Itchenor Sailing Club is a stunning waterside location. From your ceremony and drinks reception on the waterfront lawn, to the last dance of the evening, Itchenor delivers something special.
Located near the city of Chichester on the south coast, the venue offers unrivalled views across Chichester Harbour. The stunning scenery provides a magical backdrop for those all-important wedding photos.
Catering options are flexible with three course menus available for parties from 10 to 100 guests seated, with more guests joining you for dancing and partying into the night. Our experienced, cordon-bleu trained chef Annmarie carefully constructs delicious canapés and dishes, but she is also happy to prepare more relaxed, less formal - but equally delicious - alternatives.
We can arrange for you to arrive/depart by boat if you wish and we are now licensed for Civil Ceremonies, either in our spacious Members' Room or outside on our pretty waterfront Bandstand.
Available all year round, we tailor your reception to you. No two weddings are ever the same here at the Club, and we look forward to discovering and developing your dreams and ideas. Our professional, enthusiastic and welcoming team will work with you every step of the way to ensure that every detail, big and small, is taken care of.
When the party is over, we can offer overnight accommodation for up to 30 of your guests, as well as adding a delicious, traditional English breakfast the following morning.

A 'mature' couple who had a wonderful wedding and celebration. The service from the staff couldn't have been better. So helpful and reassuring. Family and friends being able to stay overnight was wonderful. Highly recommended and grateful thanks to all involved.Sent on 18/02/2020

The perfect venue for a relaxed waterside wedding
Itchenor Sailing Club was absolutely the perfect venue for us! When we arrived to meet Amanda and saw the views out across the jetties, then explored the club, with its cosy bar, light airy dining room and ceremony room looking towards the water, we knew it was the one. Having affordable accommodation upstairs is a huge bonus - rooms are clean, modern and the breakfast is good too. It's so nice to keep everyone around a little longer.Sent on 15/12/2019
Organising our day with Amanda was easy, she had the answers to all our (often random) questions in lightning-quick time. Nick and Clare run an absolutely excellent catering and bar service. We knew we wanted a roast and it was truly fantastic - elevated with sides of cauliflower cheese and vegetables and delicious giant Yorkies! They were so friendly, calm and relaxed and this really helped us to feel like everything was in hand, especially the day before.
The best thing about Itchenor is it feels like a home from home run by a friendly family. Our guests could enjoy the day how they wanted - whether that was dancing in the bar, sitting by the fireplace in comfy armchairs, propping up the old bar as they do on their normal Saturdays, or staying in the dining room with the cheese course and a bit of quiet - and the staff were friendly and relaxed.
Thanks especially to Nick for stepping in to help us with our sparklers outside at the last minute, and to Clare and the bar girls for providing much-needed umbrella cover from the main building to ceremony room! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this location and this team. All our guests agreed, they'd never been to a wedding like ours and loved the venue.

The perfect venue for a waterfront wedding
Our wedding at Itchenor Sailing Club on August 2019 was absolutely perfect. We fell in love with this place as soon as we saw it, and on the day it provided the perfect setting for our relaxed and fun wedding. The weather meant we could use the outside space exactly how we wanted, with an arrival by boat, outdoor ceremony in the bandstand followed by a fun and relaxed drinks reception with games outside and boat trips for the guests to enjoy.Sent on 28/10/2019
The Jubilee room was the perfect setting for out 32 person wedding breakfast. We didn't feel far from the waterside with the panoramic views straight out onto the harbour. The food was perfect and we cannot praise the staff working on the day highly enough - Claire and the team made sure everyone was thoroughly looked after.
The sailing club was the perfect size for our 100 guest wedding reception. We danced the night away on the dancefloor, and the fun and games continued outside on the waterfront as the sun set. The bar staff were great fun and kept the drinks flowing all night. Lots of our guests commented how wonderful the service from the staff was.
We provided accomodation for all of our daytime guests at the venue itself, which meant we could enjoy a post-wedding debrief and breakfast in the sunshine the morning after the wedding. I would highly recommend using the bedrooms at the venue for guests wanting to stay over.
A big thank you to Nick and Amanda for going the extra mile to make sure everything was exactly as we wanted; from the ceremony right through to last orders. We cannot praise Itchenor Sailing Club enough!
