Matt was really professional from start to finish. He arrived promptly and just cracked on straight away.

Matt was with us all day, from getting ready to partying through the night, and throughout the day, I distinctly remember thinking that I couldn't find him, which was a testament to how discreet he was, but looking back through the pictures he has taken, it's so clear that he didn't miss a single moment, we are so pleased with the gallery which he prepared for us.

Matt has a very calm and relaxed demeanour which instantly put us at ease, this was especially welcome during the couples shots, which I felt incredibly uncomfortable about having to take in the first place, Matt made this a far less daunting experience and really helped capture the essence of mine and Jack's relationship, by making us laugh and enabling us to be our silly selves.

We are so pleased with the photographs, there were lots of pictures of our guests, in more relaxed and natural ways. We specifically didn't want lots of staged shots, so Matts style really jumped out to us when we were looking for a photographer, as his portfolio really speaks to capturing people's natural beauty.

Thank you Matt, for helping us to have the most amazing wedding day possible, you've managed to capture the small details, and the things which we otherwise may have missed.

We also used Matt Fox's photobooth company - The Flash Fox, which not only fit the aesthetic of our wedding so well, thanks to it's retro/vintage design, but it was also a massive hit with our guests and we have had a fab time looking back through the photos which were taken. There was a wide range of props and our friends really loved it.

We haven’t received all of our photos back yet as we only got married a month ago. Nonetheless, the preview which we received showed some absolutely amazing pictures of the highest quality.

Matt really has captured the essence of our day, getting some lovely shots of things, that ad the bride and groom, we would have missed, like silly pictures of the bridesmaids and candid moments between family and friends.

Matt was a really subtle photographer, he was really discreet and got some fabulous shots of points in time when looking back we didn’t even realise he was there!

Matt did a fantastic job of our wedding. He made us comfortable throughout the lead up and on the day itself. Captured some great moments and the photos are all brilliant. We couldn’t recommend him enough, thoroughly professional and very talented.

I am so pleased we picked Matt to do our wedding. He captured a wedding I attended years ago, and I was so impressed with his style and how none of the photos appeared posed or forced, so it was an easy choice when we got engaged.

We had a very relaxed, non conventional day, with only 18 guests, and yet Matt managed to blend into the background and capture so many natural moments and interactions, and it was easy to forget you were having photos taken! He made my husband and I feel at ease in front of the camera (which is no mean feat!), and the photos are wonderful! I love that we have them in both colour and in black & white. We had a few requests for the day including taking photos of my Grandpa and Matt followed through on every request. He made us feel very relaxed and gave us some tips during our portrait session which has resulted in some wonderful shots!

He wasn't intrusive in any way - Matt was like a little invisible ninja! There are so many photos that we didn't even know were taken, or photos where we didn't even know Matt had even moved places!

We would recommend Matt to anyone looking for a relaxed, unobtrusive and professional wedding photographer!

Matt is the perfect mix of professional and friendly, he captured my wedding day amazingly.

I generally feel uncomfortable being on camera but Matt does his work whilst mixing in with the background which produces really good candid shots.

I am extremely disappointed with my photos, it was a very hot day and Matt was very flustered all day and didnt seem to want to be there. We only got a small number of the photos we wanted and I didn't get a photo of me on my own in my dress or with our dog who we arranged to be there. We also waited over 3 months to see them and got very limited family photos especially as we had a terminally ill family member. I don't think he researched the venue at all as there were so many better options. For future brides I would be very clear on the day what photos you want (as a list provided didnt get looked at) and choose a person who knows your venue to get the best out of it.

Matt is an incredibly talented photographer, very friendly yet professional, and a genuinely lovely guy. He finally photographed our wedding in 2022 after numerous Covid postponements (originally March 2020) and throughout this period was incredibly flexible and helpful. It was a pleasure to have him around us on the day and our photos our beautiful. Thank you Matt!

Matt has been great to work with; he was communicative and really helpful in the lead up to our wedding, having to answer a lot of questions for us during the pandemic.
We first saw Matt at a wedding fayre and knew straight away that we liked his style. We had a pre-wedding shoot, which turned out to be a hilarious walk and definitely put us at ease in front of the camera.
On the wedding day, Matt took such lovely photos and we love looking back on the perfectly-captured memories.

Matt is professional and confident but not pushy or intrusive. We didn't really want all of our photos to be staged and set up so were really happy when we discovered that Matt's style is much more relaxed and natural (this really suited our outdoor tipi wedding). He managed to capture lots of little moments of happiness that may not have been seen with a more traditional photographer.

We also had our pre-wedding shoot with Matt at Prior Park in Bath and, while we're both still pretty awkward in front of the camera, having the chance to spend some time with Matt and understand what professional photography involves was really useful when it came to the big day itself!

Over four months later and we still haven't printed out any of our wedding photos for framing yet because we're having too much trouble cutting our favourites down! Basically, we are both really happy that we chose Matt and would definitely recommend him :)
