From the first viewing where we met Ruth, we were met with not only a stunning venue, but such a high level of professionalism and support. The Barn, marquee and accomodation were all perfect.
We arranged multiple meetings with Ruth and she was always so responsive in the lead up to our day. On the day itself Sarah and the rest of the Elms Barn team were amazing, my Husband and I didn't need to think of anything on the day, they had it all handled.
The flowers Teena prepared were beautiful and the food was exceptional. We had countless comments on how amazing everything was!
We couldn't recommend Elms Barn more- our dream venue and team for our dream day!

From start to finish, our wedding day at Elms Barn was nothing short of magical. The venue itself is breathtaking — full of character, charm, and natural beauty that made it feel both grand and intimate at the same time. The gardens were stunning, the barn was beautifully set up, and the entire atmosphere was everything we could have dreamed of and more.

A very special thank you to Ruth and Sarah, who went above and beyond to make sure everything ran seamlessly. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made us feel completely at ease throughout the whole process. From the planning stages to the final moments of the day, they were incredible — nothing was ever too much trouble, and their calm, reassuring presence meant we could truly relax and soak in every precious moment.

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a more incredible wedding day. From start to finish, the team at Elms Barn were absolutely amazing — so accommodating, so professional, and yet so genuinely kind and personal. Every little detail was beautifully thought out, and the whole day ran SO smoothly that we were able to just relax and soak up every moment without an ounce of stress.

From the moment we started working with Ruth we knew we would be in the best hands possible. The grounds and venue speak for themselves, stunning in every way! The benefits of the on site accomodation are second to none, along with the venue being able to provide the food, drink and flowers for us - all of which catered to a wide range of themes and budgets. We loved the use of the Bentley to take the bridal party to the venue, along with the beauty room in Stackyard Lodge to get ready. Nothing was too much to ask and Ruth kept in touch with us from start to finish to make the day everything we dreamed of, including liaising with our suppliers. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding and will have memories for a lifetime of our perfect day at Elms Barn. Everyone commented on how amazing the venue was on the day, and how attentive Ruth was checking in with us throughout. It’s so hard to even put it to words how grateful we are to Elm Barn for our wedding. The price was incredible especially as you get three day exclusive hire of the entire venue. The staff are absolutely incredible and we had so many comments from our guests who also noticed how lovely each and everyone was. The support is there from the very beginning and Ruth and her team were so helpful throughout the planning all the way through to the big day! Ruth was always so helpful and got back to us so quickly with any queries we had. The whole team brought our vision and dream day to life and it couldn’t have been more perfect.

We simply could not recommend Elms barn more! The barn itself is so stunning with the most gorgeous surroundings - perfect for photos! Ruth was on hand to answer all of our questions and helped us plan and prep for our perfect day. Every member of staff were so friendly and they couldn't do anything more for us. Teena who provided the flowers created such stunning pieces and her ideas helped us a lot. The catering was amazing with the best canapés and the most delicious wedding breakfast - there were also plenty of options to choose from. The accommodation was so lovely to have on site so friends and family could stay. And having the added touch to be able to stay the night before made it more intimate and special for the bridal party getting ready. For anyone thinking of booking Elms barn definitely do it! 6 months on and we still get comments from our guests how perfect our day was. It was simply amazing!

We had our wedding at Elms Barn, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. We booked with them after our first venue cancelled with us 6 months before the wedding. Elms Barn was incredibly flexible and was easily contactable throughout the whole process which put our minds to rest!

The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. From the initial planning stages to the day-of coordination, they were professional, attentive, and genuinely kind. Special thanks to Ruth for being so responsive and making us feel completely at ease. Everything felt so personal, like learning I was a swiftie and counting the Taylor Swift songs we played throughout the day! The staff got involved throughout the day including joining us on the dance floor throughout the night.

Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the food, the service, and the overall ambiance. Everything was exactly how we envisioned it—if not better. We got married in July and people are still talking about how amazing the food was(especially the chicken Caesar salad).

Being able to get ready on site made things so much easier and the morning was completely stress free. Having the venue for 3 day was definitely a game changer!

