Facilities and Capacity
Down a single-track road awaits Combe Manor Barns, offering quiet solitude but an easy 90-minute drive from London. Boasting a distinctive selection of licensed civil ceremony settings, this open venue can easily host any wedding theme. The two great barns angle together to form a versatile space that can host a ceremony and a later reception party. This elegant rustic site has been recently redecorated; the interior palette lightened beautifully to show the antique beams. The Grade I listed Norman chapel is just the place for a religious ceremony, nestled next door to the manor house. After your first kiss as newlyweds, your guests can make their way to the barn courtyard while you may take portraits in the manor house and gardens. The formal Drawing Room is a particularly favoured spot for intimate group photos. A beautiful get-ready suite is also available for you to refresh and prepare for the next exciting stages. Afterwards, loved ones can celebrate the day's festivities in the dining barn, toasting your union over a bespoke meal.

The family-run team have been hosting weddings, parties, and theatrical events at Combe Manor Barns for over 20 years. Being a dry-hire venue, you are free to enlist outside vendors and services to form your own custom package. The team endeavour to do all they can to ensure you have a wedding day that feels entirely personal to you. This includes providing access to the space for several days before the day and giving ample time to collect any items afterwards—ideal for DIY weddings. Backed by their extensive experience, they are happy to lend advice on sourcing outside caterers, bar staff, florists, and more to best serve your budget. Stunning Venue with the Loveliest of Hosts
Combe Manor is stunning! The barns, house, and surroundings all make for a perfect wedding day. Nothing felt like too much for the owner, any query big or small was answered promptly and on the day we set up she was there offering support and anything we needed to set the barns up for our special day. On the day she was with us all the way, even taking some candid photos which was lovely to see a couple of days later while waiting for the professional ones.
I can't say anything negative about our experience with Combe Manor Barns, other than it went past too quickly!

Amazing venue!
Combe Manor is an exceptional venue and was absolutely perfect for our wedding day in August this year. The rolling countryside is an absolutely stunning backdrop and we had so many compliments from our guests on the setting. Being able to put our own touch on the venue through decoration etc only added to the day and made it that extra bit special to us. Sybille is very friendly, helpful and flexible. She made plenty of suggestions to help organise our day and was on hand throughout to make sure the day went smoothly. Combe will always be a special place for us and we feel very grateful we had our wedding day there. Thank you again to Sybille and her team!

Excellent - the perfect venue!
We could not be happier with Combe Manor Barns - the venue owner, Sybille, was incredibly helpful, responsive and flexible, enabling us to host the most wonderful day in her beautiful barns. We, and all of our guests, would most certainly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a unique space to celebrate their special day. Thank you so much for making our wedding such a memorable occasion for everyone involved!

Perfect in Every Way
My daughter and her fiancé wanted a wedding they could design themselves and in a picturesque setting. Combe Manor was the perfect solution. The support and involvement of the owner Sybille helped make the day a huge success.

Would 110% recommend
It is difficult to know where to start when Sybille carried us through the whole process with such professionalism and subtle humour!
We really didn't now where to start and, being an 'older couple' wanted as little fuss as possible. Combe Manor Barns proved the perfect venue for us, with so much flexibility, so much already available in situ and with Sybille there in the background to answer every question by return.
The weather was not on our side but the sun came out, we were able to use the outside space for our reception, the lawns had all been mown, chairs and parasols were already out and guests could just relax. There were so many possibilities for photographs, the well equipped kitchen made the evening meal possible for our wonderful caterers, Vaughan's Kitchens, who were recommended by Sybille and the band were shown any equipment that they needed. We really couldn't have asked for more and would 110% recommend Combe Manor Barns for all that it provides in such a beautiful setting. Nick & Jane

October 2022 Wedding
Combe Manor Barns was the perfect venue for our wedding. The barns are beautiful and offer great flexibility to style the space in exactly the way you want. We had our ceremony in one half of the barns and dinner set up in the other with the drinks reception outside on the lawn. We were blessed with a gorgeous sunny autumnal day which made for some beautiful photos in the surrounding countryside.
Sybille was fantastic and couldn’t have been more helpful with recommending local suppliers, sharing advice on how to make our day run smoothly and being really accommodating with how we wanted to use the barns and outdoor space. She made the planning process really enjoyable and relaxed for us and was on hand to answer all of our questions in the months and days leading up to our wedding.

2nd July 2022 Combe Manor Barns
We recently had the pleasure of getting married at Combe Manor Barns and were asked by Sybille to write a review. I thought I would look at some of the 35 (all 5-star) reviews on the Hitched website to give me some clues. I can honestly say that those reviews have put into words our experience far better than anything I can say. Sybille is the consummate wedding professional and the venue is absolutely wonderful. I cannot recommend Combe Manor highly enough for those wanting to arrange their own wedding; our choices of a hog roast and a live jazz band were enhanced by the backdrop of a rustic barn and a nearby Manor House.

