We got married at Blackbrook, with only 9 months of planning time due to previous venues cancelling our date. We married on Halloween and we couldn’t fault a single thing. From the first look round Rebecca put us at ease, answered all of our questions and made us feel like nothing was too much hassle. She made it possible for all of our previous bits of planning to take place so that we didn’t loose out. We didn’t think it could get much better and when we were introduced to our wedding coordinator Lisa we honestly felt like we’d struck gold. The day was perfect, the staff worked tirelessly, they hauled pumpkins from the venues to the woods so we could get the spooky pictures we’d dreamt about. We had a team of helpers on hand the day before to help us set up and what we’d envisioned to be a diy wedding turned into a all hands on deck affair, we couldn’t be more grateful. We’d recommend this venue and their wonderful staff to everyone. The communication was brilliant, the rooms were beautiful and the space worked so well for everything we wanted. 🎃🧡 D&C

We cannot thank Gary and the Blackbrook Barns team enough for making our wedding day the happiest day of our lives. From the moment we visited the venue, the entire team made us feel comfortable and right at home. The planning process was easy and straight forward, with Gary being in regular contact and arranging meetings so we could run through the finer details for the day. The team made our lives so easy and organised everything for us, so we had no worries at all. On the day, we made good use of the beautiful bride and grooms’ rooms, with the delicious breakfast platter and drinks all set out for us. Gary and the team looked after us all day, ensuring everything ran smoothly, that we were on schedule and took care of speaking to our suppliers so all we had to do was relax and enjoy our day.

The venue is simply stunning, with beautiful, exposed brickwork, foliage, and amazing lighting, and it meant we could keep our own decorations nice and simple, reducing the overall cost and keeping the planning stress-free. The food and drink was also perfect, the food was delicious, piping hot and the portions were very generous.

Matt and I loved every second of our wedding at Blackbrook Barns, our only wish is that we could turn back time and do it all again! We had amazing feedback from our guests as well who all had the best time, they loved the venue, the food and everything about the whole day.

The team at Blackbrook were incredibly accommodating and made sure our event went perfectly. We can't recommend them enough, they honestly felt like part of the family and everyone who attended commented on how lovely the venue and the staff were. Thank you!

We honestly don’t have enough words to thank our incredible wedding venue team for making our special day absolutely perfect. From the moment we found Blackbrook Barns — we knew it was the one. It felt like home straight away, and throughout the entire planning process and wedding day itself, that feeling only grew stronger.

The team went above and beyond in every single way. No idea was too big or too small — from personalised drink toppers and custom signage to our DIY decorations, they supported it all with enthusiasm, care, and a genuine desire to bring our vision to life. They even made sure our dog Toby felt totally at ease and part of the celebration, which meant the world to us.

A huge thank you to Lisa and Lisa, who helped us through the first six months of planning and were always there with guidance, support, and encouragement. You helped us shape the day into something we’ll never forget.

And a MASSIVE shoutout to Gary — the hero of the day — who ran everything behind the scenes with calm confidence and made sure every single moment ran smoothly. You truly made every wish come true and gave us the gift of being able to fully enjoy our day without a worry.

On the Day, Lisa was absolutely amazing from last minute speech print outs, to welcoming all the bride team and making sure the day was how we imagined it - we are so grateful.

The venue it self had lots of space for our guests from a beautiful getting ready room, to the bar, ceremony room, reception room, and outdoor areas for everyone to enjoy.

The food was fantastic and the tasting evening really helped with picking our options and help us envision the day. Jenkinsons were great with any special requests and the food was amazing - all our guests were very happy.

Communication with Lisa at Blackbrook Barns was excellent from day one. We had 100% trust that they would handle our perfect day and boy did they deliver. We love the interior design and Lisa and her team made the venue look wonderful with all the decor we had provided. On the day the transitions between the venue spaces was fluid and all our guests commented on what a spectacular venue it was. The fact that there are two getting ready areas (green room & pink room) was ideal, especially for two brides. Lisa went above and beyond, even when it came down to the small details - her care and commitment really shone through. Gary took over the coordinating late afternoon / evening and his experience and professionalism was second to none. Overall the entire team were outstanding and we can’t recommend this venue enough - smooth running of the day, all questions were answered throughout from the minute we enquired about having our wedding at this venue and flexible to fulfil our preferences for our special day. Having Jenkinsons on board as the caterer at this venue is brilliant, we loved the taster evening and had many compliments from guests on how lovely the food was, especially the yummy chocolate brownie! From the first time we walked in to the venue, we were made to feel so welcome. The people reflected the beautiful surroundings. On the day, Gary made sure our day was as amazing and prefect as we could have wished for. He guided us through the day and everything ran like clockwork, we didn't have to think about a thing. They catered for all our needs and made fabulous recommendations for suppliers they worked with. We can't thank him and his team enough!

