Ben was flawless from start to finish. Communication was essential, and he set the bar. Often weddings can be overwhelming, and you can feel as if you need to please everyone, but Ben was brilliant in reminding us that its about "us" and what we needed, and he made sure we had that.
On the day, he was exceptional, providing hair clips and other accessories when needed, a service you wouldn't even expect! I didn't notice him on the day (which was a good thing I am told), and he managed to capture the day perfectly.
There were organised photos, spur of the moment and some on the side of a mountain, and he made all as easy as the eachother.
Post wedding, he delivered the finished photos in a time far quicker than we expected, and also was on hand to answer any queries we had on photobooks, and just in general friendly advice.
A special shout out too to his second shooter on the day, Seb, who also met the above.
We could not have done it without Ben and we would recommend him to anyone and everyone!!! -

Amazing and faultless
We got married in October 2025 and even when booking our photography back in April 2023 it was clear from looking through Bens work that he was going to be the guy for us. We didn’t want to spend our wedding day standing around for formal photos and wanted natural moments captured. After receiving our photos back just a few short days ago it was clear we made the right choice. We’ve laughed, cried and everything inbetween looking back through them. He really did capture the day in the most perfect way. Not only is his work outstanding - he is just the most easy going, down to earth guy and just slotted right into the day. We felt so relaxed and at ease with everything. I was impressed that he even knew just exactly how to put my veil in when we were struggling with it in the morning! 🤣 We received our photos back bang on the time he advised too with great communication. Would absolutely recommend - you won’t be disappointed! -

We could not recommend Ben highly enough! From the moment he walked into the chaos of the bridal party getting ready, he slotted in like we’d known him for years. Throughout the day Ben was engaging, friendly, helpful and so relaxed! The photos that he captured are nothing short of perfect. He captured so much laughter, smiles, love and fun that we were able to relive the day through all the photos. If you are looking for someone who will blend into your day, capture stunning photos and be an asset to your wedding, Ben is your guy! -

If we could give Ben and Shot Differently six stars, we would.
From the first enquiry to the delivery of our gallery, the service was flawless. I am someone who normally hates being photographed, so finding a photographer who could be present but unobtrusive was crucial. Ben was exactly that—calm, charming, and so blended in that we often forgot he was there.
He also came impeccably prepared (think emergency fashion tape, plasters—he even looked after my lip gloss!). Our guests adored him, and my niece has already booked Ben for her wedding next year.
When the photos arrived, it felt like reliving the day. Every image tells a story—natural, beautiful, and full of real moments. We couldn’t have wished for a better photographer. The value for money is almost unbelievable and for any future occasion there is only one choice for us: Ben at Shot Differently. Absolutely outstanding. -

A photographer who really ‘got’ us!
We chose Ben to photograph our wedding and we were not disappointed. A small, colourful family wedding with three young children we were looking for a photographer who could capture the colour, essence and reality of our wedding day, including our children - letting the atmosphere and fun of the day shine through. We chose Ben because we liked his reportage style and his previous worked captured children brilliantly. From the first friendly phone calls to meeting Ben at the house as we got ready we knew we had chosen the right person - he really ‘got’ us and our family. Ben is so warm, friendly, and easy going, fantastic at capturing children with all their little quirks while still able to take a great posed picture. He captured the personalities of our family perfectly throughout the day, with natural photos full of smiles and joy - they are photos we will always treasure.

Ben was fantastic
I cannot stress how great Ben was on our wedding day. Incredibly helpful and well prepared for anything, not to mention just how nice a guy he is which makes a stressful day a lot calmer and easier. -

Ben was incredible from start to finish. At the point of booking him through our venue, he was in touch quickly and made sure to keep in touch leading up to the wedding to ensure we had the perfect day. On the day of the wedding, he calmed our nerves, made us and our guests laugh, and made sure my husband and I were prioritised throughout. We were absolutely delighted to have Ben record our day for us.
