Fra Lorenzo Relais is a beautiful venue located in the romantic town of Verona, home to the love story of Romeo and Juliet.
The venue is located a few minutes walk far from the town centre and offers peace and tranquillity. The ancient olive tree garden provides a stunning backdrop over the town, providing the perfect setting for a quiet and intimate wedding.
The venue has a strong connection with the love story of Romeo and Juliet, because Fra Lorenzo was the monk who married Romeo and Juliet and this is where the venue receives its name from.
Fra Lorenzo Relais prides itself on providing a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, as well as experienced and dedicated staff. If you choose to have your wedding here you can be reassured that we will take care of everything for you.
We are one of the fiew venue in Verona licensed for Civil & Partnership Ceremony.

Our perfect day at Fra Lorenzo
We decided to get married at Fra Lorenzo after visiting for a holiday in July 2015. From the moment we'd spoken to Antonio (the incredibly helpful owner) everything was really easy.Sent on 19/11/2017
The hotel is a perfect venue – incredibly romantic and intimate with stunning views. We had 74 guests with the whole wedding set in the gardens overlooking Verona. Antonio and the team have hosted a number of events/weddings so have a wealth of experience to draw upon and a great network of trusted suppliers to ensure the day is tailored to you.
We worked with Antonio as if he were our unofficial wedding planner. Whether it be helping to find a pre-wedding drinks venue or sourcing a gelato stand, he always went over and above to ensure we had the perfect day. All of the partners that he recommended were excellent. Special mention to Adriano, the local florist at Citta Dei Fiori who created our beautiful flowers and the catering company who provided great service and incredible food showcasing the best of local cuisine. We also used the lovely Claire Adams for our beautiful photographs, which are very personal to us.
We hosted close family and friends in the hotel so it felt more like a weekend away rather than just one special day. Getting married in July allowed us to go en masse to the opera the night before (an amazing experience in itself), and on the day of the wedding most of the wedding party were able to relax at the pool before getting ready for our 17:45 ceremony.
If you're thinking of getting married in Italy then we highly recommend Fra Lorenzo and the wonderful team there. It really was a dream come true!
