Our wedding preparation process was very much DIY - but we had no idea how it was all going to come together on the day which was making us super anxious. Thankfully, we found Jess.
Jess went above and beyond for us and made the lead up to our wedding and our wedding day a total joy (even if the weather had other ideas). I honestly do not know how we would have done it without her.
Anyone who is thinking about bringing Jess on board, do it - you will not regret it! -

Jess from Tide the Knot was an absolute pleasure work with - from the moment we met her at a wedding fair, her passion for her work, creativity and enthusiasm for delivering beautiful weddings (and breaking the ‘cookie cutter’ mould) shone through. Jess was our wedding stylist for our June wedding at Tunnels Beaches, North Devon. I cannot count the number of emails, video calls and messages we exchanged over the two years planning the decor, but in every single interaction Jess was our biggest cheerleader, hype woman and creative advisor. No dream was too wild, in fact Jess’ ideas evolved our initial vision and strengthened it! Jess ‘just gets it’ and it was incredible to see her mood boards come to life the morning of our big day. She worked effortlessly with our venue and florist to create the most beautiful ceremony, reception drinks and wedding breakfast layout I have ever seen. She was on time, organised and determined to create a beautiful environment. Our breaths were literally taken away when we walked into our dining room for the first time and our guests cannot stop raving about the setup! The star of the show was Jess’ table plan, using her arches (personalised to our colour scheme) to create an interactive table layout where guests could ‘follow the call of the disco ball’ and find their seats. Jess also personalised us our very own disco ball (with our new last name) which now takes pride of place in our home. If you are thinking of hiring Jess / Tide the Knot, you are making the best decision of your whole wedding planning journey!!! Thank you so much, Jess - you took so much stress off of us and genuinely made wedding planning fun, breezy and exciting!!! -

We genuinely don’t have enough words to express how incredible Jess was as our on-the-day wedding coordinator. Planning a marquee wedding comes with its own unique set of challenges, and Jess handled every single one with absolute grace, professionalism, and calm.
From the moment she arrived, she took complete control in the most reassuring and discreet way. She was everywhere—checking the suppliers, managing the timings, liaising with the caterers, making sure the musician had everything he needed, and even smoothing out the unexpected hiccups without us even noticing. She allowed us to completely relax and just enjoy the day, knowing everything was in the safest hands.
Jess’s attention to detail was next-level. She made sure our vision came to life exactly as we had imagined, and honestly, even better. The flow of the day was seamless, the setup of the marquee was flawless, and every little moment felt beautifully curated.
So many of our guests commented on how smoothly the day ran—and that is entirely down to Jess’s talent and hard work. If you’re thinking about hiring an on-the-day coordinator for your wedding, especially a marquee wedding, do yourself the biggest favour and book Jess. She is worth her weight in gold and was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.

Jess was our best “purchase” for the wedding without a doubt. She is an absolute expert in the wedding industry & from our very first meeting I felt like a huge weight had been lifted. Planning our DIY marquee wedding was proving very stressful with so many loose ends & things to think about like generators & toilets - Jess took so much anxiety away from the process & I didnt once have to worry about the day going to plan.
We booked Jess’s on the day coordination but the 8 months running up to the wedding we spoke often, Jess went through our day meticulously & has an incredible eye for detail. She gave us ideas, provided reassurance & our meetings were genuinely joyous!
Thanks to Jess our wedding day went seamlessly she rearranged seating plans for last minute drop outers, fixed broken portaloos (all without us knowing), timed the day to perfection, and was such a staple part of us enjoying our day. Not only is she perfect at her job she is the most wonderful person & our guests & suppliers loved her as much as we did.
When we look back at our wedding in years to come we will always remember what an integral part Jess played in making it the best day of our lives. Thank you so much Jess! -

Jess was hands down the best wedding co ordinater we could have had.
If you want a genuine, passionate, good listener and fantastic planner as part of your wedding journey and day then Jess is your women.
From the first time we met her, she made us instantly at ease, she really took the time to listen to our wants and desires and had a vast amount of knowledge and experience to help us in any way she could.
We could not fault the work Jess put in from start to finish and because of the work and love she put into our day, our wedding ran smoothly and our dream wedding came to life.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Jess for being a wedding wonder women. We will never forgot all you did for us and will be forever grateful that you played a massive part in our special day.

Working with Jess was nothing short of an absolute pleasure, she played such a vital role in our wedding planning, execution and coordination and it simply would have not happened without her passion and dedication! What an absolute dream to work with ❤️
From the moment of our first introductory call with Jess, we knew she was the right person to bring onboard to our wedding - she was just the best energy and positive vibe, we felt immediately excited about the prospect of planning this monumental weekend with her, and not overwhelmed as we had done prior to meeting!
Jess managed our many, many vendor conversations and details from the moment we started working together and right up to after the wedding, she was across every single detail and ensuring all ran to perfection. We both hold fairly busy jobs and she kept the utmost patience with us, ensuring we knew when decisions needed to be made and what the requirements from us were throughout. There was never a moment where a detail was missed, we were in fantastic hands.
Across the wedding weekend (a totally normal 3-day wedding! 🫠) both Jess and Michael BOSSED IT, they had every moment in hand and we couldn’t have asked for more. It was really such a wonderful and precious few days spent with our family and friends and both Jess and Michael were an extension of this too. We cannot thank them enough for being such an important part of this time in our lives - we will miss all our meetings, messages and calls!! We could not recommend them highly enough.

Ah, where do I start? To be honest, as the Groom, I was initially against hiring a Wedding Coordinator. I thought that between my partner and me, we could handle most of the tasks leading up to the wedding, and the wedding party could manage the rest on the day. However, I soon realised how wrong I was.
After securing a few vendors months in advance, we noticed that things were beginning to slip through the cracks, and we desperately needed guidance on how to best organise the day itself and keep on top of the vendors ensuring that everything was arriving when they said it would.
My partner began searching the Cornwall and Devon area, and that's when we found Jess, who had recently started her own business after years of experience in the industry. From the very beginning, Jess proved to be invaluable. She not only brought the expertise and advice we lacked, but she also had an extensive network of contacts across the county—which came in handy when our photographer unexpectedly dropped out a few months before the wedding.
In the months leading up to the big day, we met with Jess several times, both in person and online. She provided us with regularly updated schedules, ensuring every detail was meticulously planned. The day before the wedding, Jess took charge, guiding the groomsmen through the heavy lifting, helping the bridesmaids put the finishing touches on the marquee’s décor and ensuring that each seat in the ceremony was perfectly aligned (see pic). It was an immense relief to have someone so capable handling everything, and by the wedding day, we knew we were in the safest and most capable hands.
By the end of it all, Jess felt like part of the family. I know without a doubt that our special day wouldn’t have been the incredible experience it was without her. -

Jess handled the on the day coordination for our wedding in August and assisted with the pre-event setup the day before, and I genuinely don’t think we could have done it without her. From start to finish, she was an absolute dream to work with—proactive, regularly checking in, and always keeping us updated. She took charge of all communication with our suppliers leading up to the wedding, which made our lives so much easier. Jess has a calming presence, and even when I started panicking over small details in the days before the wedding, she always responded swiftly with solutions.
One standout moment was seven months before our wedding when our original photographer had to cancel. I reached out to Jess in a panic, and within a few hours, she came back with several amazing photographers who were available on our date and all happy to meet our budget.
I can't recommend Jess highly enough. She’s an incredible wedding coordinator and a genuinely lovely person to have around!
