This really is the most special place for a wedding.
A lovely home in a wonderful rural setting.
We weren't too lucky with the sunshine ( although it did come out just as the bride arrived !) but it was dry for the outdoor photographs. Really though it was so beautiful inside that guests just lingered in.
The historic interior and furnishings add to the feeling of comfort and ambiance to make the day unforgettable.
The owners are very accommodating and do their utmost to do everything they can to make it a day to remember. They certainly know the property and what works and are only too happy to share their experience and advise on ideas.
So glad we found it.

Beautiful rooms and grounds

Beautiful location for the wedding, many beautiful rooms available. We had over 100 guests so the ceremony took place in the upstairs ballroom, followed by drinks in the stunning orangery and adjoining rooms which was very helpful as the weather was not as we'd hoped.
Perfect venue for the perfect day....

We got married at Blaisdon Hall in July and had the most perfect day at Blasidon Hall. Olesya our wedding planner made everything so simple, she literally organised every tiny detail including speaking directly to all of our suppliers - including meeting with the bus company beforehand, to numerous conversations with the band to arranging delivery of the flowers with the florist. Nothing was too much for her, I really can't thank her enough for making sure everything was perfect.
I got ready at the venue in the morning with my 6 bridesmaids and parents and we had such an amazing morning, wandering around the grounds. We got married in the grand hall with 130 people, which was a great amount for the venue so it felt full but not too squeezed in. After we had champagne and canapes on the lawn with a string quartet. The the wedding breakfast was back in the grand hall, followed by dancing in the conservatory.
We used fosters as our caterers which is one of the recommended caterers - I couldn't fault them, they were just brilliant. Andy and his fabulous staff looked after us and our guests. Food and drink just appeared before we even thought about it. It was top-restaurant quality and while it may not have been the cheapest, it was absolutely delicious - we had so many comments after the wedding about how great the food was.
Blaisdon Hall is the most beautiful setting for a wedding, it's so green and peaceful. The second you go up the drive you will be blown away - I really can't recommend this venue enough. We had the most wonderful day that we will never forget. Thank you Ellena and Olesya.

Catching up on my blogs now and what better place to start than with Terri and Jon’s wedding at stunning Blaisdon Hall. From what I gather, Blaisdon Hall is relatively new on the wedding scene but I must say if you’re reading this and speccing out potential wedding venues then this place is pretty special and should definitely be on your shortlist.
You can catch up on Terri and Jon’s pre wedding pictures at Blaisdon Hall by clicking here although we all knew, weather permitting, the wedding shots would be even better!
Spending the morning with Terri and her “ladies” was a scream. Complete chaos, fizz, tears and plenty of giggles in one of the loveliest bridal suites you could imagine made it the perfect start to the day.
The ceremony took place in the gorgeous orangery and with tons of natural light to play with, made for some lovely pictures. Terri did look amazing.
Soon after it was outside in to the sunshine and what better way to relax than…a seriously competitive game Tug of War! The thing I love about weddings nowadays is the weird and wonderful things people include, making their own weddings unique. Giant Jenga, signing benches, picture frames hanging in trees and now Tug of War!
I was so hoping we had a sunny day and luckily that’s exactly what we got. Terri and Jon really did have the most wonderful day, smiling throughout, the camera absolutely loved them as did I.
The best day of our lives!

Me and my husband and all of our guests had such a fantastic day on our wedding day. The staff at Blaisdon Hall were fantastic and handled everything really well. The venue is absolutely stunning. I stayed in the bridal suite the night before with my best friend and we had a lovely breakfast on the morning of the wedding. Then my bridesmaids arrived and we enjoyed a wonderful morning getting ready together. Our wedding co-ordinator, Olesya, was absolutely fantastic. The day ran really smoothly with thanks to her. I only wish we could do it all again! I would highly recommend Blaisdon Hall as a wedding venue. It is truely beautiful and the staff are fantastic.
Jo & Will's Wedding - 1.11.13

We had the most incredible Wedding day, it was totally unforgettable. After getting married just down the road at the church in Westbury-on-Severn we had our reception at Blaisdon Hall.
Blaisdon was the perfect venue for our dream wedding, it felt like a fairytale castle with beautiful views overlooking the River Severn valley with the spire of the church where we had just been married in the foreground.
Blaisdon Hall felt very special, grand but also very unique and welcoming. The fact that there were many different rooms, each with their own character was very appealing to us and worked very well allowing our guests to enjoy a quiet drink or to have a dance with the band.
We had a fantastic live band (The Kim Cypher Dancin' Easy Band) playing in the stunning orangery and this worked perfectly as a dance floor.
Our Wedding Breakfast was upstairs in the incredibly spacious and elegant Ball Room which seated our 120 guest comfortably.
As our Wedding was in November the fact that there was a log fire roaring in the oak panelled bar room was a delightful feature that our guests really appreciated.
We had our photographs taken in a natural outdoor setting in the forested trails around the grounds which worked really well.
The bedrooms were a massive luxury and you certainly felt like royalty.
After an enjoyable breakfast with our family and close friends the next morning we enjoyed a relaxing walk around some of the stunning grounds close to the main house.
We would highly recommend Blaisdon Hall as a venue in idyllic countryside with huge character and historical significance that makes it the most special of wedding venues.
