  • "We could not have had a better photographer"

We were married at Hedsor House this August and quite simply, could not have had a better photographer to go with a perfect location. He was patient, kind to our guests, amazing with our kids and all the others there, he did not stop running around to get perfect pictures (bear in mind it was 33 degrees that day!) and made us, and everyone else, feel totally at ease throughout. Plus somehow, he made me look decent, must be the editing process. We'd recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer and thanks to him we have pictures which significantly exceed our expectations and which we will never ever get bored of looking at.

  • "He captures moments like no one else does"
    Laura & Matt - Married June 2018 on 21 December 2018

Richard was definitely one of the first people booked for our wedding cause of his amazing work he captures moments like no one else does, he’s pictures say a thousand words and puts your day together like a magical storybook. Not only are the pictures you get at the end just perfect but Richard himself is one of the lovely people I meet whilst planning our wedding and on the day he just gets involved and makes you feel so at ease in he’s company like you’ve know him for ages when in reality we hardly meet beforehand. All I can say is a massive THANK YOU we LOVE LOVE LOVE our pictures and I would highly recommend Richard he’s just a star.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the price of your service?

Weekend wedding packages start at £1500 from preparations through to the party inclusive of a discount for Hitched.com couples

What does the wedding package include?

All of my wedding packages include a same-week Facebook preview, a private password protected gallery of images in high and low resolution, a pre-wedding consultation and as much support and advice as you need ahead of your day. Prints and albums are included in my top packages or can be added after your wedding when the dust has settled on your wedding.

How far in advance should I contact you?

Whenever you're ready. About one in five couples find me before they've even found a venue, however I've been booked in for an elopement on just a few week's notice.

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

Never! I love what I do and I have strict caps on how many weddings I shoot in a week, month and year to ensure I stay fresh and motivated and on top form.

Are you able to travel?

Of course! I've shot documentary commissions all over the world from India to Malawi, and photographed weddings in Australia, Italy, Portugal, Ibiza, Monaco, Slovakia and Mexico. In 2019 I'm already booked in to shoot weddings in Montenegro, Italy and Ireland

What style of photos do you take?

For the most part I work in a documentary style - capturing the feeling of your wedding as it unfolds. Then at two to three points during the day I steal the two of you for ten minutes or so for some much needed time-out together. During this time we explore your venue and create some images that are personal to who you are as a couple.

Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?

I'm a documentary photographer by background. When I'm not photographing weddings I'm often on commission in the UK and overseas for charities and my work has been featured by the likes of National Geographic.

Do you have the rights to publish the wedding photos?

All my couples are given a license to use the images online and to print for personal use. All that I ask is that they don't sell the images (Hello! magazine anyone?) or send them onto suppliers or blogs without telling my first.
