About The House of Airey

Established in 2009 we are proud to be a British small business, and our service reflects our family style; friendly, personable and meticulous. 

At The House of Airey we design and produce the perfect stationery for every type of wedding or event. We only use the best quality cardstock and have a massive range of card in almost 300 different shades, textures and finishes, so we can ensure we match your colour scheme perfectly. And if we don't have it, we'll do our utmost to find you the closest possible match. 

We offer flat, folded and pocketfold options as standard, but we often take on bespoke work designing stationery to a specific theme, i.e. airline/train tickets.

    We worked with The House of Airey to create invitations which gave all of our guests all of the information we needed for our wedding. We thought going for a bespoke invitation would be a lot of money and time, and it really wasn't. Rachel came up with concepts and we picked what we liked from each and this was all put together to create exactly what we wanted. The invitations are perfect and we have had lots of comments from our guests already! we will definitely be using The House of Airey for our on the day items too.

Frequently Asked Questions

When do I need to start thinking about my wedding invitations?

If you've set your date and decided on your colour scheme and/or theme then it's time to get looking. If you're looking to send 'Save the Date' Cards then best to get in touch 12-13 months before the wedding. All of our work is fully customised so in rare cases it can take some time to get the design spot on. We don't want you to feel rushed into making decisions. We do get booked up during the busy months (Dec - June) so it's worth enquiring early so we can keep a diary slot free for you. This costs just £20 and is fully refundable if you decide to purchase elsewhere.

Is there a required minimum order?

No, we only ask you make sure you order all you need in the first instance (plus a couple of spares) as we would need to find space in the diary for additions, and wouldn't want you to have to wait longer for a few extras!

How much is postage and packaging for orders?

P&P varies, for invitations is usually around £5, for larger items such as venue stationary items and table plans it's usually around £12-£15 within the UK. If you live close enough, obviously you're more than welcome to collect. :)

What are the forms of payment?

We usually ask for a BACS transfer, but we are able to accept Paypal and Credit Cards also. Payment needs to be made in full prior to orders being printed and assembled.

Does the invitation cost also cover the printing?

Yes, we also offer little extras such as guest name printing and envelope printing for small additional fees.

Is there a limited selection of invitation styles or can they be customised?

All our items are fully customised, we have a gallery of recent work on our website but we don't sell specific themes, it's all very much tailored to the individual couple's requirements. All we ask is that you give us an idea of what parts of which of our previous work you particularly like, and then we can stitch those together, incorporating your colour scheme and hopefully we'll be nearly there!

What are your delivery times?

Lead times are normally 2-3 weeks from design sign-off, however we do ask you get in touch and reserve a diary space as these can get booked up and we hate having to turn people away. :(

What kind of printing do you offer?

For most orders we use an in house A2 printer, it's all singing and all dancing and we picked it because of the A-Mazing print quality.
