Terms and Conditions


Promoter is Hitched Limited

The competitions are open to UK residents, aged 18 or over except the Promoter’s employees or contractors and anyone connected with the promotion or their direct family members.

Competition runs 05/02/2020 – 23:59 on 01/06/2020. By entering these promotions, the participants agree to be bound these terms and conditions.

Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.

Entrants must supply the details requested to Hitched Limited. We shall use the entrants personal details in accordance with the Hitched Limited Privacy Policy.

Each entrant may only enter each competition once. Bulk entries made by third parties will not be permitted.

The winning entrants will be the first correct entry drawn at random from each competitions correct entries after the closing date. The Promoter’s decision as to the winner is final and no correspondence relating to the promotion will be entered into. The Promoter may share the details of the winners with the prize provider for the purposes of fulfilling the prizes.

The winners will be notified within 28 days of the close of the promotion by email. If the winner cannot be contacted or fails to respond within 28 days of such notification being sent, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to a runner up, or re-offer the prize in any future promotion.

The prize consists of one-night accommodation for two in a classic room with dinner, breakfast and a dedicated meeting with the onsite wedding planner to explore the venue at a Mercure hotel from the below list:

Dinner is based on a supplement per person, hotel supplements are as follows:

Mercure Farnham Bush Hotel – £25 supplement per person
Mercure Warwickshire Walton Hall Hotel & Spa – £40 supplement per person
Mercure Gloucester Bowden Hall Hotel – £25 supplement per person to be spent on the brasserie menu
Mercure Sheffield Kenwood Hall Hotel & Spa – £25 supplement per person

All prizes are to be redeemed for stays until 23 December 2020, any prize that has not been redeemed by this date will be forfeited.

Stay is subject to availability at the time of booking and does not include black out/peak seasonal dates, please contact the relevant hotel for precise dates. Please be aware that for some hotels there are restrictions on Saturday night stays, so please check with the hotel when booking. All other costs and expenses, including but not limited to drinks, travel and room service, will be the responsibility of the winner.

The prize does not include additional expenses i.e. travel costs, room telephone costs etc. Any additional extras or persons will be charged on departure.

The prize is non-transferable, has no cash value and no change or other substitution will be given. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of the same or greater value.

The winner is strictly prohibited from selling the hotel prize stay to a third party.

The promoter will not provide any refund or compensation in the event of any cancellation or postponement.

The surname and county of residence of the winners will be available upon request by sending an SAE to Hitched Limited Mercure competition, Vineyard House, 44 Brook Green, W6 7BT within two months of the closing date of the promotion. The Promoter will contact the winners before releasing this information and provide the winners the opportunity to object or limit the amount of information shared.

The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions or to cancel, alter or amend the promotion at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, or if circumstances arise outside of its control.

The Promoter does not accept any responsibility for lost, delayed or fraudulent entries.

The Promoter excludes liability to the full extent permitted by law for any loss, damage or injury occurring to the participant arising from his or her entry in to the promotion or occurring to the winners arising from his or her acceptance of the prize.


The promotion is subject to the laws of England.