We couldn't recommend Combe Manor Barns enough!
Combe Manor Barns was the second wedding venue we visited, and we were sold the moment we drove through the stunning valley into the village. This is a truly unique location, and we couldn’t be more delighted with our Wedding Day.
Sybille is a first-class host, a rarity in the industry who’s principle focus is your day. Not only do you get the venue for the whole weekend, making the setting up and clearing down experience far more relaxed, but Sybille will gladly provide advice on how to make the day run well, and how to make the best of the beautiful barn and courtyard. She was extremely kind when we had to postpone during COVID, bending over backwards to fit our day in during an extremely busy year for weddings.
The whole venue is a perfect combination of ‘do it yourself’, with all the high-end professional equipment required to do it well. The barn is exceptionally well-stocked for many different styles and layouts for your day, with Sybille on-hand to make your dream a reality.

Fantastic wedding venue and service
Combe Manor Barns was the first venue we went to visit when planning our wedding, and we realised very quickly that we didn't need to go and look at any others! We instantly fell in love with the stunning countryside views, the spacious L-shaped barn with plenty of room for eating and dancing, and the fact that we could have EVERYTHING, including a church service, all in one location, so that our guests didn't have to travel between our ceremony and reception. Not only this, but they only hold one wedding a week, meaning we could access the barns and church for a few days before and after the wedding day which was invaluable to relieving some of the stress of setting up!
Sybille was wonderful to work with throughout and helped to make the planning process straightforward, with a list of recommended suppliers to help narrow down our searches for caterers etc., and plenty of tips and advice along the way. She was also very accommodating when we had to postpone our wedding in 2021. We would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone looking to plan a barn wedding in Berkshire.

Gorgeous barn venue in rural Berkshire
Combe Manor Barns was the first wedding venue we visited when starting our search in 2019 and we knew instantly it was the venue for us. Despite date changes and the challenges of the pandemic, Sybille was incredibly accommodating and communicative throughout the entire process, and we finally had our celebration in May 2022. It was absolutely worth the wait!
The venue is unique in that it allows for only one wedding a week, and you’re given access to setup from the Wednesday before your wedding day – this made the planning process so much more enjoyable and relaxed, and the barns really felt like ‘ours’ by the time our day came around.
The barns are well-thought-out and have everything you need to organise a wonderful event, with the added bonus of being a blank canvas and allowing people to put their own stamp on it by choosing their own décor and suppliers. The countryside and surrounds are equally as stunning, and I really appreciated having access to the bridal suite in the manor house to get ready onsite on the day itself. We really couldn’t fault our experience!

A naturally beautiful venue
A truly relaxed, beautiful countryside venue. With only one wedding a week, Combe Manor Barns becomes your home. The barns are naturally beautiful but the ability and flexibility to style the venue as your own and the quick responsiveness from Sybille means that the whole wedding journey is thoroughly enjoyable. There has been a lot of thought gone into the venue and that really shows. We can't recommend Combe Manor Barns enough and wish we could do it all over again.

Beautiful memorable Wedding Day at Combe Manor
What an amazing stunning location to celebrate my wedding day. It has everything we needed to enjoy our big day. Stunning location, fantastic support and guidance from the barn owners, the best facilities to provide you with everything you need for the caterers, DJ, bar staff etc.
Inside the barn is amazing and looks gorgeous.

A beautiful, friendly, well organised venue
Combe Manor, and Sybille, blew us away from the moment we first visited, and our opinion was only strengthened with every interaction we had. Not only is it a stunning venue, but throughout all the Covid cancellations and the run up to finally having our big day, Sybille was calming, full of information and tips, and had a handle on everything going on. The day itself was perfect, I can’t recall a single thing that didn’t run smoothly. Our suppliers were happy, our guests were happy, and we cannot wait to see the photos of us in the daffodils following our wedding in the beautiful little church. I don’t think we could have asked for anything more, literally a perfect wedding!

Exactly what we hoped for!
Alec and I had a great experience with Combe Manor Barns for our wedding in April. Sybille was amazing to work with as she was very flexible and accommodating to all our needs and requests. She was always on hand to help with any questions and to give advice as to how things had been done previously. It meant that we could really bring our vision of what we wanted the Barns to look like and it surpassed what we had in mind. We added faux trees, festoon lighting, drapes and photos so it felt very personalised!
The facilities are all brilliant and very well looked after. The Barns were spotless on our arrival and the tables and chairs already in place. Many of our suppliers had been to the Barns before meaning very easy delivery/collection of the bar/wine/crockery/linen etc. We couldn't recommend Combe Manor Barns and Sybille more highly! We had the most perfect day and are hugely grateful for Sybille and her team!!
