Your civil ceremony can take place either in the finely furnished, atmospheric Great Hall or in the 18th century Barn featuring original oak beams and flagstone floor. Host your wedding breakfast in our event space, barn or even outside in the grounds if the sun is shining.
Originally built in 1590, Blakesley Hall is a stunning marriage of beautiful interiors, and breath-taking gardens. The enchanting approach into the Great Hall will have you feeling as though you’ve stepped back in time!
The Great Hall can accommodate 40 guests throughout the day, allowing for a wonderfully intimate atmosphere as you celebrate saying ‘I do’ to the person you love. Finely furnished in a charming 17th century style, the hall adds an extra layer or magic to your ceremony.
Once you’ve exchanged vows, you will sign the register on the long table - a surviving item listed on the 1684 Blakesley inventory – as an official newlywed couple!
If you are looking to host a wedding for up to 60 guests, Blakesley can accommodate you in their rustic, 17th century Barn. Bursting with original oak beams, and a flagstone floor it is the perfect place for a larger celebration.
The glass screen, behind the large barn doors, provides wonderful views across the hall and gardens. The formal lawns, orchard, and traditional herb garden offer excellent opportunities for photographs
