Wow, we cannot recommend Paul enough. Paul was so friendly, putting us completely at ease, whilst also so professional and captured everything just absolutely perfectly. He went above and beyond in everything he did, from meeting us at the venue before hand, fixing my dress and sneaking us out to capture the sunset. All of my family and bridesmaids said how it just felt like we had another friend with us on the day. Every photo is flawless I cannot even choose favourites, nothing was missed, every single detail captured. We received a handful of photos before we even woke up the following day so we had a few to share with family/friends which again was just above and beyond. Paul was our wedding photographer at Voco Thames when we got married back in September, and he was outstanding, as both a photographer and presence at our wedding. We had a few meetings with Paul prior to the wedding, and an engagement shoot, and throughout he was really positive and friendly, and went out of his way to ensure that we were comfortable with the photos and being photographed. At the wedding itself, he was patient and efficient at running through the many group shots we requested, and both my wife and I had a really fun time having photos done near the Thames. He was also very effective at blending in to take photos of the guests. Our engagement shoot photos were gorgeous (we have a few of them dotted around the house already!) and we've had our wedding photos back now. They're beautiful and really captured all the aspects of the day. We had a lot of children at the wedding and there are some lovely shots of them too!

Also - as a supplier, Paul has been a pleasure to work with – he was very responsive with emails, and very flexible with his time in generously agreeing to reschedule our pre-wedding shoot last-minute. It really helped take some of the stress out of the wedding organising! Both my wife and I would highly recommend :)

We couldn't have asked for a better photographer than Paul. On the day he was honestly more than a photographer, helping out with the little last minute things whilst still capturing the moments leading up to the ceremony. When it came to organising people for photos, Paul was polite and efficient, getting those done as quickly as possible so that we could carry on with the day and get lots of natural shots which is exactly what we requested. So many guests spoke to us afterwards and complimented Paul, and the final photos we received were everything we hoped for and more. I will never get tired of looking at them!

Wow well where do I start with Paul?

His photography skills are second to none but not only that, you will make a friend in Paul. From the moment we asked Paul to photograph our wedding we knew we’d made the right decision. Paul kept in contact with us throughout the year, booked a wonderful pre wedding shoot where he told us how to position ourselves for the best shots on the day, and followed this through on the day of the wedding. Paul communicated with us extremely well throughout the year and of course leading up to the big day. Paul ensured I hadn’t forgot any small detail, including umbrellas in case it rained. Its those small touches that went such a long way for me.

His professionalism, warmth and kindness just put you at complete ease. For someone who hates having their pictures taken, Paul made me feel calm and collected which in turn helped to produce our perfect wedding album. On the day of the wedding Paul put me at ease by being a calming presence and ensuring that the day ran smoothly so that I didn’t have to worry about a thing.

Paul went above and beyond for us on our wedding day, and did not leave any small detail out. We have relived our entire wedding day through our pictures and what collection of photographs to cherish forever.

We have a beautiful collection of photographs ranging from the morning of the wedding right until the party started in the evening. However on the day we didn’t feel that we spent time away from our guests having pictures and was able to enjoy the day with our family and friends whilst still producing multiple different shots in different locations of the venue - an impressive skill of Paul’s and I am so thankful!
Guests also commented on how Paul fit into the wedding and was discrete with taking pictures which helped to get candid photographs.

We booked Paul for our outdoor wedding before we booked the location after looking through his gallery and talking to him via email and over the phone (he is so quick with his responses!). I did think we may have rushed things when booking him. And then we met him, and all my reservations left, he is such a lovely person, so easy to talk to, very passionate and was visibly excited when he saw the wedding venue for the first time. He instantly began discussing the locations for shots and asking questions about the set up. We left the meeting with renewed excitement for our big day. Paul arrived earlier than planned and took some great photos of me (Bride) getting ready and my now husband standing around waiting for me. Once the ceremony started he effortlessly ran around taking shots from all sorts of angles. He communicated with us the whole day, making sure he captured every moment, but never interrupted the flow of the day. He made the couples photos seem easy and effortless, though not for himself as he often trudged into over grown foliage to get the best shot. All the guests loved him which isn’t a surprise as he is so friendly. He even managed to get some great photos of our very fidgety dog! We received the photos via an online album which is really easy to access and navigate and we couldn’t be happier with our photos, they are exactly what we wanted, lovely natural shots of every part of the day, not overly posy or staged. He seemed too good to be true when we first met but he isn’t… he’s real! Thank you for everything Paul, we are so happy we booked you and will be forever grateful.

