We could not be happier with how our wedding went. Holmewood were truly excellent. Our personal wedding manager, Lee, was on hand at all times to make sure everything went smoothly. Every single thing fell into place perfectly without us having to worry about a single thing the entire day. The rooms were beautiful and the added bonus of breakfast the next day is a very nice extra. Highly highly highly recommend!

We got married at Holmewood Hall on the 4/4/24 and had the most amazing, magical day! The staff were sensational - with a special shout out to Lee, who sorted everything. Nothing was too much trouble! Thank you to everyone at Holmewood Hall!

We had looked at quite a few venues in the area already and this one was the best. The moment we walked in the ceremony room we knew this was the place we wanted to get married.
The house is so lovely with many rooms for you to use. It kept our guests guessing on the day as they thought the evening reception was where we had our meal which it wasn’t. Our older guests liked they could sit in a quieter room with nice surroundings.
The staff are all amazing and nothing is too much trouble for them. Our guest commented on how professional and lovely they were.
The food, well can’t fault it. Food was hot when brought out and brought out in good time. The evening buffet went down a treat with the guests with it being filled regularly.
We stayed the night and lots of guests did too, they all loved the bedrooms and no room is the same.
Everything just went so smoothly you have someone on the day to go to and tell you where need to go etc. We really loved Holmewood Hall and definitely recommend.

We are absolutely blown away by how amazing our day was at Holmewood Hall! We picked Holmewood because it is just a stunning venue, as well as being perfectly located for our friends and family (even though it felt way too fancy for us haha!). The package offered was exactly what we wanted (especially with the Christmas decor!) and with so many inclusions that we knew it would make planning much easier, and when I say the team at Holmewood delivered, they REALLY delivered!! We had Lee as our Personal Wedding Manager and he was absolutely amazing, nothing was too much trouble. He was so thorough with the details and went through every possible option for our day during our 6-month planning meeting. Katie was our initial contact with the venue, and she showed us round on our first visit, pre-booking - again, super thorough with so much information (things we hadn’t even considered at that point!) but she wasn’t pushy about booking at all, just very patient and explained anything we were unsure on. All communication with the team, either Lee or Katie, was spot on - any queries or concerns were answered really quickly, we had regular updates and check-ins either over email or phone call in the run-up to the big day and lots of reassurance! On the day, Lee was so lovely and a really calming presence who took all of our ideas and ‘on-paper’ planning and made it a reality. He managed to corral all of our guests and get everyone to where they needed to be at exactly the right time, and somehow managed to be present exactly when we needed him but not obviously hanging around?! Some sort of amazing wedding planner sixth sense! The rest of the team on the day were fantastic - the bar and waiting staff were so attentive, very friendly and more than happy to help our guests with whatever they needed. The food and drinks throughout the day were delicious too - from the canapés and welcome drinks through the wedding breakfast and the evening buffet… it was all stunning and we were never waiting for courses, everyone was served at the same time which was really amazing. I cannot recommend Holmewood Hall enough - if you want a venue that provides an amazing almost all-inclusive package alongside a fantastic team then you must consider Holmewood Hall for your wedding day. We also hired the rooms for our guests, and the breakfast the following day was also amazing. Thank you to Lee & Team, our day wouldn’t have been as perfect as it was without you all. We will be back on our 1st Anniversary for a dinner date!!

I cannot tell you how fantastic this place is. From our first viewing to our big day the staff have been amazing. The food was incredible and had so many comments of how lovely it was.
We are so happy to have booked this venue and def recommend it others you won't be disappointed.

We had our wedding at Holmewood Hall on Saturday and it was the most perfect weekend!
The Bridal party stayed in the Cottage the night before and had an incredible evening, making the most of the local pizzaria (Sub Xpress Pizza) and hot tub.
On the wedding day itself Lee, our Wedding Planning Manager, could not have done enough for us, everything was as we had planned and everything was spot on.
The food was incredible, as were the drinks. Lee made sure we were able to have a completely gluten free wedding, and I must say it surpassed all expectations. Myself and my gluten free guests got to eat food we haven't been able to for years!
We also stayed for the breakfast the next morning, which was also fantastic.
On the leadup to the wedding Lee did everything he could to answer all my questions and gathered all the required information for the running of the day.
All in all, it could not have asked for a better venue, we had outstanding customer service and exceptional planning.

Holmewood hall was amazing from start to finish. All the staff were so attentive, organised and efficient leading up to and on the day. Giulia was always on hand to answer any questions and honestly made the day go flawlessly. We brought lots of our own decor to use and the team set everything up and packed away so carefully and it looking stunning.
All guests with dietary requirements were catered for perfectly and most of them commented on how must of a positive experience the food was.
The wedding breakfast was served and everyone said the portion sizes were very filling, there was evening food left over (unheard of).

The DJ set up the perfect playlist based on our likes dislikes and requests. The first dances were organised and worked perfectly. I would recommend getting as much confetti as possible for the indoor dance shot, as it came out stunning.

The catering team and cleaning team turned everything around so quickly it was like there was never any mess.

As a bride you might be anxious about not moving into the bridal suite until 11, but this honestly gave plenty of time to move everything over, finish getting ready and getting dressed perfectly for the ceremony. Guests commented on how clearly you could hear with the acoustics of the gold room for the ceremony, I would recommend the inside ceremony, for the use of the stunning mirror and for your guests to be able to hear you!

