Where do I even begin…
You book your special day and start looking at booking a photographer. You start looking through all of the options and the pictures that I seen just didn’t feel right, they were beautiful pictures but I just couldn’t imagine us in the pictures.
Then I randomly came across Lewis Cannon when I was really starting to feel stressed out about it. I spent about an hour just in awe of his talent and creativity. I just knew. Lewis was the one person that we needed for photography! After a few conversations between us I was 10000% sure he was the right man for the job.
We had a few conversations about how the day was going to go and he asked if there was any requests for special pictures that we wanted. By this point and by looking at all of his pictures, I just knew I could trust him to capture the day perfectly and just trust the process. And by gosh, I am externally thankful I did because every single picture is stunning. He really did just feel like one of the guests that was supposed to be there.
Lewis is beyond talented with a camera, creative and just knows how to get the perfect pictures while making it a fun experience. Our day just wouldn’t have been the same without him there and now thanks to Lewis we will forever have the most beautiful pictures to look back on and smile every time we see them.
I just wish we could relive the day over again.
Forever grateful to have had you be apart of our day.

The most amazing wedding photographer
I don't know how he managed it but he made two very camera shy people very comfortable infront of the camera ALL day. Infact, some of our favourite moments of our wedding day was just going off with Lewis to have some quiet time away to get some pictures with just us & Lewis. He is so comfortable to be around whilst also being very professional, from first contact to receiving our beautifully edited photos and video.
Do not hesitate to book this man for your photo needs as this man is incredible & will make you feel so at ease infront of the camera, he will do you proud - trust me.
Thanks again Lewis, you were incredible from start to finish & we hope we can book you again for the future! (Maybe a wedding anniversary, who knows?) -

The guy is a genius! 📸🤍
My wife and I could not recommended Lewis highly enough! Lewis stepped in very last minute to be our photographer having been let down by our initial choice and from the minute we made contact it just felt like it was all meant to be! Lewis was so welcoming and instantly made us comfortable. He had loads of ideas on the best way to get the most amazing photos and oh my goodness did he deliver…our photos are insane! We are in complete awe of how beautiful they are.
Lewis’s passion for photography was evident in the lead up, on the day and in the final product. It really felt like he was a guest at our wedding in the least intrusive way. He was so unassuming and open which as a same sex couple was a vitally important quality in our photographer.
Artistic photos that captured the natural happiness of all the little moments of the day between us and our guests. Anyone looking for a wedding photographer get Lewis right to the top of your list for booking! -

We cannot recommend Lewis Cannon Photography enough. Lewis is passionate about taking brilliant photographs and making the memories of your special day come to life. We still find it hard to choose favourite photographs from the day. What is more he is a lovely guy, great fun and makes you feel at ease in front of the camera whilst at the same time managing to make you feel like he isn’t there. Our photographs are beautifully edited and we received them promptly after our wedding! -

Beyond exceptional
TL:DR Lewis is exceptional at what he does!
I'm particularly picky about photos being taken of me as I have the tendency to more often than not look like a potato in most snaps I have taken. So my wife and I looked for a wedding photographer that could truly bring out our personalities and make beautiful photos that would last an age. I compared all Angus based photographers and Lewis stuck out as a clear winner from his portfolio but on speaking to him I was truly sold. It was like talking to an old friend, his warmth and way of putting you at ease was wonderful and comforting and he didn't mind traipsing around the Cairngorms with us in February to get the atmospheric shots we wanted.
The day of the shoot was cold, wet, miserable and typical of February. Lewis came armed; umbrellas, ideas and energy that kept us smiling, laughing and posing.
The photos are unreal.
Gorgeous etheral, clear shots that I never thought in a million years we could get. And!!! What's more. I don't look at all potatoish, infact quite human and dare I say handsome.
Lewis has an eye that most creatives dream of. We were driving to the next location and he pulls over all of a sudden as he spotted a river flowing between the hills with a bridge over. How he saw it when it was hidden off the beaten track will leave me wondering for years to come, but the view was amazing and the pictures even more so
I could go on and on but my advice is book him and trust the process. You will be nothing but in love with the results.
