How I work

I find a natural, relaxed style, where I capture your day as it happens, produces the best results. I combine documentary style photography with my many years of experience using film. This means that every image I take thoroughly thought out, is well-framed and means something to you. At every wedding we find the time to take a step back from the day and enjoy an intimate photo shoot with just the two of you – again in a relaxed, natural, contemporary style that reflects your personality. Also, for those of you worried about having your picture taken, I don’t need you to love the camera – just show your love for each other on your wedding day and I’ll do the rest

John's just the best

Our wedding photos were very important to us and John was the perfect photographer and worth every penny. He met with us during wedding planning and had multiple phones calls to support us during the pandemic to reschedule our wedding date. He produced a a beautiful guest book from the engagement shots and wowed us with even better wedding photos. We were so impressed when our album arrived- I can't recommend him enough. He worked between the bride and groom side by himself on the wedding day, captured every moment beautifully and stayed long after hours. He's brilliant at what he does and his work stands above many other photographers we researched for our big day. He's very personable and manages to capture the big day perfectly from the sidelines. Hire him, you won't regret it.
