Our perfect weekend
By Alice and Stuart Drayton, on 10 Nov 2018Date of Wedding - 04 Aug 2018
We were really keen for a tipi wedding, but feared it was a bit beyond us when looking at suppliers and all of the extra add-ons. We stumbled across Inkersall online and fell in love. We booked the venue almost two years before the wedding and were kept up to date with all of the improvements made in that time. Linzi (and then Nina) were very helpful and approachable should we have ever needed anything. To have the tipis for the whole weekend was brilliant. It took the time pressure off in terms of decorating/clearing up. Ian was incredibly kind and always on hand throughout the process. So many guests commented on how lovely the venue was - we always felt as though everyone was close by throughout the day. The venue was just perfect and meant our wedding could be everything we had hoped for. We cannot thank you enough.
The Best Wedding they'd ever been to...
By Hannah & Gary, on 08 Aug 2018Date of Wedding - 28 Jul 2018
I had my heart set on a country house wedding until..... my groom was given a teepee brochure at a wedding fair and the obsession began! He searched for an affordable, practical, beautiful place and found Inkersall Grange Farm- as soon as I saw it I knew it was 'the one'!
In the lead up Linzi and Nina were really helpful, responded quickly and personally. The attended service before and during the wedding was great too - Ian was really thoughtful and couldn't do enough to help make our day special. The bar by Alex @ShaketheSpirit was also fantastic. Lots of our guests have referenced him by name which shows how friendly and positive he is. The selection was great and prices really reasonable!
We chose to legally marry a few days before and hold a blessing on site so our ceremony and reception were both held at IGF. The bridal party stayed overnight beforehand in log cabin on the farm. It was beautiful, a great setting for getting ready photos (and it also meant I could do last minute bits in the teepee the morning of the wedding). We held the ceremony in front of the teepee looking over the fields under an arch built by a friend and with a hessian aisle and benches for the guests.
After the ceremony we served ice-cream and then held afternoon tea inside the teepee. The evening food was a fish and chip van bought on site. We ended the night with a band who were able to just plug into the PA system. On the day Ian dealt with the needs of all these suppliers and we didn't have to worry about a thing.
Our day was perfect, I would whole heartedly and without reservation recommend IGF to anyone!!
The day our vision became a reality!

Inkersall Grange Farm provided the perfect setting and ‘blank canvas’ to allow our dreams to come to life on our big day! Linzi, Nina and the team were so welcoming and accommodating on the run up to and on our big day - they even made it so we could land a helicopter in the adjacent field! Incredible! We can’t rate them and the venue enough if you’re after a space you can really make your own - we chose bright bunting, coloured miss-match glasses and festival flags but the choice is yours and they’ll really help make your vision come to life! Thank you SO MUCH! It was just dreamy! #dobblesday
Truly Amazing Experience!!
By Jason Greaves & Sally Reddish, on 22 Aug 2018Date of Wedding - 21 Jun 2018
Let me start with WOW. The look and feel of this place was perfect for what we wanted. Easy laid back style which was unique and different. Exactly like us.
The facilities manager Ian we could not thank more for all the help he gave. He is there every step of the day and keeps the day running smooth so that you can enjoy YOUR day without having to organise anything else. (Ian sorted out all placements arrivals and setups as we had external caterers, band, candy floss stand and we were concerned we would spend half the time organising these)
Linzi and the staff are helpful and once they meet with you and go over things on the morning of set up they leave you to it to get decorating. This made set up and decorating easy and enjoyable as it didn't feel like you were intruding on someone else's space. You felt like it was your own space.
Alex who runs the bar is fantastic. He helps just as much as Ian and gives great advice on the drinks and what to order. He runs a relaxed atmosphere bar which also fits in with any style of wedding.
Ian and Alex could not have helped enough and actually helped make the day ours where we could enjoy the cake and dancing without worrying about anything else other than us.
Truly fantastic place and really worth a look if your after that something different.

