My name is Jono, and I am fortunate enough to do something I absolutely love for a living!
I'm very much a family man and have two fantastic kids (Alfie & Alice) and an amazing wife (Emily) who is silly enough to support all my stupid ideas and tolerate my endless dad jokes.
I have a real passion for photography, and love telling stories through the pictures I take! It doesn't matter if it’s a wedding, a shoot with a model or a location shoot with your family, my level of dedication remains the same (I've been known to climb tree's just to get the perfect picture!).
Stuffy photography isn't my style and to me, the most natural photos are often the ones where the subjects are concentrating on having an amazing time and not on posing for the camera.
My aim is to get to know my customers, learn what you're about and the things that are important to you, this enables me to provide stunning pictures that highlight your special event or day.
If you think we could work together, I'd love to hear from you! I'd be happy to meet up for a coffee to talk about your next event! Let’s have a chat!
Jono x
Had an amazing shoot with Jono, we got some absolutely incredible images and he made me feel totally at ease the entire time. I got some images back within a few hours, and plenty more over the next few days! Totally thrilled with what we managed to shoot, already planning our next shoot!
We had our belated Engagement Shoot with Jono today and cannot speak highly enough of him and his fantastic work. He was very professional and knew exactly what we wanted, but nothing was too much and he kept us laughing the whole time! Cannot recommend him highly enough and I know I will never look further for a photographer as he is all round a great person with everything you could want to make the perfect picture. Photos are beautiful and to the highest standard that you could ask for - could not be happier with them. Thank you Jono!!
Prices are from £1000 including a FREE Engagement Shoot. I'll be on hand for the duration of your day to take photos from the bride getting ready to the first dance. If you wish to book my services for a different period of time, or if you are working to a set budget, please contact me, and I'll be happy to provide you with a no-obligation quote for your wedding.
I am to provide Candid and Flattering Wedding Photos, that depict your day perfectly. More often than not, the best and most meaningful pictures are the ones I take when you don't even realise I'm there. I like my customers to concentrate on enjoying their big day, without having to pose awkwardly in front of a camera every 5 minutes. Parents and Grandparents often wish for more formal photography, which I'm happy to facilitate too!
Each wedding is completely different, so I tailor my services to match my customer's requirements. For a full wedding day, I will be on hand from the bride getting ready to your first dance.
Bookings should be made as far in advance as possible, but if you have something short notice, I'd love to help to depending on my availability.
No - I want to give your big day the dedication it deserves. Once deposits are paid, your booking is set in stone, and won't be offered to anyone else.
Of course! I am based in Coalville, Leicestershire, but regularly travel around the country to events and weddings. Sometimes there may be an additional charge, but this will be included in any quotation I provide.

All my photos are shot on a professional DSLR, and edited individually through Adobe Creative Cloud.
My aim is to always get to know my customers as much as possible prior to shooting their big day. I want to know what makes you happy, what inside jokes you have, and which of your guest's busts out the best dance moves at your wedding! I've got no problem with coming to see you to meet up for a coffee and to have a chat about your plans, as I tend to get just as excited as you do! I always try to fade into the background as much as possible, allowing me to capture truly natural photos of you and your guests. That being said, where possible, if theres a local beauty spot, its always an amazing idea to pop off with the newly weds to get those once in a lifetime pictures.
All my photos are shot on professional DSLR mirrorless cameras, and edited individually through Adobe Creative Cloud.
I'll always provide unwatermarked images via a digital download through dropbox. I keep all my images permanently and securely on file for up to 5 years.
Generally, I always try to get my images delivered as soon as possible. I try to get images to you within 2 weeks, but this time frame can vary during busy periods. I'm usually just as eager to show you the shots I've taken as you are to see them! I'll always deliver my images personally to you on a USB (Included in the price), and will even come around with a bottle of wine and go through your pictures with you to ensure you're happy.
Whenever I shoot a wedding, I usually take thousands of photos. Inevitably, there's always photo's where people have their eyes shut, or someone is looking the other way. I go through each shot I take and filter out the ones I deem unsuitable, leaving you with a set of images that showcase your day effectively.
I believe when booking a photographer you buy into their style and personality, which is why I work alone. If however, you do wish to book an assistant photographer, this can be arranged upon request in as much notice as possible.
Those that know me personally, will vouch for my excellent time keeping skills. I'll always ensure I arrive on time and ready to work. In the rare events of illnesses and family emergencies, I have a number of photography friends that will step in, in my absence, however, this has never happened to date, and your big day will always be a priority!
As a rule, my fee is for an entire day of photography, from the bride getting ready to the first dance. If you would like to book me for further time on the day of your wedding, this can be arranged.
Of course. I prefer to be given as much notice as possible, however, additional time can be purchased either beforehand or on the day if necessary.
If you require additional time on the day this can be purchased on an hourly basis at a rate of £120 per hour.
Payment can be made either by card or cash. Whichever is easiest for you! All events are subject to a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking, with the remaining balance being due 14 days prior to your wedding. Once a deposit is received, that booking is set in stone and will be reserved for solely for your wedding.
Me too, but that doesn't mean we still can't get some amazing shots! - If its a wedding, the last thing you want to worry about is me poking a camera in you're face and asking you to say "cheese" at any given opportunity, its awkward for everyone involved! I try my very best to blend into the background as much as possible. When there's a bit of extra time between ceremonies and meals, I often suggest taking an hour or so away from weddings to visit a picturesque setting for a handful of extra special shots, but I pride myself on my sense of humor and we'll always focus on having a laugh together and getting natural happy shots that way!
Yep! - I know my way around photoshop, and work off the principle that if there's a blemish that would be present for under 2 weeks, it gets removed. ? I've repaired all sorts in photoshop, from holes in tights to massive bulging spots, It's not a problem. If theres something you're particularly conscious of and would like me to avoid and remove, let me know, I'll do my best to help! My aim is to always make you feel comfortable on camera.
Generally, I don't tend to bother. - The reason for this is that I think photo albums are a product of yesteryear and tend to end up in a cupboard collecting dust. These albums tend to be an expensive outlay for both myself and you as a customer. Keeping things digital allows me to keep my prices down and that extra few pounds in your pocket. This also gives you the opportunity to purchase canvases and albums (should you wish) through online retailers, which often work out cheaper anyway!
