Our Wedding Day.....
We got married on Friday 24 March 2017 at Coombe Abbey. I’d booked the wedding 14 months in advance and as I lived locally, Coombe was one of the hotels on my list but I did also view other venues. I chose Coombe, which, admittedly, was slightly more expensive than others, however, the expression, “you get what you pay for” is completely true in this instance.Sent on 11/04/2017
From my initial meeting with my Wedding Planner Joanne, I knew the day was going to run smoothly. She ran through every detail, nothing was too much trouble, calls and emails were returned in a timely manner, and whilst I realise I must have been one bride out of many that Coombe deal with at any one time, it never came across that way, I truly felt I got 100% attention at all times and that nothing was too much trouble.
A few days before the wedding, James, our Toastmaster got in touch. His expertise made the smooth running of the day that much better. I used the florist Coombe recommended, Michelle Lines and the flowers were breath-taking, would definitely recommend her.
Our Ceremony was in the Abbeygate and our Wedding breakfast was in the Courthouse, which was dual aspect so light flooded the whole venue. The day itself ran like clockwork, the staff were BRILLIANT, honestly, customer service must be top of their training agenda, it was second to none. The food was delicious and there was plenty of staff so no-one was waiting (it’s table service for drinks whilst in the Wedding Breakfast on the first floor of the Courthouse).
I would honestly 100% recommend Coombe Abbey as a wedding venue to anyone, we really had the most amazing day.

We can not thank the team enough at Coombe Abbey Hotel, every single member of your team went out of their way to ensure, we and our guests were looked after, happy, content and above all felt special.
Our wedding breakfast food was superb, cooked to perfection and I'm not just saying that, I was a little worried as occasionally wedding food is a bit, well standard, but wow, your chefs blew our socks off. I even checked just to make sure it wasn't just mine and my wife's food that was awesome and nope, every plate that was put in front of our guests was of the same high standard.
It has been pleasure receiving messages from our guests, informing us our wedding was one of the best they have been too. Their messages have ranged from what a beautiful place, the detail, service, food and atmosphere was perfect, so thank you for giving us not only the best day but our guests too a fabulous experience.
Special thank you's to James our Master of Ceremony, Abi our Event Manager for the day, Joanne our Wedding Coordinator throughout the whole wedding planning process you are all stars.

We had our wedding at Coombe Abbey and cannot fault the venue or the team there. Jade our wedding planner was fab in the months before hand, and both Abby and toast master Scott were great on the day ensuring plans went smoothly. Food was lovely and care and attention was shown in setting up our ceremony rooms as we'd advised. We loved every minute (aside from the biblical weather!), would recommend to others considering Coombe Abbey as a wedding venue choice. Thanks for making our day so special.Sent on 11/04/2017
