The first time we visited Shenley I knew it was absolutely perfect for us! We chose to have our ceremony in the long room and then hog roast buffet wedding breakfast in the winter marquee followed by a disco back in the long bar room. From the food to the exceptional service the team provided on the day and in the run up it was absolutely amazing, I cannot thank them all enough for making our day exactly what we wanted and so perfect! Many many of our guests have told us it’s the best wedding they’ve ever been to and the best wedding breakfast they have ever tasted! It will always be such a special place for us!

We knew we wanted to get married at Shenley as soon as we viewed the venue, everyone was so lovely from the second we enquired and we are so glad we chose them. The building is the perfect blank canvas to make your wedding your own, the food is incredible and the DJ was excellent. They are extremely professional and our day ran like clockwork.

We had our ceremony and wedding reception at Shenley Cricket Club at the beginning of September and had the best day ever! We really did have the most perfect day and could not have asked for anything more.
Lucy and Claire are the most lovely and organised people and are a huge asset to the team - they just couldn't do enough for us and our guests. The venue, service, food and staff were all excellent and I've since had many friends & family comment it's the best wedding they've attended so thank you so much to the whole team for making that all possible - it really was such a magical day and dream come true.
The location itself is absolutely idyllic and the marquee is stunning, especially in the evening with all the fairy lights. We fell in love with the venue and soon as we viewed it and are so glad we were able to have our wedding there.
We can not thank Shenley Cricket Club enough for such a beautiful, perfect day and would highly recommend them to anyone thinking of having their wedding there!

We are now back from our honeymoon and just reflecting on our wedding.
We had the most amazing day. Lucy thanks for all your guidance both before the wedding and during the big day. You were very supportive and encouraging and easy going. Thank you to Claire for being the MC on the day. Lots of our guests commented on how great she was.

It was everything we wanted

We could not have asked the day to have gone any better and it was everything we wanted. We picked Shenley for its relaxed atmosphere and that is exactly how it felt on the day. We loved the fact the children could play games on the grass and the guests could sit outside and enjoy the weather and beautiful grounds.
We had so many comments about the venue and the feel of the day from having it there and many people said they would recommend it.
The marquee looked amazing and the food was perfect. Daryl was also great as a DJ and we would totally recommend anyone to have him as he had the dance floor filled all night.
Thank you so much for your help on the day with making sure everything ran to time and informing us of what needed to be done next. You also managed to keep us both calm when we arrived and made sure we knew what needed to happen before the ceremony.
Thank you for everything and we loved the day so much! I want to do it all again!

I just wanted to say thank you so much for everything over the last 9 months.
I cannot quite believe that is is all over now, but everyone was raving about the venue and the food.
If you could pass our thanks onto the kitchen staff as well, the food was amazing! Well what we got to eat was, but I hear from everyone else that it was the best wedding food they have ever had!