Paul was amazing as our photographer, so relieved we asked him! we met for a relaxed coffee a couple of months before the day and instantly I knew we had picked the perfect photographer... such a nice guy, so approachable and very quickly understood us as a couple and the kind of photos we wanted. On the day he was spot on and kindly stayed longer than originally planned. Can't thank Paul enough and would highly recommend him!

Paul's communication was great in the run-up to the wedding, and he really took on board what we wanted. I was slightly nervous as I don't enjoy having my photo taken, but he was very understanding and came up with some excellent suggestions to help overcome this issue.

Paul was calm, organised and reassuring on the day, and nothing was too much trouble. So many of our friends commented on how friendly he was, and he felt like an extra guest at our wedding. Most importantly, Paul got some great photos of our wedding day that even I, as a photo-hating person, like!

Paul went above and beyond to ensure our wedding day was perfect. Even running little errands that weren’t necessarily his role but he just wanted to help out and make sure everything ran smoothly! It was a pleasure having Paul as our photographer for our wedding (a lot of guests thought he was a friend which is a testament to Paul's friendliness). We enjoyed meeting Paul prior to the wedding first online and then in person to have a look around the venue and talk about what we wanted. After making the tough decision to postpone our wedding because of the pandemic Paul was very accommodating and rearranged our date with no issues or price changes.

We had a pre-wedding meeting where we walked around the venue and discussed our preferences and as Paul was very experienced at our venue, he shared his excellent ideas. He is efficient at communicating too, with really prompt replies.

He was so amazing on the day and was engaging with everyone. So many of our guests commented on what a nice person he was! His friendly and calm approach made us feel so relaxed on the day and we couldn’t stop smiling. The rain on the day wasn’t an issue for Paul either. He knew where and how to get beautiful indoor photos and was very proactive in getting outside for the short bursts of sunshine!

We received our photos this week and are so happy and impressed with the results. You get to choose what one’s to share with your guests and we are looking forward to sharing them with them.

I am so grateful that we had Paul as the photographer for our wedding (myself as the bride). I could not recommend him more highly to anyone!
My mother was assisting with our planning and came across several photographers whose portfolios we then reviewed. I loved the style of Paul's photos - the backgrounds and staging were clean and pretty, the photos seemed fun and not rigid, and there was the use of sepia/ B+W which I love. I did not want typical Indian wedding photos - staged and repetitive, and we quickly knew this was who we wanted on our wedding team. Meeting with Paul the first time, it was clear that he was so passionate about his work. My then fiancé and I felt so at ease talking with him generally, as well as about the wedding, and knew we would feel comfortable with him behind the camera for some of the most important moments we would share. Our wedding events included a civil ceremony and wedding breakfast; a Hindu wedding ceremony and Reception, as well as multiple smaller functions (a music/ mehfil night and a henna/mendhi party with sangeet/dancing). Paul was familiar with some of our venues, but with those he had not worked at, he was so forthcoming in researching and visiting them ahead of time to find the best spaces to shoot in. We have beautiful photos on tree swings, against autumnal trees and pergolas, as well as more unique photos crossing the street (a particular favourite photo and memory of mine). He was so interested in our culture and the significance behind each event and this meant so much to us. What could seem overwhelming to others was exciting for him. He was able to attend and capture all but 1 of our 6 events giving us continuity and a sense of familiarity. He went above and beyond with understanding the events and our culture; the runnings of each event; and just making us all feel relaxed on the days - even attending my own mendhi (henna) at home to allow a complete timeline of our wedding story. He quickly became an extension of the wedding party and our family! He was able to build rapport with our younger and older guests, capturing a mixture of precious candid moments and staged family photos which we will forever treasure. On the day, he was calm, organised and had a vision. In the run-up, he was professional and easy to contact/ liaise with - I felt so reassured and had peace of mind as soon as we had him booked. The photos themselves have been so easy to access - all on 1 platform as a single gallery, but separated by each event. I have already had some developed into canvas prints for my family - seeing them takes us back as if we were there, and the colours/ quality/ moment captured have had such warm and positive feedback from our visiting family and friends. I have already booked Paul for a future occasion as he was such a pleasure to work with and so talented. Thank you so much again Paul!
