When looking for a wedding planner, I was mindful that I was planning an Asian wedding and there would be certain expectations on order of ceremonies. When speaking with Loveth who represented Obol Events, I immediately developed trust in her. She came to our initial introductory conversation having done research, asking intellectually curious questions which all went to show her attention to detail, and her genuine desire to create an event that was tailored to me, not a vision that she had rolled out before. I felt listened to, and very much appreciated Loveth's flexibility in connecting with me (with a 5 hour timezone difference), keeping me up to speed. I was particularly impressed at how i felt like she was always going above my expectations - perhaps I didn't fully appreciate what her role was, but throughout she was always proactive, stepped up to take activities that I didn't expect, and became a reliable partner. I found her to be a calm, level-headed problem solver that was focused on ensuring I was having a great time, and not worrying about everything. She also had a team of 2 other people who were on hand to help with complicated logistics and different venues, including transporting flowers from one side of London to another. I had faith in Loveth's self-assuredness, and clear experience in event planning. She leveraged that experience to ensure that her first asian wedding was a success - asking valuable questions, and using initiative to deliver. I genuinely appreciated the great work she and her team did, and would 100% recommend her to anyone - don't assume you need someone who's done everything you want before, because Loveth will deliver on your vision regardless. -

Focusing on Joy
I highly recommend using OBOL events especially if you want a wedding where your focus is on the joy of the day and the fact that you’re marrying the love of your life.
Loveth and her team being present meant that I and my bridal team literally didn’t have to worry about anything. I remained calm and collected throughout the day knowing that everything was being sorted.
OBOL events was the point of contact for everything wedding related meaning that I was left to enjoy spending time with my bridal team, my mum, my daughter, my aunts and my bottle of champagne 😂
There’s no point in spending so much money on such a big day to be burdened with the technicalities of the day. There were no distractions & knowing that everything was being left in the hands of a responsible and capable team really allowed me to enjoy my wedding day. Thank you OBOL events -

Excellent Service
I can honestly say OBOL events consultancy exceeded my expectation. Loveth went above and beyond with helping us plan our wedding and she certainly delivered on the day, along with her team. I would definitely recommend using their services for planning a wedding and coordinating the day of the wedding. -