Holmewood also purchased mini golf which we added on last minute, this stays out all evening and some of our guests even got another round in the next morning before breakfast.

We would recommend Holmewood to anyone who asked, worth every penny! Giulia, Kala and team were perfect. Thanks again.

Words cannot say how pleased we were with every aspect of the wedding. Coming from a service industry background our expectations of customer service is extremely high. Holmewood Hall did not disappoint From the very minute my daughter arrived the evening before the wedding, to the minute we left the following morning, everything was absolutely spot on. Nothing was too much trouble Every single member of staff desperately wants the day to be perfect and go out of their way to ensure that this happens. As a parent you know you’ve nailed it when your daughter keeps telling you that they’ve had the best day of their life and want to do it all again. If I had one complain it would be that it was over way to fast !!!! Well done Holmewood Hall you surpassed all our wildest dreams

Friendly, welcoming, professional, clean, and just all round so excited to have our wedding at this dream place, they are fast responding and so happy to help with literally everything no matter how big or small Katie and Lee are just so amazing I couldn't have asked for a better team to help plan our wedding and help us. We are only in the early stages but if I'm this impressed, I so can not wait for the big day. I'm sure they smash it.

The team at Holmewood have been absolutely amazing. We the current covid climate, our guest list, seating plan, and catering requirements were changing right up to the morning of the wedding, and Holmewood just took it in their stride. They enabled us to also have a live stream of our wedding for those who couldn't attend.
The food was brilliant with different variations for vegan and vegetarians, gluten-free and dairy-free. Their service at the breakfast was seamless and they just kept checking in with us to make sure everything was going well. I could not have asked for a better 24 hours.

You dream of a perfect wedding day, and hope all will go well. That was so easy with the superb assistance provided by both the sales team and wedding planner at the hall.

We booked this venue with just 3 months to go due to ailing health of family members.
From the venue viewing, to booking, to the run up and the day, it was seamless.
Our wedding planner, Laura, was absolutely incredible. Very attentive, quick to respond and any query or worry was resolved quickly and without argument.

I spent the night before at the onsite cottage with the amazing hot tub with my bridesmaids. Laura came around in the morning to deliver our breakfast and discussed any morning of worries.

My 15 month old hurricane of a child was given roam of the rooms due to having exclusive use of the venue so I did not have to worry about him.

The day itself went without an issue. The staff were amazing, very professional and friendly, the food was incredible (go for the fish and chips evening buffet) and the venue was absolutely stunning both inside and out; the bridal suite is outstanding!

I never thought my wedding day would be as stress free as it was made by the assistance and support from the staff

We had our wedding at Holmewood Hall on 30th March 2024 and it was the most perfect day. Lee, our Personal Wedding Manager went above and beyond to make sure our day was amazing. We met with him 6 months before our date to start planning and he helped us through some of the decisions. On the day he was so organised, nothing was too much trouble and he set everything up exactly how we asked for it.
The team were also accommodating with some very last minute changes to guests and menu choices which was very appreciated.
We enjoyed a complimentary Dinner Date there where Kayla, Food & Beverage Manager, talked us through lots of options for our day and was so lovely on our wedding day, she really made us feel like VIPs!
We really cannot thank the team enough for making our day so special to us and our guests, we loved every minute - would highly recommend!

All staff involved on our wedding day 17/12/23 were very attentive and went above and beyond for us to ensure our day ran flawlessly. It was the first venue we planned to visit following our engagement and knew we didn’t need to look any further.
The architecture of the house, the original decor and the decorative touches are outstanding.
The grounds are well kept and freshly prepared daily to ensure they are always on top form. However, it really was the attention to detail and incredible quality of the staff which really made the difference!

Every time we visited the venue for another visit, checking on final details or attending one of their wonderful dinner dates, the staff were fantastic. We have not experienced such consistently high level of professionalism, but always with that little bit of personality from each and every member of staff we saw. This make it particularity lovely to see those familiar faces we had gotten to know, on our actual wedding day. We can’t forget to thank the staff who worked hard behind the scenes to produce impeccable food and the wait staff who kept everybody’s glasses wet.

Lee, our personal wedding manager; we just can’t stop singing his praises! Any issues at any time, he was there. He was happy to offer reassurance when things weren’t going quite to plan. On the wedding day itself, he kept everything under control, running smoothly and done it with grace and ease. He made us feel heard, prioritised and ensured our wedding was unique to us, truly representing who we are as a couple. He worked efficiently with our suppliers, made them all feel welcomed and at home. Several of our suppliers actually commented saying that it was the nicest venue they’ve worked with as a result.

Holmewood Hall were great in accommodating our social content creator, Amyleigh socials to do her work. She perfectly captured the pure happiness, love and joy from the day. From the preparation, our first reactions, our ceremony and all the way until until our party; Amy really has created a lifetime of memories from this most beautiful venue and our perfect day. Holmewood Hall encouraged Amy and Steve (our photographer), to move around the venue as they needed to really show off their skill set.

We sincerely cannot thank Amy, Steve, Lee and all the staff at Holmewood enough! We cannot wait to visit for a dinner date soon, as a married couple!