We chose inkersall for our reception as we wanted an outdoor feel to our wedding and the tipis looked beautiful.
A few minor negative things, in that the bar man was changed after we booked (the new guy was GREAT) but the original offered more ales/pub drinks and the prices of booze changed (but on the whole we loved the new bar man, alex)
Equally after being told the price, making a deposit we found out we had to pay a £300 non refundable waiver fee! That was definitely annoying, either make it part of the price, or refundable as we all have insurance to cover such needs, so it felt this was just lining pockets.
Also on an open day we asked what we needed for a PA system and got told just for it to be PAT tested, so we then booked a PA system and paid a deposit to be then told the venue has one we can use! So £60 unnecessarily wasted
However after those nigling issues, the place is great, essentially you just get an empty shell and you’re left to do as you wish. Plus the beauty of this place is, if you just hired a tipi, you wouldn't get the fire pits, proper toilets, hardwood flooring, kitchen (but you can’t store any food in the fridge!) bar and staff and tables and chairs!
Oh we ordered wine and fizz for the toasts, but no one handed round the toast drinks which I don’t remember being told, so a few kind guests did it for me
It would be good if they offered cultery/plates/salt&pepetc
However overall i loved the venue! It was perfectly roomy for our guests 60 day, 90 by night. The high lights; bar man! Fire pits and the lovely Ian.
Thank you for your review Jenni
I am sorry to hear you were not aware of the damage waiver. This is in all our documentation, including our terms and conditions, which we send to you prior to you booking the venue. We try to be black and white when it comes to our pricing, as we understand how expensive wedding are and this is something we pride ourselves on.
The PA system was a new addition for this year as we are always looking to improve the venue. We were not aware that you had booked one previously and wish you would have discussed this with us.
We do have a new barman, however as you say he is great and his service should also include serving your guests their fizz for their toasts. As we are very flexible when it comes to your catering options and let you choose whoever you want, every caterer brings in their own equipment including plates, cutlery and condiments.
Overall, we are glad to hear you had a fantastic wedding day and we all wish you and your husband the very best n your happy life together!

Inkersall Grange Farm is a fantastic wedding venue. The team are friendly, efficient and cannot
do enough to help make your day special. The Venue itself is beautiful, picturesque and special, if
you want something a little different. My guests raved about the venue and how amazing it looked on the day. I wanted a wedding i could make my own and the team accommodated me in every way. Nina especially made me feel totally at ease and nothing was too much trouble for her. Alex the bar manager was also great to deal with and all my guests were full of compliments after the event. I would highly recommend Inkersall Grange Farm as first choice for any special event. Thanks Guys for making my day special.

Inkersall really was our dream wedding venue; everything is finished to such a high standard, providing the stunning, rustic venue with relaxed atmosphere that we wanted for our day. It ‘wowed’ us and all our guests and it’s uniqueness really got everyone into the celebratory spirit. Having Inkersall as a venue also afforded us freedoms that we would never have had with other venues, all helping to give us the best day ever! Linzi was fab throughout, always excited to hear from us and ready to help whenever we needed her. The guys there on the day were brilliant too, so friendly and helpful. It’s certainly a venue that has given us some awesome memories. Thank you xx
The most magical venue!

Such an amazing venue! The customer service from start to finish was second to none! Linzi was there every step of the way and always at the end of the phone or email if needed. The venue itself is just beautiful and the time they give you before and after to set up and clear away, shows that they are not driven by money but by making sure their clients have the most magical day! And that’s exactly what we got! Could not rate them enough! They are flexible, friendly & helped make our day perfect
Amazing place to celebrate your big day

From the first time we went to see Inkersall Grange Farm we fell in love. The setting is about a mile off the main road and it felt like there was no one for much further than that around.
The tipis are stunning and Linzi and the team helped us with everything we needed during the whole lead up and on the day.
We feel incredibly lucky to have been able to celebrate our wedding here and had nothing but compliments on everyone who joined us on the day.
Brilliant tipi venue

We used Inkersall Grange Farm for our daughter's wedding in August 2017. The tipi looked wonderful in the sunlight and magical in the evening. It was admired by everyone. The whole team were very helpful and accommodating in order to make the day special.
The perfect day
By Marcus and Leila Smallman, on 28 Aug 2017Date of Wedding - 10 Aug 2017
The day we got engaged we outlined that we wanted a laid back, outdoorsy, and personal wedding. A week later we stumbled across Inkersall Grange Farm - the first venue we looked at and we booked it the very next day! It was perfect for what we wanted. We had a laid back approach with picnic baskets and ice cream van as the day food, then pizza and churros vans in the evening. Our guests loved it and the weather worked out perfectly for us.
Linzi was superb throughout - feeling more like a friend than the events organiser! She was always quick to respond and allowed us the freedom to do the wedding exactly as we wanted. We loved how relaxed the venue was, meaning we could dictate exactly when and how we did things. The facilities on the day were outstanding, Alex the bar/day manager was always happy to help and ran the day brilliantly meaning we could just get on and enjoy it. The beautiful surroundings also made for some INCREDIBLE photos as the sun was setting. We loved every minute of the day and would not hesitate to use the venue, or Linzi again.

All our guests loved it too and we couldn't have asked for anything more.
