrew’s Church, Ham Common, so The Belvedere Suite at Pembroke Lodge was the perfect location at which to host the Reception that followed
From the moment we first viewed the venue, some 15 months earlier, to collecting the decorations we had provided the morning after the wedding, I honestly could not fault a thing & we are some very picky people!
The whole team at Pembroke simply could not do enough to help & accommodate our needs ensuring an absolutely perfect day
I don’t know if they also have some ‘special contacts’ as we also enjoyed incredible weather! Considering 2023 was somewhat lacking in that department, we were so fortunate that on Friday 6 October the sun shone for us As a result, the drinks reception on the terrace was, as one guest remarked, ‘like being in the Med’ & the views … just wow!
We decided to increase the number of canapés instead of having a starter - such a great selection - and the main meals were also delicious, commented on by all.
The ‘Desert Canapés’ also went down a treat providing a choice whilst enabling guests to also swop around which was fun & again proved a talking point. I would really recommend these as it’s difficult to find a one dessert that fits all.
But although the location, the venue & the food were all excellent, it is the staff who are the real stars of the show
Emma, Nelson & all the other support staff - we simply cannot thank you enough for all your hard work, your endless patience & most importantly letting it be a truly individual event (unlike so many wedding venues where you are expected to fit into their ‘pre-determined wedding box’!)
Perfect & magical are the two words used most by our guests to describe the day & I couldn’t disagree
In fact given the chance of a ‘do over’ I honestly wouldn’t change a thing … and there’s not often in life when you can say that!

The perfect day
The first time we visited Pembroke Lodge, we knew it was something special & this was before meeting the team!
With its beautiful surroundings, building & backdrop, it really is the perfect setting for a perfect day.
We used the downstairs room & had access to the amazing terrace which, paired with sunshine & warmth, we couldn’t have asked for anything more.
Nelson, Emma & their team were absolutely wonderful. Being a bit…. Let’s say specific when it came to the wedding (I can’t even tell you how many spreadsheets I had during the whole planning process), Nelson & Emma couldn’t have done more to do everything in their power to give us exactly what we wanted & needed as well as exactly the right advice when required.
Emma answered so many (too many!) of my emails so expertly & quickly with nothing being too much of a problem.
The day itself went so smoothly I was pinching myself, everything I went to check on the status of, Nelson had already dealt with & in the most discreet way possible.
The food was absolutely delicious & everybody is still raving about it! From the canapés to the dessert.
I couldn’t recommend Pembroke Lodge & it’s staff more highly, they deserve every single 5 star review that they have earned.
We can’t wait to continue being able to return & visit our most special place.

Wonderful wedding venue
Ben and I had a magical wedding day at Pembroke Lodge on the 29th September 2023. The venue is stunning, the food exceptional and the staff were always very helpful. Robert in particular helped make our wedding day even more special than I ever hoped. We’d highly recommend Pembroke Lodge.

Wonderful venue
Pembroke Lodge was an amazing venue for our wedding. The location is stunning and the staff were kind and helpful. We were given detailed instructions so everything went smoothly. Excellent value for money as well. We would definitely recommend this venue for London weddings!

Beautiful venue and great team behind it!
When we first visited Pembroke Lodge in 2019, we immediately thought it would be a stunning place to get married. Little did we know that in August 2023, that would become a reality in the Belvedere Suite!
We could not have been any happier with our choice. The backroom team were incredibly helpful, making the booking process simple and always being on hand to promptly respond to our queries. Our venue manager Robert was terrific – he kept the show on the road all day without our guests realising he was there, which is the mark of someone doing their job perfectly!
The venue itself was beautiful. The grounds were in immaculate condition and the drinks reception on the terrace, with its view out over the Thames Valley, was the highlight of the day. Thank you to everyone at Pembroke Lodge for helping us to pull off the best day of our lives.

Absolutely Wonderful
Thank you, thank you, thank you to the entire team at Pembroke Lodge for working so hard to deliver us such a beautiful wedding on June 3rd.
We had the most wonderful day, and had so many compliments from our guests - from the attentiveness of your staff, the tastiness and portion size of the food, and the quality of the wine. Wonderful day with great staff!
We cannot thank Nelson and the Pembroke team enough! From the start, they were fantastic at answering all of our questions and putting our minds at ease. The food was fantastic, and the atmosphere in the park was incredible. We wouldn't have wanted to get married anywhere else!

We had a wonderful wedding because of a fabulous team!
We had an intimate wedding of 24 people at the Pembroke lodge. From the initial meeting until the end, the entire team made us always feel welcome. They were supportive with the planning even though there were many last minute decisions from our end. They also provide all the information you need (which you may not think of until later on) to make the wedding smooth-sailing for everyone involved. Location was picturesque & the food exceptionally tasty. All our guests had a great time & everyone was commenting how lovely & organised the wedding was. We know we couldn’t have pulled it off without the assistance of Nelson & his team. If we had a chance to do it all over again, we would definitely do it in Pembroke Lodge again!

Simply the best!!
Pembroke Lodge was the second wedding venue we looked at...within two minutes of walking down the drive back to the carpark, both my (now!) husband and I looked at each other and knew we didn't want to look anywhere else - we walked straight back to the team to discuss dates. From our numerous lockdown walks in Richmond Park we knew Pembroke Lodge would would be high on our list, but from the initial tour of the suites we were immediately sold. Nelson settled all of our "what ifs" and doubts... and the "Plan B" he proposed for different weather scenarios convinced us this venue knew how to host!! Communication was always quick, and helpful no matter how big or small the question. Our wedding day was seamless and I cannot thank Nelson and his team enough for all their effort and organisation. Nelson had his eyes everywhere making sure everything ran as expected and it took so much stress off of us knowing that we were in such capable hands... he even managed to help with the bustle on my dress when the bridesmaids were struggling! We had the best, most magical day which exceeded all our expectations!! All of our guests have commented on the venue and the food was exceptional. Thank you Pembroke for helping create so many happy memories for us, even if it did rai, we loved every second of it!! Every wedding venue needs a Nelson!!!!!

Perfect wedding with the most wonderful people
I cannot write enough praise words for how absolutely fantastic and wonderful our special day was. The team at Pembroke worked magic. We unexpectedly had to change the day of our wedding and they've been nothing but supportive and accommodating. Nelson is a treasure - so calm and friendly, my mom keeps mentioning him every time we discuss the wedding. If you're considering of hiring Pembroke Lodge - DO IT. You won't be sorry and you'll have the best day. Ah, and the food! I have to mention the food, which was absolutely top. Never did I imagine I'd feel so full and happy as a bride at my own wedding.
