We had Debbie as our elopement wedding photographer she was absolutely amazing!!, so lovely and bubbly and made us feel totally at ease. We only met her for the first time on our big day but it was like having a friend turn up with a camera, felt as if we already knew her due to her pleasant friendly communication before hand.
Her attention to detail was spot on and she was very inventive with her ideas.
We chose her as we loved the style of her previous work and were not disappointed!.
Choosing which photos to post was extremely difficult as they are all brilliant and completely unique. We definitely made the right choice! -

My husband and I were legally married during covid, with a wedding party of six. We always intended to have a bigger wedding celebration later on, when it would be safe to have everyone we'd want there, including our friends and my husband's family from overseas. When the time to plan our "big wedding" came, we knew photography was going to be high on our list of priorities, especially as this would be our first time seeing some of our loved ones in nearly 5 years.
When we had our initial consultation with Debbie, I felt like we clicked immediately - she's extremely sweet and bubbly and she was so enthusiastic about even small suggestions or fragments of ideas that we had, as well as having a lot of her own. I already loved her work, based on her website and portfolio - she loves storytelling and has a great eye for detail and colour, plus a background in dress photography, even down to working with the designer of most of my wedding outfit (who gave Debbie a glowing recommendation when I mentioned we were considering working with her, which was a nice green flag!). On a technical level, I knew she fit what we were looking for, but after speaking with her, we were in agreement that we wanted her to shoot our wedding: she really seemed to understand us as people and how much had been leading up to this day and all that we wanted to convey. After that initial conversation, there wasn't really any discussion of anyone else - we both had a feeling that Debbie got us and that her brand of photography would help us tell our story in the best way.
We did get very busy with wedding planning, as I'm sure everyone can imagine, but Debbie reached back out to us at just the right time to get to know us further and to get us thinking about what we wanted from her on the way. We were having some unrelated difficulties with other vendors and she was incredibly supportive of us, going above and beyond to help us figure out a solution. If we had questions or ideas we wanted to run past her, she was always quick to respond and communicated well with us.
On the day itself, Debbie arrived early, got some beautiful shots of my family and other wedding details while the bridal party were getting ready and then came back in time to get shots of me finishing dressing and heading to church. During the service, she captured a lot of very intimate, small moments, a lot of which I wasn't fully aware of at the time, and when it was over and we started to shoot the more curated shots, I think it's safe to say that pretty much the entire congregation fell in love with Debbie. She spoke to pretty much everyone, made us laugh and put us instantly at ease, while also directing us to get the best possible shots. We decided to use bubble wands and bubble guns instead of confetti, and she lined up and edited the photos with these in gorgeously.
After we were done at the church and had got some preliminary shots of the reception venue, she took me and my husband off to get some photos with just us before bringing us back and getting our last few shots at the venue. Throughout, I constantly had guests coming to me and telling me how much they were enjoying being around her and couldn't wait to see the photos. We didn't have to wait long either - a few days later, we were sent over a preview of about 15 photos and I was genuinely shocked at how beautiful they were. When the full gallery was ready, I was in tears in seconds of starting to look through them because I just couldn't believe how we'd been captured: it was very authentic to us, but the best possible version of us. I still have the gallery open in a tab on my phone and look at them most days. I can't get over them and I hope I never do.
If i could give one piece of wedding advice, it would be to find vendors you like and trust, and Debbie is absolutely testament to that. She's so funny and sweet and kind: an actual ray of human sunshine. She's a person who genuinely sees beauty in the world, and in us. I legitimately consider going with her the best decision we made for our wedding. -

Debbie is the most talented Photographer that I know. She has such a wonderful personality too. She is beautiful both on the outside and inside
I know her personally as we worked together and I told her one day when she showed me her work that she should be a Photographer professionally and if I ever got married I would want her to be my photographer!!
4 years later I kept to my promise and she was my photographer at our wedding which only happened just over 3 weeks ago.
She has such an eye for detail and her work is so amazing - I cried when I saw my slideshow of our special day - she captured every single moment - so many wonderful pictures - not one that we both didn't like!

Wedding photography and adventure shoot
Debbie was the most incredible and energetic photographer and our pictures from the day are amazing. She was so good at making everyone feel immediately very comfortable and we had a lot of our guests tell us how much they appreciated this. We’d really recommend the adventure shoot- this was so much fun, allowed us to get to know Debbie and the pictures that we have from this are also so special. Debbie was amazing!!!
Debbie was amazing from start to finish. She was so friendly and welcoming, but also very professional. She made both us feel so comfortable and confident during the day. All our guest couldn’t stop saying how lovely she was all day! We have our pictures now, and they are so much better than ever imagined . Magical, beautiful, wonderful!!
Debbie is as beautiful a photographer as she is a person! We were let down by the photographer we initially booked, just four weeks before our wedding, but now we are so glad that we were!! Because we’d have never met Debbie and had the pleasure to work with her!
Debbie was there for us in every way! In meeting her, we both felt so at ease and so comfortable in her presence as she’s such a warm and lovely person. Debbie took the time to get to know us both, treating us to coffee vouchers whilst we filled in our pre-wedding questionnaires! This made the occasion feel even more special, like we really mattered :) we really felt like she went above and beyond for us, like a port in the storm of all the wedding planning swirling around us.
On the day, Debbie was punctual, lovely, friendly, and just slotted in perfectly with all of our wedding guests! She continued to put as at ease, make us feel comfortable, and enjoy the photography process (no mean feat for two introverts). She went the extra mile to come up with lovely ideas and places to go on the day to make our photographs even more magical than we could have hoped for! All of our guests commented on how wonderful she was to have around!
Following the wedding, some of our photos arrived in a special carved keepsake box, along with the rest of our images on USB. We also have the choice to download and print on our own personal website.
Thank you so much Debbie, we are both so glad we met you! We would recommend to anyone looking for a wedding photographer - working with Debbie to capture your special day is the best thing you could do :)

Debbie was an absolute star at our wedding, I couldn’t recommend her highly enough. The pictures speak for themselves - she ensured every environment looked beautiful and helped us to shine in them - but her generosity, positive attitude, and kindness shine through on the day. Everyone commented on how Debbie just seemed like a friend, another member of the wedding party, she put everyone at ease and went above and beyond to make sure that everything went off without a hitch. -

Such a lovely and thoughtful person to have for our wedding photographer, we had a sudden death in the family and Debbie couldn't have been more supportive and understanding and nothing was too much. Love our photos!!
We booked a couple shoot with Debbie at Blea Tarn. Debbie did an AMAZING job capturing us, the pictures are absolutely incredible!!
We were very happy with the service Debbie provided, she was always very responsive to messages and questions before and after the shoot. On the day Debbie just knew how to put us at ease, the shoot was so much FUN! We laughed non stop!
