Calm - A Wedding Planner / Manager should always be calm. Like a swan across the lake, nothing gets to us and nothing will get in the way of keeping everyone happy. Every event is about the people so this is at the forefront of every plan. We concentrate on the experiences of all involved, from the tastes, textures and temperatures to the smells and sounds.

Every wedding and every client is different. Its very important to us therefore that the assistance provided matches the circumstances. An initial phone call or skype chat will highlight what kind of help you need. Then a consultation is a must have to ensure we fully understand the stage you are at and what is most important to you.

Who would you recommend having a Planner to? "Anyone who wants to make sure their wedding day runs smoothly (so everyone :-)) and especially if you have a venue that is more 'DIY' and lots of different suppliers (caterers, bar, music etc) involved."   How do you feel the wedding was influenced with Annabel being part of it? "I honestly don't know how it could have run without her - and I certainly could not have relaxed or had the same experience. She ran the whole day for us from start to a fairly late finish - ensuring everyone was where they were supposed to be and all the guests had a fantastic time. Annabel was the best money we spent on the wedding - she was absolutely essential."   What top three tips would you give others having a DIY wedding? Bank transfer by direct debit or Paypal. Open to discuss if that doesnt work for you.

How do I know if I need a Planner or Coordinator?

A good planner will help you save time, money and stress. They talk through your ideas and advise using their experience to make your dream day a reality. They can also make sure you stay in budget and keep all your friends and family happy. Also, some couples find it hard to relax on their wedding day when they have had so much to do beforehand. A Planner will take the reins and handle all of your arrangements on your behalf so you can sit back and enjoy the special celebration.

I dont live in the UK, can Annabel still help?

Simply, yes. We have helped clients far away from us with the power of Skype and emails. Clients as far away as Singapore and Austrailia have been assisted with their planning as many couples are coming to our wonderful part of the world to get married but dont know much about the area and its wedding suppliers. The Venue has a Coordinator in house so do I need a Planner?

We recommend that a venue coordinator should be free to look after anything related to the venue. Sometimes it works better if they are available to handle any issues or just to manage their important details such as catering, staff, toilets, etc. A Planner will take care of the Wedding party and guest queries while they concentrate on their roles. Also a Planner will get to know the clients in a personal way so they understand not only all the decisions made in planning but why. This way they can keep an eye on the specific points of interest or concern and answer queries on behalf of the couple.