Rebecca Kelly, the incredible owner and also our talented musician, went above and beyond at every stage. Her attention to detail, warmth, and genuine passion for what she does made us feel completely at ease and incredibly supported, especially as we opted for a less formal style wedding against some of the traditions.

We also have to give a huge thank you to Naomi, our wedding coordinator. She was a total superstar - calm, organised, and completely on the ball from day one. Naomi made sure every little detail was taken care of, and her kind and professional approach meant we could actually relax and enjoy the day knowing everything was in safe hands.

Truly, the whole team couldn’t have done more for us if they tried. Their effort, care, and love for what they do shone through in every single moment. So many of our guests have told us how attentive and friendly the staff were.

I will never be able to fathom enough appreciation or words of gratitude for Blackbrook Barns and their staff. The venue literally took my breath away, it’s a home for the day. The love and attention that has been gathered for the venue, from decoration, scents and staff far surpass any venue that we looked at. On top of the incredibly beautiful venue, grounds and backdrop, the staff at Blackbrook are just the most incredible team of people to have by your side for your special day. My husband and I got engaged and married within 6 months and Blackbrook accommodated every single request we had. Their venue managers are absolutely stellar. I am so honoured to have had their guidance and support on my day. No task was big or complicated, they made it such a breeze and all with love and smiles. Blackbrook is a fairly new wedding venue, meeting Rebecca taking us round, we instantly just knew the venue was the one for us! If you love the aesthetic, limewash walls, vertical tiling, panelling, all absolutely on point decor & the most beautiful barn, cowshed & grounds which all just look so perfect on photos! Bethan Kate Photography knew exactly where all the best photo opportunities were as well as Unity Videography!

I get it, a new venue, a bit of a risk, but oh my goodness this risk paid off! Not only is the venue beautiful .. including the best bridal and groom rooms to get ready- the best bit about this all is Lisa, the wedding coordinator!

Lisa, where do we even start… nothing was too much, always available, always had good ideas, down to earth, humble, we spoke everything through with her & shed tell us her honest views in the most diplomatic way! She’s humble, down to earth & absolutely everything you want as a wedding coordinator! On the day everything was calm, she had everything running as if she has done weddings every single day of her life- a true perfectionist and very experienced! Blackbrook has certainly invested in Lisa & she is definitely an asset- getting married is such a big deal & Lisa definitely helps in making the day the most special day, & absolutely genuinely wants this for you too!

We had our wedding here on 21st June and we couldn’t recommend Blackbrook Barns enough! It is a very beautiful wedding venue and the getting ready rooms were amazing for getting ready in the morning. The team was so supportive and were a huge help throughout the whole process. We received so many compliments on the choice of venue from our guests.

We had our wedding at Blackbrook Barns back in April and it exceeded our expectations! Lisa T & Lisa S worked closely with us from start to finish, ensuring that even the smallest details were handled with care, allowing us to focus on enjoying our day. The team were always there for any questions I had and made the whole experience stress free.

The whole day went so smoothly from getting ready in the bridal suite, which was so spacious for hair, makeup and putting on the dress, to the groom party arriving and utilising their separate room that overlooks into the beautiful long barn which was the ceremony room. Then there were lots of great spots on the venue grounds for photos.

The talented Rebecca Kelly and her dad helped to create the right atmosphere for our special day with top class live music during our ceremony and cocktail hour. All the guests loved the venue just as much as we did and had so many compliments for the stunning floral arrangements - Thank you Loren and the team from the Perfect Day Wedding Flowers.

The Cow Shed was incredible for our reception, had the perfect backdrop and natural light coming in. It gave an intimate atmosphere for our guests. The food was exceptional – every dish was full of flavour and the staff were so attentive and we were impressed by how flexible the kitchen was in accommodating various dietary needs. Highly recommend Jenkinsons Caterers.
