Founded as a watchtower in the 16th century, La Spagnuola Gavotti is a marvellous seaside villa in Savona where you can organize a wedding with refined and regal tones. Featuring frescoed halls and an enchanting park of centuries-old trees, it will make the atmosphere of the happiest day of your life unique.
Spaces and capacity
First a watchtower, then an aristocratic palace and now an enchanting location for events, La Spagnuola Gavotti offers its spacious and elegant spaces for your wedding:
- The salons, frescoed and overlooking the gardens and the sea;
- The northern terrace, which overlooks the garden can accommodate 140 seated people
- The ancient cellars can accommodate up to 250 people and can host dances until 7 AM.
- The "Giardino a Mare" (Sea Garden) is a marvellous park of centuries-old trees with direct access to the private beach for a ceremony or DJ set on the beach.
- Furthermore, should you wish to celebrate your wedding ceremony on-site, you will have at your disposal the Chapel dedicated to Our Lady of Lourdes, frescoed by the Cousins Bertolotto in 1905, and the frescoed salons, perfect for organizing the civil ceremony.

Historical notes
Built to control Turkish raids, such as that of the corsair Dragut, Viceroy of Algiers, and Lord of Tripoli, La Spagnuola Gavotti was one of Legino's six watchtowers. In later centuries, it was transformed into a noble palace that hosted personalities such as the Viceroy of Naples in 1653 and Napoleon with his officers in 1796.

The best day of our lives
The venue of our dreams. We always dreamt of a beach wedding and my husband was born in Liguria Italy, so this venue seemed a great fit. We decided to contact the venue, who were quick to respond and from the moment we spoke to Ludovico (owner of the venue) we felt at ease. We are a couple based in London and luckily for us, Ludovico was also working in London at the time, so we arranged to meet with him in person to look through the venue brochure together. We then decided to visit the venue in person where we had a lovely tour by Ludovico’s Mum. Even though it was winter the venue still looked beautiful and we could definitely envision our day there. One of the most helpful aspects of this venue is that they provided us with recommendations for vendors who had worked with them before. This meant we could plan the day ourselves, with their help and no need for an expensive wedding planner! Our day was magical, everything went as planned, the venue team were on hand to help with the vendors and it just meant the day was effortless and perfect. Would recommend this venue 1000%.
