I love all the candid shots of people enjoying the day and the standard shots of the families with the bride and groom as well, they were positioned in a lovely garden and he framed it all so well. We couldn't have been more delighted with the photos that Tom took for our wedding. To be honest, I was expecting a very high standard of photography because my sister had used Tom for her wedding and the results were beautiful. For both weddings, he captured the "standard" shots our parents wanted but in an innovative, interesting way as well as getting what I wanted, reportage and intimacy, moments that I might have missed. As a TV producer I have very high standards when it comes to photography so I knew I needed someone who could meet my expectations. What I hadn't expected was how incredibly easy it was to work with Tom on the day. It was a tricky day for me, I'd just found out I was pregnant and no-one else knew, I was tired, a bit scared and overwhelmed by it all. I also HATE having my photo taken. Tom was incredibly good at putting me (and everyone else) at ease. This is an incredible skill that I think in some ways goes above and beyond the quality of the photos which as I said, were outstanding and I love them. Thanks Tom - it's 15 years later and your work is still a great gift to us.
