Martin, your stunning photography is breathtaking! So many family and friends keep saying how they’re the most beautiful photos they have ever seen and what a pleasure you were to be around, all everybody wanted to do was buy you a drink! You have captured our perfect day for us to relive forever. We can’t thank you enough for everything you did for us, from keeping me calm at that ‘get the frock on’ stage, your invisible presence at the Church, the easy breezy formals to the extra special shoot at the Priory. Opting for Martin James as the photographer for our wedding turned out to be an astute choice. Right from the get-go to the moment we had our splendid wedding album in hand, Martin's blend of professionalism and zeal for his craft was unmistakable. He genuinely took the time to grasp what we were envisioning, contributing his seasoned insights and seamlessly integrating into the fabric of our day to catch those fleeting, genuine moments without ever feeling intrusive.

Forever grateful to Martin
Martin James. From the moment we met him, we knew we had made the right choice. One of the things that stood out most about Martin was his professionalism and calming presence. Poor communication post-wedding, never received our wedding album
We used Martin James as our wedding photographers and videographers in May 2023 - Martin and his team were very friendly and professional on the day. Martin was also very friendly for our engagement shoot and in our video call prior to the wedding.
Unfortunately a few things happened after our wedding which let the service down:
- Some of our main family photos that we had asked for prior to our wedding day, not everyone was looking at the camera in the photo/ blinking. We had asked if two photos could be merged together (along with a couple of other small touch ups) and were told by Martin's admin Kenneth it would cost £300 extra to do this. Instead we got a free photoshop trial and fixed this ourselves in less than an hour. It would have been nice for the professionals to have helped with this with a more reflective price of how much time it would've taken them to fix.
- All communication with Kenneth (99% of our communication was through him) was painfully slow, he did not answer all our questions and we had to keep repeating ourselves in follow-up emails.
- We had to keep chasing when we were going to get our wedding album and were assured this would be ready for delivery in 'early 2024' - from December onwards our emails got ignored.
-After being ignored for weeks in a row, in February we CC'd multiple people in (we were never able to get hold of anyone on their contact number on the emails), Kenneth advised us that they've relocated to Dubai, their previous wedding album supplier is no longer available so they were refunding our wedding album order.
- We waited over 9 months for a wedding album, if we hadn't repeatedly chased this we doubt we would have heard back.
For such a special and important day to us it was really disappointing that they were unable to fulfil their commitments - had they been more responsive to emails we feel we would have got our wedding album in time.Martin James Photography & Videography's reply:

Please know that Martin James is still very much based in the UK, along with his family, and is committed to ensuring the quality and responsiveness of our service remains high, irrespective of our geographical expansion. Regarding your wedding album, we are genuinely sorry for the delay and the eventual cancellation of your order due to unforeseen circumstances with our previous external supplier, we hope the refund and gifts you received made up for this. We recognise how precious wedding albums are, and it's deeply regrettable that we were unable to fulfill this part of our service for you. We would be thrilled to discuss the creation of your wedding album at your earliest convenience free of charge with our new supplier. Please let us know a suitable time for you, and we’ll ensure everything is arranged to your satisfaction. Please rest assured, we are taking your feedback seriously and are implementing measures to enhance our communication channels and client service protocols. We had Martin for our Photography and Drew for our Videography. They were both professional and easy to get a long with and really nice guys. We had such a laugh on our wedding day and to be fair most of the time I didn't even know they were there. Our photos arrived via email a week after our wedding and we love them. The quality is amazing and I like the way they are different and quirky for some of the pics.
I highly recommend Martin if you are looking for amazing photos. 5* rating from me. 😁 -
