Hackness Grange is a 19th Century Grade II Georgian Manor house that pairs period features with elegant style. Set on the banks of the River Derwent and nestled in 17 acres of beautifully manicured grounds, Hackness Grange sits on the edge of the North York Moors. Our stunning wedding pavilion is surrounded by natural beauty and sits on the island, across the lake. This stunning backdrop is the perfect setting for capturing your wedding photographs and creating happy memories that will last a lifetime.
Throughout your planning and preparations, our dedicated wedding co-ordinator who has a wealth of experience will be with you every step of the way. We only hold one wedding per day at Hackness Grange, so you can enjoy a personal and dedicated service.
You have the option of celebrating your wedding breakfast in our Johnstone Suite, which is able to cater for up to 170 guests for formal dining and upwards of 200 for the evening celebrations. Or if you prefer, you can have a smaller more intimate ceremony and wedding breakfast in our Derwent Restaurant. We are the only venue in the North Yorkshire County Council area who are licensed to have outdoor weddings 12 months of the year, either on the pavilion or in the grounds, as well as being licensed to hold civil ceremonies in both our Johnstone Suite and Derwent Restaurant.
All our rooms have en-suite facilities and picturesque views of the gardens, lake and Yorkshire countryside. Whilst you enjoy an evening in our Bridal Suite, your wedding party have the choice of staying in one of our traditionally decorated rooms in the main house, or one of our contemporary decorated court yard rooms, next to the old stables.
We look forward to giving you a warm Yorkshire welcome on arrival at Hackness Grange, and our friendly and experienced staff will ensure that your wedding day is both a relaxed and memorable one.
