Beautiful venue and almost perfect service
We had our wedding here in May and it was incredible. Abbie and the wonderful staff made our day so perfect. The organisation was almost impeccable. We had 130 guests who were attended to and looked after very well. The food was delicious and any special requirements were noted and provided. The grounds itself is stunning with a beautiful lake full of friendly geese and ducks and the gardens were in full bloom. The estate near the banqueting hall is a historic piece of beauty and a great setting for photographs. Our only major issue would be with the DJ they provided as part of the package. He was difficult to hold a correspondence with as he took too long to reply to emails and, although we provided a USB full of music we wanted (which he never returned), he played his own list (of some songs we hate) and very few of our own. We gave specific instructions as it was a mixed culture wedding of Turkish and French and couldn't have provided an easier task with the USB which had separate folders for: First dance/ English/French/Turkish music and the order we wanted them played. At one point, he played a traditional Greek folk song! Our complaint of him fell on deaf ears and it's the only thing that bothered us immensely about this otherwise amazing service.Sent on 13/07/2017