Our wedding was in August 2025. We booked in early 2023 and as soon as we got through the doors we knew this was the venue for our dream wedding. The stunning gardens, the acres of land for photographs, the barn, the marquee and the modern and spacious accommodation - all of it screams luxury and relaxing.

Planning our wedding with Norfolk and suffolks VIP suppliers who had all previously worked at elms made everything so seamless and exciting!

Our Elms Barn point of contact Ruth was always so quick to reply to our (many) emails, answering all of our questions and queries with professionalism, honesty and reliability. She gave us options, opinions from her lived experiences and helped us make decisions to make our wedding personalised to us but also seamless for her and her team.

The weekend of our wedding started with meeting our coordinator Sarah who immediately put us at ease by telling us this was her bread and butter, she had been briefed on our personal wedding and was there for anything we needed. And boy was she telling the truth!! Nothing was too much for Sarah. From organising our own personal preferred reception drinks immediately after the ceremony, to ensuring my private stash of my favourite Prosecco was kept behind the bar and my glass always topped up. She kept us on time with the day and also let us mix it up where we needed too so we could relax with our guests and enjoy ourselves.

Our accommodation was beautifully spacious, clean and modern. The staff did us a great favour of coming in and cleaning rooms on the day of our wedding so guests could swap/move rooms to more appropriate accommodation for the second night of our stay and they did it so discreetly and wonderfully you would have never known they were there.

The in house catering team had a tough job with our mixed menu and guests who had various dietary requirements and they absolutely smashed it. Everyone was raving about how wonderful their meal was, with my vegan and celiac guests in particular saying they’ve never had a shared menu meal made dietary so delicious at any venue or even restaurant ever!!

The waiting staff and bar staff were excellent for the whole reception. They answered all questions, made some very whacky drinks for people and really kept the vibe going for everyone! We felt like they were friends by the end of the night.

Our day was beyond perfect and it really was down to how relaxing Sarah and her team made it feel, along with how immaculately Ruth had helped plan the whole day.


We are so sad that our special day is over but we can guarantee that a number of our guests will be booking Elms Barn in the future for their own special day thanks to the wonderful time they had.

Our wedding at Elms Barn was absolutely wonderful thanks to the incredible team there Chel’s food was amazing, Sarah, our day-of coordinator, was brilliant, the waiting staff were attentive and professional, and Ruth guided us perfectly through planning.

Unfortunately, our experience with their florist, Teena, was beyond disappointing. Unfortunately after you sign the contract you agreed you must use the house florist and no one else which made us nearly cancelling our wedding in the middle of organising as we didn’t know till meeting her she only orders her flowers from Holland. We had previous issues with communication and follow-through, which carried into the wedding day.

The day before, I had to pick up cosmos flowers (as she couldn’t source English meadow flowers) from another shop (The Southwould Flowershop Conpany) and had to incorporate them myself, even though Teena had agreed to do it. The two pillar arrangements were left visibly incomplete with minimal filling, and she never checked in before leaving. While we understand personal circumstances with her husband being ill, she could have sent a staff member to help especially we have payed £1000 when I have been quoted less from different florists for the same… but I would of ended up what I wanted originally but because of the contract that was impossible to do it so.
Our bouquets were also problematic. Just looked very monochrome focusing on 1-2 colour not what I was looking for. Did told to her on our meeting my main colours BUT did mentioned multiple times don’t be afraid of any different colours! But she is a very traditional old fashioned lady and you can’t tell her what to do because she knows best. We were fortunate to have purchased a second bouquet ourselves from the Flowershop Company (who have been really supportive with the situation with Teena and made me feel assured my feelings are valid and well reasoned.)

On the morning of the wedding, while I was getting ready, a window cleaner was outside, and because the curtains were open for lighting, I had to be mindful of him while preparing which wasn’t to bad but made me feel uncomfortable could of done it maybe an hour later when the ceremony starts… After that, our photographer informed us that Teena had complained to her about our dissatisfaction of her bouquet, which was upsetting. I ended up using it anyway in one of the vases as I know I already spent money on it as I had no choice.
While the florist caused the most stress, made me cry after both of our appointments, and was overall very disappointing and clearly cannot handle criticism as she had never received complaints before “as she claimed”
The rest of the day at Elms Barn was exceptional. They really have a great team behind them. We are deeply grateful to everyone else there who made our wedding beautiful and memorable.

