Thank you so much for our perfect dream day!
We had a major crisis a mere 3 weeks before our wedding date when our original venue went into administration and would be closed before our big day. Amazingly and luckily for us, the Old Vic were available and turned our crisis around immediately. Nikki the events manager instantly put us at ease and we knew we'd be in highly capable hands at this very stressful time.Sent on 21/06/2019
From meetings over coffee to final talks a few days before the big day, Fosters turned all our original plans into reality and were so open to our somewhat unconventional ideas!
We're admittedly slight control freaks, but the amazing staff followed all our plans and made all the tables look wonderful in such a beautiful room. All the staff were very friendly and so attentive. We were even given our own dressing room to change into our evening outfits with our names on the door!
The whole day and evening ran so smoothly and everything went to plan, not to mention the incredible food supplied by Fosters whose catering was the best many of our wedding guests had ever experienced.
Thank you so much Old Vic and Fosters for turning our nightmare scenario into a perfect dream day!”

The First Wedding
Where do we start?! We had the perfect wedding at Bristol Old Vic, we can't thank you and your colleagues enough. It was the perfect mix of impeccable service whilst still feeling informal and really 'us'! All of our guests had a fab time and we've had countless compliments about the service and the food - hands down the best wedding food anyone has had! The waiting staff were so lovely - I know there was a few last-minute changes like getting the mic set up and adjusting the music volume and you dealt with it wonderfully.Sent on 13/02/2019
The table set up and room looked exactly as I imagined, and I couldn't believe how quickly you did it! There were just so many tiny touches that made everything so easy for us and we could just enjoy the day - you have an amazing team there!
A special thanks to you for making the whole planning process so easy, and for guiding us through. I'm so glad you called me all those months ago, when the Old Vic was a building site and we made the visit even after my car broke down! You were so calm and kind on the morning of the wedding too, helping my mum and the bridesmaids get sorted, and so accommodating when we were setting up on Friday.
We have honestly had so many lovely compliments on the venue, service and food - you guys are just amazing and it was everything we wanted it to be. I know there will be many more happy couples getting hitched at the Old Vic, but it felt very special to be the first.
