Stanbrook Abbey – Worcestershire

Those looking for a historic wedding venue will adore Stanbrook Abbey! The venue was home to the closed order of Benedictine nuns from 1795 to 2009, and the chapel on the premises was built in the 1800s, by the sons of Augustus Pugin in their signature gothic style. The former church is a stunning setting for your ceremony.

It’s a gorgeous country wedding venue which boasts a variety of options for your wedding celebrations, including a secluded woodland for festival weddings and the Castle Barn. Belvoir Castle – Leicestershire

Couples dreaming of a fairy tale wedding will love Belvoir Castle. There is a chapel at the castle, so if you’d rather have a religious ceremony you can have one on site. The venue can host up to 400 guests so if you’re looking for a wedding venue with larger capacity, this could be the one.

This Blackpool Wedding Chapel is a chapel just for ceremonies – there’s the Tower View Room, with views of Blackpool’s Iconic Tower, the Sea View Room with views across the sea and the Register Office. Hooton Pagnell Hall – South Yorkshire

If you’re looking for a luxurious, exclusive wedding venue in South Yorkshire, consider Hooten Pagnell Hall, which hosts just six weddings a year. You can marry in the main hall, the summer house or even in the gardens – but the venue also boasts a beautiful Norman church just a short walk from the hall.

You can host both your wedding ceremony and reception at Capesthorne Hall, and they can accommodate larger wedding parties in a marquee onsite, complete with a starlit canopy. There is a private family chapel at the wedding venue where you can have your marriage blessed following your civil ceremony. It’s the perfect option if you’re looking for a compromise when it comes to the type of ceremony you have.

Oxnead Hall – Norfolk

This beautiful country wedding venue is midway between Norwich and the coast, making it a pretty location that is convenient to get to. The 14 acres of land Oxnead Hall sits within are near to the banks of the River Bure, so you’ve got amazing scenery for your pictures. There is a choose of ceremony and reception options, including the rustic barn, the pretty Orangery or a marquee in the grounds. There is also a 13th century church, St. Michael’s Church, onsite for those who want a religious wedding ceremony.

Dalmahoy, A Marriott Hotel & Country Club – Lothian & Borders

If you’re looking for a Scottish wedding venue, consider this stunning Marriott venue, Dalmahoy. It’s a former Georgian Baronial Manor and is set within 1,000 acres of parkland. There are plenty of reasonable wedding packages to choose from and there’s an on-site church for religious wedding ceremonies, as well as the ability to have a civil or humanist ceremony there too.

Easterbrook Hall and The Crichton Church – Dumfries & Galloway

Those who are based in Scotland and dreaming of a traditional wedding should consider Easterbrook Hall and The Crichton Church, where you can marry in a traditional church wedding ceremony in the stunning mini cathedral style church before celebrating at the grand Easterbrook Hall. If you’d rather have a civil ceremony, you can marry on the terrace, in one of the rooms at Easterbrook or even in the garden. St Pierre, A Marriott Hotel & Country Club – Monmouthshire

This 14th century manor house, set within 400 acres of picturesque Welsh countryside, also has an 11th century church set in the grounds. Marriott's St Pierre offers marriage services and special ‘marriage anniversary’ services in the church, and civil ceremonies can also take place at the hotel.

St Audries Park – Somerset

St Audries Park is located within 100 acres of parkland complete with deer – perfect for picture opportunities. The venue also offers incredible sea views, elegant lawns and a picturesque backdrop of historic buildings. You can marry in the Orangery or at the beautiful onsite chapel.
