Picture a romantic setting for your wedding day: a stunning country house nestled into a manicured quilt of lawns, shrubs and towering old trees…
Congratulations! You have just pictured the Hallmark Hotel Flitwick Manor! Your photographer will be in their element as shooting gorgeous pictures of your wedding just got easier. Our Georgian manor is set among acres of historic Bedfordshire parkland and is a magical spot for any ceremony or reception.
Indeed, the setting is just the start. We have three magnificent function suites that are all licensed for civil ceremonies, and can host anything from a petite and intimate celebration with a few family and friends to a party for 58 guests.
Each room has its own special features; The Library features a wonderful mahogany table for a banquet, The Music Room boasts a wealth of charming antiques and The Brooks Room opens out onto the terrace and gardens with incredible views.
Should you need more space, it doesn’t mean that you’re guaranteed less beauty. We will simply put up an elegant marquee in the grounds creating the stage for a bright light white gloriously traditional country wedding!
To go with our magnificent facilities we have the staff. Our dedicated wedding coordinator combine their experience with impeccable attention to details – they appreciate that it’s the tiniest requests that can make your day truly unique!
Hallmark Flitwick Manor is also home to 19 lovely historic rooms should some of your guests want to stay over. This includes our shamelessly luxurious honeymoon suite that features wood panelling, a marble fireplace and a tartan-draped four-poster bed. The room also comes with a bathroom that contains ‘kissing baths’ and a private sauna. If you can’t indulge on your wedding day, when can you!?

My nieces wedding, the whole day was brilliant, check was great, we arrived early so knew the room would not be ready, but they stored our bags, the wedding service was great, food was lovely, the pics was great in the lovely surroundings, the evening reception was brilliant, great party to celebrate with my nieces family and friends, breakfast the next day was plentiful, check out was all in order, a fabulous 24 hours or so spent at the hallmark flitwick manor thank you to the GM Tom and his team, I would very much recommend this hotel for a wedding or even a few days away
Flitwick Manor offered us a superb country setting, whilst being close to local towns with places to visit including woburn. The food was 5* and we welcomed with a relax feel to the place. All staff made us feel important and the bedroom (room 4) was beautiful looking over the grounds.Sent on 28/01/2010
I recommend anyone to stay who is either as a couple, family or wanting a business stay. You will be welcomed with open arms.

Set in beautiful Northumbria countryside
Set in beautiful Northumbria countryside and the lawns and gardens surrounding the building are perfectly kept and pleasing to the eye. Prior to our wedding, we visited Dissington Hall on a number of occasions and, on one of those occasions, witnessed a game of croquet being played on the lawn just outside the library. This was an option made open to us for our day. After the ceremony, whilst we were having the bulk of the photographs taken, the staff at Dissington were to show our guests into the gardens for them to enjoy a game of croquet whilst awaiting the main reception. Unfortunately, in true Northumbria fashion, we experienced torrential rain for the duration of our wedding, which removed the croquet option.Sent on 05/02/2001
The room in which our ceremony took place is perfect. It contains a large staircase that any bride would be eager to walk down. We had about 90 guests all seated in the room which was a perfect size for this number of guests.
Following the ceremony, we moved into the library where the majority of photographs were taken. Meanwhile our guests were able to move into the adjacent bar area where drinks were being served. The library is perfect for photographs and meant that the lack of decent weather didn’t dampen the photographic memories we have of the day.
We had chosen the marquee option to enjoy our wedding meal in. The food was served with very good timing and even though it was quite a cold day, the marquee proved a good choice.
In the evening, we moved into the adjoining dance room and enjoyed an evening of drinking, dancing and laughing.
Looking back on our day, there is very little we would have changed. The venue was just what we wanted, the food was excellent and the hospitality was also very good.
If we could go back, the one thing that we would possibly change would be the selection of a slightly under par DJ for the evening.
