I was part of a bridal party staying over at the hotel and had the best of time
Nothing was too much for the staff and both my room.and the room where we got ready were perfect.

17.05.25 Our WEDDING DAY!

From the moment we viewed The Bruntsfield we loved it. Charlotte showed us around and her energy and personality pretty much sold it for us. The hotel is lovely and the function room and courtyard were perfect for the type of wedding we hoped to have. Also, the fact the hotel is dog friendly and wheelchair accessible was a real deciding factor. Our little dog Coco had her last day out there before she sadly passed away and she loved it too.

After we booked, we spent a lot of time discussing plans with Imogen and Ferris, and then Adam closer to the wedding. Imogen, in particular, was absolutely fabulous throughout the planning process, she was very patient, answering the thousands of questions we had and dealing with any concerns swiftly and professionally . By the time the wedding came, she had written a document with a log of everything we had discussed with all details for the day covered. My friend had made our wedding invites on Canva, we sent the design to Imogen, and she added it to the table plans, drinks vouchers for guests and the signs for the buffet food, which was a lovely personal touch. She was extremely supportive right up to the wedding day when seating plans changed at the last minute due to ill loved ones, she was a gem.

We visited the venue multiple times on their wedding open nights, to meet with Roni from All Wrapped Up Events who the hotel also recommended to provide room decorations. It was really helpful to see options set up in the venue and Roni was great to work with and very reasonable priced!

Adam was super helpful during planning, meeting with our master of ceremonies to walk around the venue and discuss the running order for the day. He also hosted our food tasting, offering suggestions and recommendations when we were unsure, which was really helpful. We finally decided on BBQ style buffet food which was absolutely delicious! We also wanted cocktails for the drinks reception which Adam was happy to accommodate. We had Cosmopolitans and Espresso Martini's which are our favourites, the Bruntsfield do some of the best in Edinburgh! These were also available to guests in the function room bar, which went down a treat! The bar staff even brought us one each right after the ceremony which was a nice unexpected touch!
Adam also ensured we had access to the venue the evening before for Roni to dress the tables and for us to set up our snack wall and guest book, which prevented added stress on the morning of the wedding!

The Bruntsfield use CEE DEE Entertainments for the disco and they were so good. They were happy to use our specific playlist, which was super important to us as we had lots of family favourites on there which made the day really personal.

Throughout the day, the staff at the Bruntsfield were totally on the ball, there was never a queue at the bar or at the buffet despite us having close to 100 guests, they were so professional!

We stayed for a few extra nights after the wedding with our dog Cuba and the staff couldn't do enough for us. One of the kitchen staff helped us up to our room with the leftover cake. At breakfast, staff asked how our day had gone and on the Monday, Adam was on duty and made the effort to come and check in on how our day had went, This was a really nice touch..
Archie gave us a cocktail on the house the day after the wedding, this made us feel special. Him and Chris also chatted away to Cuba.

The reception stay were so friendly and attentive, in particular Andrew who was working throughout our stay and really made us feel like guests of honour for our stay!

We literally had the best day of our lives, and The Bruntsfield played a massive part in that. We cannot thank them enough. Choosing them as our venue after 18 years together, was the best decision we made. We will never forget it.

Thank you to the team at the Bruntsfield. My husband and I got married there in December and we are incredibly grateful to the wonderful team of people that work there. From the sales manager to the F&B team, they made the impossible become possible and our special day was unforgettable. Special mention to Ferris and Charlotte who really took care of us and helped make our dreams come true!!! We could never thank you enough!

Had a great time at this lovely hotel. Has a very scottish feel with a great location.

The Bruntsfield hotel is a beautiful place, clean rooms and wonderful helpful staff

The staff of the Bruntsfield went above and beyond to make sure my sister’s special day was memorable , I was so happy to stay the night before in the hotel's bridal suite with her and her friends! the room is truly massive with a huge bathroom and a lounge area, perfect for makeup :)
