  The most beautiful photos ever

  Dom and Liam were absolute superstars on the day and also before and after. They helped us capture our day as it was: filled with love and happiness and without staged moments or awkward poses. They understood the people and the dynamics so well and it really shows. I'm sure we have the most beautiful pictures ever - they make you laugh, cry, smile but most importantly they transport us back to a day when absolutely everything was perfect and love was all around. Dom and Liam are lovely people, so friendly and helpful, they were so accommodating when we had to adjust to some unexpected changes. I can't fault them and I think they would make anyone's wedding day much better.

  Absolutely incredible!

  As soon as we discovered York Place Studios, we thought we’d found something very special, and after speaking to Dom, I knew her and Liam were the only people I wanted to photograph our wedding.
  
  All correspondence leading up to the wedding was friendly, easy, helpful and responsive, with Dom completely getting us as a couple and the wedding atmosphere we wanted to achieve.
  
  When I arrived at the venue on the day of the wedding and saw Dom, I genuinely thought she was one of our guests! Throughout the entire day, both Dom and Liam seamlessly fitted in with all our friends and family, and were an absolute pleasure all day, accommodating any specific requests and gave us really helpful guidance. They were funny, friendly, laid back, super accommodating and got stuck in with the party.
  
  We honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more, and hope these few words convey just how grateful we are. You were amazing!

  Choosing our wedding photographers was the easiest task we had. We both agreed we didn’t want the “conventional-people-smiling-to-the-camera” kind of pictures, we wanted to capture the wedding, the moment, as they were. Opening hundreds of tabs revealed more and more of the same until we saw York Place Studios - immediately we stopped and said This Is It. The photos on their website were so mesmerising, we wanted to frame them without knowing the people, and this is the difference between traditional wedding pictures to the art they bring.
  Dom, Liam and Matt were so nice to communicate with, and during the day just blended in with our guests. So many of our guests enquired about them, mentioning how professional they were throughout.
  The result is phenomenal. We can re-experience our special day and find what people were up to throughout. The most difficult task is to choose which of the nearly 1,000 pics we should print as each and every picture is special in its way.
  We cannot recommend York Place Studios enough, anyone who’ll have them on their wedding is lucky.

  Oh my lord, these guys are good. I'd give them six stars if I could. We saw the photos they did of a friend's wedding and were completely blown away by what we saw, so had high hopes when we booked Dom and Liam for ours. And boy, did they deliver. They absolutely captured the atmosphere, the feeling, the love. The photos are intimate, expressive, stunningly artistic. And they are SO NICE to deal with - professional, passionate, lovely. And they put in a shift - most wedding photographers seem to melt away after the first dance, but Dom and Liam were there from before the very start and stayed well into the night, capturing brilliant dancefloor fun. I literally cannot recommend these guys highly enough, we are beyond delighted with what they delivered.

  We are obsessed with our wedding photos!!
  
  We didn’t want a typical set of posed wedding photographs that we would never look at. We were hoping for wedding photos that could capture the feeling and energy of our wedding, from the excitement of getting ready with our bridal party, to the intimacy of our ceremony, to the craziness of the dance floor. York Place Studios did an amazing job of capturing moment after moment in a way that tells a story through different perspectives, and takes you back to those moments every time you look at the photos. Since receiving our slideshow a few weeks ago we must have watched it 20 times!
  
  Aside from the actual photos, we enjoyed working with Dom and Liam who were flexible, fun, and down to earth, and captured shots without being intrusive. While looking at photos, friends and family several times mentioned they didn’t realize pictures were being taken at the time, a testament to how Dom and Liam were able to capture the day naturally.
  
  If you are looking for lively, candid, cool and artistic wedding photos, we would highly recommend York Place Studios.

  York Place Studios are SUPERB! My (now) wife and I had a UK wedding, but we organised it from the US - so thankfully Dom, Liam and Matt (the videographer) always made themselves available by Skype and email to discuss details and make sure we would get what we wanted. They ensured that they understood our plans for the day, and came around early to scope out the venue and figure out which shots would work best.
  
  We chose York Place because we wanted photos that captured the life of the party rather than looking like overblown Instagram snaps. And we chose wisely! In the end we got hundreds of photos capturing fleeting moments that we never even knew happened - all the joyous chaos that went on while we were rushing around making sure everyone was happy. Dom and Liam (and Matt, who shot the video) were basically invisible throughout, allowing everyone to enjoy the event without feeling self-conscious, and leading to some fantastic candid snaps.
  
  Of course, we still asked for the classic arranged couple and group shots, and the York Place team were attentive and happy to take suggestions. Although our wedding was put together on a budget - we hosted it in the (pretty massive) back garden of a house we had rented - they made it look gorgeous; both large and intimate.
  
  In fact, York Place Studios were probably the single most expensive investment we made for our affordable wedding... but it was money well spent. These photos will last us a lifetime. Cannot recommend highly enough.

  We used York Place Studios as our wedding photographers in August last year, and we couldn't be happier! From the get go we knew that getting the right photographer was really important for us, we really wanted something natural, that captured all the tiny moments, and that wasn't at all forced (neither of us are particularly comfortable with having our photo taken).
  
  We were quite apprehensive about making sure we chose the right photographer for us and Dom & Liam couldn't have been more accommodating, we arranged to meet up to discuss the day and we instantly felt at ease, all of our questions were answered and we loved the list of questions that Dom & Liam had prepared for us too, as some of them hadn't even crossed our mind. All of our communication with Dom & Liam during the lead up to the wedding was great, and we always felt really looked after.
  
  On the day Dom & Liam kept us both very calm and made us feel so comfortable! They really did blend into the background, and all of our guests commented on how unobtrusive they were (and how lovely). They arrived first thing in the morning, and stayed right up until the very end! Which was amazing!! Everything we had asked for, they were on it, so we really could just relax and enjoy our day confident that they were capturing it all.
  
  We didn't have to wait long before we received the slideshow of our day, & it was amazing! We absolutely loved it! Dom & Liam captured the day beautifully, we cry with laughter every time we watch it. They captured all the moments we missed, managed to catch the feeling of the day, and to catch a true sense of all our friends and family. Every time we look at our photos, we notice something different, remember something different, the photos really do tell the story of our day just the way we wanted them to! They are perfect!

  Dom and Liam are fantastic at what they do. They are so professional and so dedicated, nothing is too much trouble. On the day of the wedding they stayed much later than we ever thought they would. In doing so, they captured so many amazing moments.
  
  We are so happy with our wedding photographs we can’t even put our praise into words.
  3 months on and we still watch the slideshow on a daily basis. The photographs are quite simply incredible.
  
  We can’t recommend them enough! You will not regret choosing them as your wedding photographers.
