Elope to a 16th Century Scottish Castle from £5,900

A romantic 16th-century castle built during the legendary reign of Mary Queen of Scots, nestled into the ancient landscape of Kilmartin Glen, just 2 hours from Glasgow Airport. Explore the many surrounding historic sites of standing stones, hill forts, ceremonial stone circles, and ancient rock carvings that make our Glen an extremely special place. Located in Argyll, on the rugged West Coast of Scotland, this is the perfect choice for small elopement parties of 2-8 family and friends. Lovingly restored, the castle features 4 en-suite bedrooms. Retaining their medieval rustic magic, all of our rooms have also been designed to cleverly spoil you with the luxury comforts of modern living including underfloor heating, rain showers, handcrafted copper bathtubs, and of course, luxury linen.

Marry in the castle grounds, in the grand hall, or in Kilmartin Glen. The beauty of getting married in Scotland is that you can say “Wee do” wherever you want to! The castle dining room, with its original stone barrel-vaulted ceiling, is a fantastic place to enjoy your intimate wedding breakfast as you celebrate the beginning of your new adventure together. The West Coast of Scotland is known for its fabulously fresh seafood, and high-quality, high welfare local ingredients are readily available. We grow our own organic vegetables in the castle gardens.

The many historic sites of Kilmartin Glen are perfect wedding photography locations. Walkout to ancient standing stones, or jump in Sadie, our vintage convertible, and head to the dramatic hilltops or gorgeous beaches nearby.

Elopement prices, with no hidden costs, are £5,900 October to February and £6,900 March - September