Elms Barn was the perfect venue for our wedding day and had everything we were looking for.
The three day hire was a bonus, as we could get all our friends and family together on the Friday night and then have a relaxing morning after the wedding on Sunday. The accommodation meant we could have everyone onsite and there was no worries about travel in the morning.
The barn was the perfect place for our ceremony. We also liked the fact we could have our meal and evening reception in the barn too, with the added bonus of the marquee for in-between with its own bar.
The beautiful gardens allowed us to have so many lovely pictures outside and our guests commented on how stunning they were.
We couldn’t have asked more from Ruth who answered all our emails so quickly and nothing was ever too much. She was the perfect coordinator on the day and ensured our day ran so smoothly.
The staff were so friendly, which our guests also commented on.
Teena also created the most beautiful flowers that looked incredible on the day.
Overall we can’t thank Elms enough for giving us the most perfect day we will never forget.

We got married at Elms Barn last weekend and it was the most magical weekend.

To start, the location is beautiful. The gardens and surrounding areas are absolutely stunning.
The barn, marquee and accomodation are all immaculate and beautifully kept.

We had a bbq with our wedding party the day before our wedding and it was lovely.
We asked for some extras that didn't come as part of the menu and they were happy to accomodate this.

The food on the day was absolutely delicious. The evening curry was incredible!!

The entire day ran like clockwork. I didn't have to worry about a thing, as we knew we were in safe hands.
This was mostly down to Ruth, who was absolutely faultless through the entire process. She was so on top of everything, that we knew we didn't have to worry.
If I ever had a question, Ruth was on hand to respond to my emails and help in anyway she could, from the day we booked the venue to the week of our wedding.

Saying this, all of the staff were also fantastic- warm and friendly and worked very hard to make our day special.

Our guests had the best time and couldn't compliment the venue and Ruth enough! She is an absolute asset and clearly loves what she does!

If we could, we would do it all again!!

From our very first meeting, she was warm, organised, and completely dedicated to making our day exactly what we wanted. She went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of, answering our every question with such patience and expertise. On the day itself, Ruth and Sarah kept everything running seamlessly without us ever having to worry. We genuinely felt like we were in the best possible hands.

The whole team at Elms Barn delivered outstanding quality and service—from the food to the setup, everything was done to the highest standard. It was clear they genuinely cared about making our day special, and they succeeded in every way.

Elms Barn is one in a million for wedding venues, its absolutely beautiful and the staff are amazing. They are so attentive making sure you have the absolute best day and no ask is too small or big. From the moment we booked our wedding date to leaving the morning after the big day, we had the most wonderful experience getting married at Elms Barn! A huge reason for this is Ruth (the Wedding & Events Director at Elms Barn). She is so incredibly helpful, very quick to respond (day and night!) and was a delight every time - especially on the wedding day itself! Thank you Ruth!

The venue is beautiful and we made use of the perfectly manicured rose gardens to have the ceremony on site and outside and we’re so pleased we did. It was like a dream on the day and the photos look incredible!

Teena (the Florist at Elms Barn) did a wonderful job transforming an already beautiful venue into something spectacular. The bouquets, wall sconces, floor garden and the flower arch were beautiful, thank you!

We had multiple guests tell us the food was the best they’ve tasted at a wedding, and we totally agree! Shel (the head chef at Elms Barn) was lovely, accommodating to changes and multiple dietary requirements, and outdid herself with the quality of the food all day! Outstanding!

The day flowed so well, thanks to Ruth keeping us organised and being able to relax and enjoy the occasion. When the sun set after our golden hour photoshoot against the blossoming trees in the orchard, the party started in the barn and with approximately 150 guests the place was bouncing but not at all cramped! Parking for this many guests was no bother too.

We couldn’t imagine our special day being anywhere else, and the best decision we made whilst wedding planning was to choose Elms Barn.
