Frequently Asked Questions

What is the price of your service?

For full day wedding photography, investment starts at £1395. I offer special rates for part day/midweek weddings and I also love to work out a quote to suit your budget. Get in touch and let's get a conversation started.

What services do you offer?

Photography (well duh!). I offer artistic and alternative wedding photography. Primarily full day coverage, but I do love a quickie (don't we all), and also I have massive wanderlust, so if you're getting hitched overseas, I'd love to chat. I also offer all sorts of albums and prints. Just let me know what you fancy and we'll work out a plan :)

What does the wedding package include?

I try to keep it simple. A full day wedding coverage includes - *Full consultation (I really am here for you when you need a natter) *Approx 12hrs coverage *400+ images of your day *full editing and artworking of images *Online password protected gallery with full (and free) access to download your images *An awesome experience from first to last :)

How far in advance should I contact you?

Hmm, tough one. Nowadays couples seem to be booking pretty late, and I tend to have a weekend or two free most summers. However, to avoid missing out, I always advise to get in early. 1 year is about right I would say. However, if you are like me and love to procrastinate, by all means give me a shout even if your big day is only a month or two away - you might get lucky ;)

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

Unfortunately no. I loaned my time turner to Hermione and she is yet to return it.

Are you able to travel?

Absolutely. I cover the whole of the UK and overseas. I have a bucket list of places I want to shoot in the UK (Fforest is currently top of that list) and I'd LOVE to shoot in America. Palm Springs anyone??

What is the charge for travelling?

This depends where the wedding is. I charge travel expenses for weddings over 50 miles from my home (PO12) and also overnight accommodation may also be required. This is all worked out on a case by case basis.

What style of photos do you take?

Amazing ones.

What''s the delivery time for photographic report?

Usually around 6 weeks, but this can stretch to 8 weeks in peak season.

How do you work?

I truly believe that wedding photography is a collaboration. We work together to get those shots that you will adore for years to come. If you are the kind of couple who are more than happy for their photographer to drag them away from the buffet because the most gorgeous light has just presented itself and is begging to be photographed, then you're the couple for me. I am primarily a reportage style photographer, simply documenting what is going on in a stylish, alternative and artistic way. The most I interfere at weddings is to maybe ask the make-up artist to move you closer to a window to make use of the gorgeous light pouring in, that kind of thing. Beyond that, I'm a hands off the wheel kinda guy. I often hear couples mention they hate the idea of "posing", and I couldn't agree more - stiff, awkward poses is not what I'm about at all. I will intervene of course, give a little direction, but my main goal is to capture the connection between the two of you. If that means saying "step a little closer to each other", or "both turn this way a little", to get that epic shot, then I'm all for it.
