  Amazingly professional and effortless

  Simply put: Carl was amazing!
  From the first enquiry he was incredibly responsive, friendly and professional. We all know planning a wedding is stressful and choosing a wedding photographer is a significant decision, but Carl took the time to understand who we were as a couple, and what we wanted from our big day, and took the stress out of it. He then met with us both in advance at the venue so that we were able to discuss the types of images we wanted, helping us navigate through balancing family photos with a more relaxed feel which was important for us. Using his experience and expertise he recommended other shots which are now some of our favourite images from the day.
  Both Steven and I are a little nervous when having our photograph taken and on the day Carl really helped us to relax and enjoy the experience, and knowing that we had such a professional taking care us made all the difference. He interacted and managed our guests really effectively to make sure everything went without a hitch but we all had fun along the way.
  And the results.....well they are just beautiful! He has captured our special day perfectly and given us amazing photos we will treasure.

  Carl was the best& easiest decision we made for our wedding. I found him via wedding spot.co.uk and after looking through his work on his website we quickly booked to meet him and he came to meet us at our home. We knew right away we were in safe hands.
  
  He was an absolute joy to have on the day. In the morning whilst I was getting ready he captured all the excitement whilst keeping my niece entertained as she had decided "Mr camera" was her new best friend ! Then he kindly pointed out a bridesmaids shrug that still had the tags on! He was there... But not there in the most perfect balance. I felt completely at ease with him all day.
  
  Then later on he captured all the emotional moments in the ceremony that you wouldn't believe someone could with photos! And afterwards not only did he know how to direct everyone into the right shots but he also knows how to capture all the unspoken natural moments too (which make for great photos!).
  
  My husband and I were worried initially about our photos.... but we needn't have been. Carl knows exactly what he's doing! And even in those moments where he was taking the time to direct us into for photos, we almost forgot he was there.
  
  The guests have all since commented on how great his work is & his amazing photos captured the story of our day perfectly. I can't stop looking through them... it allows me to relive the day! He even managed to capture everything about the speeches that made all the memories come flooding back in photographs. To capture speeches... Without words? That's pretty amazing!
  
  We definitely wouldn't hesitate to recommend Carl for anyone's wedding photography and already have to our close friends who are getting married. You won't be disappointed. Thank you so much Carl for wedding photos we will treasure forever!

  Amazing!! Carl made our day. The pictures he captured were fantastic. He made us and all our family feel so comfortable and had a smile on his face all the time even after 8 hours. Really can't rate him highly enough. Mr & Mrs Scott.

  Carl was absolutely fantastic. He arrived early at the venue in the Lake District and identified the best locations for the photographs even getting the hotel staff to allow us access to areas usually off limits. He was incredibly professional and all guests complimented how unintrusive he was.
  Carl was brilliant with the children who attended and captured the most beautiful images of our children. Most notable were the natural shots Carl took when people were not aware they were being photographed. Out of the vast selection of photographs it is so difficult to choose which to put in an album, they are all amazing. Carl captured the magic of the day with the stunning photographs he took and we are so grateful. I would definitely recommend Carl to a friend.

  Carl was amazing from start to finish. His knowledge of weddings was helpful at keeping my nerves at bay also. Carl has a reassuring presence but at the same time has a way of being there without you actually realising it, meaning that we got some beautiful relaxed and "in the moment" shots as well as the stunning formal ones. We brought both an album and a number of prints which were all superb quality and a real reminder of our day. We had one image enlarged significantly for our dining room wall and none of the quality was lost. It looks stunning and my husband and I both love it. Carl produces all photos in black and white as well as colour and it is amazing how the same picture can trigger a different feeling as a result. We bought a mixture of both. Finally, Carl's service was swift in terms of turnaround after the wedding and he was helpful and approachable throughout the process from booking him right up to supplying us with our beautiful photobook (album) which he kindly hand delivered. We really felt he was as proud of it as we were.
  
  All in all, we couldn't recommend Carl enough. Indeed we even had him back after the wedding to photograph our cat (we're not mad honest!) and the results were fantastic.

  Relaxed yet professional, can't recommend enough, made the whole process easy and unobtrusive. The results were amazing! A really good mix of traditional photos and unique individual shots, Carl's attention to detail and eye for a truly beautiful picture are fantastic. Have already recommended to friends without hesitation.
